Firefox keeps of answers is not it was supposed to be reliable!

Firefox is continually "not responding".

This has happened

A few times a week

Is some time ago

This can be caused by several different things: 1) Pages that have a lot of code or content can sometimes really lag Firefox. Things like videos and games start plugins that can hang or trolling. (2) extensions can sometimes block Firefox when they try to do tasks. The extension of AVG safesearch, for example, analyzes every page you look at what makes Firefox very slow. Try the extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common troubleshooting Firefox problems

Great, thanks for posting back. I will mark your answer as the solution.

Oddly even though I could see speedbit mentioned in your reports of incidents and the title of related bug I didn't see he's looking for to your system details side. It is a component of something else, or Firefox support simply not picked up and listed.

Firefox 3.6.3 will not play integrated youtube videos. It comes up with ' year error occurred please try again later. " It happens all the time. If you click to go to youtube the clip plays.

Well, here's my answer to my own post.

After reading some posts here about possible solutions, I tried to delete all the cookies for YouTube (Tools > options > privacy > show cookies > youtube.com). Then tested on a site with integrated video would not play before and on YouTube directly - both worked!

The poster with the suggestion of cookies also proposed changes to the 'exceptions', but it was not necessary at least for me.

  • Windows keeps refreshing. Will not stop even after the resumption of the plant.

A week ago I decided to test my windows aero desktop number. It was gray with a 4.0 remained to a 4.0. After the test, all operable Windows I keeps refreshing. Content not be refreshed but the fact of the shell (if necessary). If I drag the window it will jump to where I started dragging it since. No one knows how to fix?

P.S. I did a cover of the factory to try to solve, and it did not work.

Have you also all the updates and service packs - they had erased at the resumption of the plant and must be reinstalled at all.

You can get in trouble with your device drivers (those on the factory recovery disc may be obsolete).  Go to Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you should get updates for your video card and monitor at least and all the others you have time to do - they can help way beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows:http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows:http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

If it does not, it could very well be a real hardware problem (since dismissed pretty much factory relocation a software problem, except for updates unless you have already done as well).  Here's how to do a little troubleshooting on your own equipment:http://elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Hardware_Tshoot.  After that, I would either return it to the manufacturer for repair or find a well known local computer repair shop to diagnose and repair (or replace) the problem.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Hi I am trying to get a working version of Java, but Firefox keeps blocking.

I am trying to view Web sites that use Java, but Firefox keeps blocking. I go in addons and try to authorize but everything is gray and will not let me. Is there a way to use the latest Java and udate or should I go with another browser now?

If you are satisfied with this 'solution', that's fine, but if the current version of Java does not have to appear on the page modules, there may be several reasons for this.

    (1) you may need to install the 32-bit version for Firefox. He cannot use the 64-bit version. Oracle has more information on this in their technical support article: which Java download should I choose for my system to Windows 64-bit operating?

    (2) the installation program may have failed. You can check the physical presence of the plugin DLL here:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_60\bin\plugin2\npjp2.dll

If this folder/file does not exist, the installation failed. Please try the installation again.

    (3) Firefox cannot be scans the registry for plugins. Firefox detects most of the plugins in a registry entry. Some users have scanning disabled for some reason any. Here's how check and fix this:

    (A) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (B) in the search above the list box, type or paste the scan and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (C) If plugin.scan.plid.all is not set to its default value true, double-click it to activate it by default.

If you have changed this setting, close and restart Firefox to start another analysis.

If you see the Add-ons page, section Plugins yet, can you find the current Java plugin it and allow it?

    (4) registry file to the Firefox plugin may be damaged. You can remove it and Firefox plugins re-scan.

Open the settings folder (AKA Firefox profile) current Firefox help

    • button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > troubleshooting information
    • Menu help > troubleshooting information
    • type or paste Subject: support in the address bar and press enter

In the first table of the page, click on the "view file" button to launch a new window of Windows Explorer showing your settings files.

Leave this window open, switch back to Firefox and output, either:

    • "3-bar" menu button > button "power".
    • File menu > exit

Pause while Firefox finishing its cleanup, then rename pluginreg.dat to something like pluginreg.old

Launch Firefox back up again. (If you want to restore your previous session non-private use history > restore previous Session.)

When you return to the Add ons page, is the current Java plugin finally on the list?

  • Firefox 34.0.5 cannot print correctly. I checked all the pages on firefox problems and still can not solve the problem.

I use 34.0.5 with Windows 7 and that you cannot print correctly. In print preview, it appears in a label size. I double checked all my settings in firefox and my preferences from the printer, I checked all the pages on firefox problems and still can not solve the problem.

I was able to finally solve the problem, but I had to do a complete reset of firefox. Thank you for your time.

  • I uninstalled and reinstalled and Firefox for windows 7 does not open. There is no error message - it just does not, even in safe mode. What should I do?

My computer is set to the automatic update in Windows 7 Home Premium and Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010. I am also running Norton 360. There was a major update for the office on 10-12-14, which seems to be at the start of my problems. This month, whenever my updates caused a restart, Mozilla has failed to open. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, and it lasted only a day or two before it crashes again. This last time it is still not open. All instructions to solve problems appear to be based on the idea that the program is open and just questions. I can't even open it in Mode without failure.

I tried to reinstall, and it says it will launch automatically when the installation is complete, but it does not work. As Norton scan every download before it works, I am not sure if this is the problem since I never get the window that indicates the setup step by step for Firefox.

    What should I do?

Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. A clean reinstall is not the same as a regular resettlement performed using built-in installer. Please follow these steps:

Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

    1. Download the latest version of Firefox from mozilla.org office (or choose the download for your operating system and language on this page) and save the file to install it on your computer.
    2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (or open the Firefox menu

      Click the close button

      ).

    3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:
      • Windows:

        • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
        • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
    4. Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
      1. Double-click on the downloaded Setup file and go through the steps in the installation wizard.
      2. Once the wizard is completed, click to open Firefox directly after clicking the Finish button.

More information on the resettlement of Firefox can be found here.

WARNING: Do not use an uninstaller to third parties as part of this process. This could permanently delete your Firefox profile data, including but not limited to, extensions, cache, cookies, bookmarks, personal settings and passwords saved. They can be retrieved easily unless they have been backed up on an external device! See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox.

Please report to say if this helped you!

    Thank you.

  • I have a key synchronization, have installed Firefox 28, but it does not recognize my account?

Ok. Firefox has been my main browser on my old laptop, but I ended up having to clean his hard drive a few weeks back.
Before that I erased the hard drive I saved a recovery key. He said not that I needed an account, just the key, that's literally all what I have. I do not have an account in firefox at the time. (Note: I'm sure I didn't have an account at least, because when I searched for an account on Firefox with only two emails that I use, he could not find an account under.)

Now that I'm trying to recover my old data, I read that I must download a pre-29 Fireox version, so I had 28 mobile Firefox, but this shit insists that I need a Firefox account as well as the recovery key to collect the old data. It does not recognize my new account info (that I just did when I downloaded the latest version of Firefox before realizing it wouldn't able to sync), so now I'm here. With a synchronization apparently useless key, an account of unnecessary synchronization and all my old favorites and passwords lost at the age.

I can do, or should I give up?

Yes, the user name (the e-mail address used after that weaving was being abandoned), passwordand recovery key Aka Sync key were all needed in the old version of Sync.

In addition, when you have created the new account of Firefox for the new version of Sync, if you used the same email address your previous sync account was wiped out data during the conversion to the new account from Firefox.

  • Firefox keeps exposing a nag on outdated Flash plugin bar

Recently, Firefox keeps displaying a yellow bar horse informing me that my Flash plugin is obsolete and should be updated. I can't update my flash because I don't have no administrator rights on this PC (but in return, I am not responsible for any damage caused by respective exploits). However my portable Firefox keeps this nag bar display. Checks for all sorts of updates is disabled in the options, but that doesn't seem to cover this check for plugins update (or at less the flash plugin). What can I do?

you are welcome - please note that for version 11.3 of flash, you must copy the two .dll file & the FlashPlayerPlugin_11_3_XXX_XXX.exe (which is used for protected mode adobe) in the folder plugin, otherwise Firefox crashes on pages with flash content.

  • Why Firefox keep insisting that I updated to 5.0 when I have already done many times?

don't know what to say more

It seems that the update was not successful because your list of "More system details" still shows a version of Firefox 4.0.1.

Download a new copy of Firefox and save the file to the desktop.

    • Uninstall your current version of Firefox.
    • Do not remove the data of a personal nature when you uninstall the current version.

Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    • It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.

Your bookmarks and other profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a relocation, but make sure that you do not select delete data of a personal nature if you uninstall Firefox.
