firefox on my toshiba work will prosper?

It is not listed with the rest of the compatible devices

You should be able to find Firefox in the Android market on devices that meet the hardware requirements. If on a Tablet using Firefox beta is better, we have compressed specific UI work which is part of Firefox 9.

  • Why Firefox Sync does not work on my home network, but at work?

Firefox Sync on my laptop does not work when my laptop is connected to my home network, but for example if I'm at my desk.

The internet connection in my house is fine, I can surf the web with this same Firefox on IPv4 and IPv6, DNS etc. also works. Connection to accounts.firefox.com works also, as Firefox for the sync account. Only the synchronization process runs aground. On my desktop at home, I have exactly the same problems. When I open https://sync-209-us-west-2.sync.services.mozilla.com/ in a browser tab, I see a confirmation message that synchronization runs on this server, so apparently the network path between my computer and this server is free.

After investigation with Wireshark, I see the TLS negotiation successfully, then packages the client was able to respond and after some time, the server closes the connection (encrypted alert). Apparently, no content is transferred between the client and the server. I have attached a screenshot of how Wireshark sees the conversation between the server and the client (sending pictures here did not work so I put on the web: http://ibin.co/1zXABHKdj5mA).

To exclude a possible configuration problem or bad module, I created a clean Firefox profile and logged into my account in Firefox, but this shows exactly the same problems.

Fun fact: Firefox on my Android phone will sync on my home network.

Below, I will link two logs, a successful synchronization (corporate network) and a synchronization failed (home network):
    Sync @ Office: http://pastebin.com/rZmfrbdL
    Sync @ home: http://pastebin.com/a3KUCevJ

The problem seems to be with your ISP - you can refer to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1118958 and they may be able to find a workaround by changing your diet or to help you configure a different MTU for the network.

    I hope this helps.

Not the Win64 is not paused. Of course it was not a priority for work on Win64 since he was moved to the level 3 support in December 2012 as Mozilla putting the Win64 on channel every night on hold before then that is where the idea to be paused. There is a main bug report that must be treated with some potential closer to the occurrence of liberation there.

  • My Toshiba Satellite will NOT connect to the WiFi in my house of employers, but connects everywhere else I will!

My Toshiba Satellite WILL NOT connect to WiFi in my house of employers, but connects everywhere else I go; I have Windows XP Home Edition SP3, and there a router Linksys WRT16ON. My network card is an Atheros AR5001X + Wireless Network Adapter (and says "this device is working properly". I tried disabling, entering all information, penetrates is not in the news was unchecking the "Enable IEEE 802. 1 x authentication"(and whenever I go in there, he checked again) changed on 'Open' and 'AES' TKIP, WPA (which is) and the password is correct, restart the router, moved the laptop around (the router was in my room, now it is in the thnxt room and it Me REPEAT JUST : 'Validation of identity' and 'impossible to find a certificate to connect to the network'.) I can connect with ethernet, but not with this new situation of the House, do I have the wireless. WHAT ME MISS? I did this for weeks and even now, it says I'm connected, the signal strength is very good, often great, but Explorer cannot display this webpage. Can someone tell me what to do? Thank you!  Allie

Your old Toshiba equipped with an adapter wireless which is likely to be used for Wireless-a, b, wireless and wireless-g (the project).   Your employer has a newer version (not the last and larger, but much more recent than your equipment) router Linksys that is capable of wireless-b, wireless-g and wireless - n.

Your most likely problem is that your employer has set up his router to "N-only.  Wireless n uses the same radio frequency as wireless-g (this is why detect you the "excellent" signal strength), but uses a different protocol (this is why you can't connect).

Politely ask your employer to change the mode 'network' from the back of the default router of "mixed".

The router manual is here: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/support/routers/WRT160N see p. 13 ' Basic Wireless Settings.

Looking for a certificate message was probably bound to have the box 802.11 x checked.  This box should NOT be checked for home wireless networks.

  • Firefox browser does not work because of "cannot open XPCOM. Someone help? Must keep ALL my favorites!

I can uninstall and reinstall, etc, but I have to keep all my Firefox bookmarks and all files first. I can't lose hundreds of bookmarks! I have not how or where they are, Firefox won't work.

The error message on XPCOM usually occurs due to a Firefox update failure that left you with a mixture of old and update files in the Firefox program folder. This can occur where a security software held a handful of some files in the program folder prevents Firefox Firefox to replace all files. You can do a clean reinstall to ensure that all files are replaced.

Do a clean reinstall of the current version of Firefox and remove the Firefox program folder before installing a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.

    • Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.

Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.

    • (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
    • (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.

Your personal data such as bookmarks are stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose data when you uninstall and reinstall or update Firefox, but be careful NOT to delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.

If you keep problems, and then create a new profile to test whether your profile is at the origin of the problem.

(edit: got a confirmation by PM that this answer solved the problem, so I mark it as the solution)

  • "To view this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (for example, a search or order confirmation) that was carried out earlier."

To view this page, Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (for example, a search or order confirmation) that was carried out earlier. Then I have to click on return or cancel. Then I have to click on return or cancel.

How can I fix this automatically return?
    Please let me know!

    It is not possible.

Do you use the back button to return to a previous page?

You receive an alert to send POST data if you return to a page or refresh a page that was requested in advance from the server by submitting form via a (hidden) MESSAGE form data.
Firefox can only make sure to get the same page send this POST form.
Firefox doesn't know what it means shape data, so Firefox asks for confirmation before sending the form data so action can you take to repeat an action and buy another article or post a message once.
One way to prevent this pop-up on the removal of the POST data is not to use the back button, but to open the links on a page that is requested from a server by sending a form with the date of the POST in a new tab (window) with a middle click or hold down the CTRL key and click the link.
Then you can close the tab or window to go back.

  • Connection to Firefox Sync does not work due to "SecurityError: the operation is not secure.

    Hello everyone,

I wanted to update my Firefox Sync account from the old to the new version. Unfortunately, the login page does not load on my laptop. On my Android devices, everything works fine, so I could already put in place the new account from there, I just can not connect to my new account sync on my laptop. I use Firefox on Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit 33.1.

The subject: represents the loading of the landing page as usual, but by clicking on the button connect does not load the login form, just blank white box. I asked my dear friend Google who gave me some answers (seems to be a common problem...), but none of them helped me.

The debug console displays the error "SecurityError: the operation is not secure" directly after loading on: accounts? action = signin. Opening of https://accounts.firefox.com/signin and https://accounts.firefox.com/signup also results in the same error and an empty box white. https://accounts.Firefox.com/legal/privacy works fine as usual.

I have not found a solution to work around this SecurityError so far.

I found another answer which finally solved my problem! Apparently the subject: in the page accounts raise this error because I configured Firefox always ask before accepting a cookie. https://github.com/Mozilla/FXa-content-server/issues/1857

Even when weird things, but now I have to work around him.

  • The Adobe Flash for Firefox plugin does not work

By the title. The issue arose after a Flash updated. It seems to work fine in Firefox and Chrome, but when I try, let's say, watch a YouTube video in Firefox, it won't work. It is not limited to YouTube, either: the same thing happens with Hulu, as well as the site of nostalgia the criticism, which the videos are hosted by Blip.tv.

I am sure that the problem is not JavaScript or another type of script, because JS seems to work very well - the drop-down list on the YouTube search bar works Wikia support homepage and how it is supposed to correctly, and these are the functions which I run out of JS. The same goes for Sliverlight scripts and all my other script except Flash plugins.

I tried to clear my cache and start a new Firefox profile. I even reinstalled Firefox, but I kept all my profiles when I did it, so I tend to believe that if indeed it is a problem with Firefox and not with the Flash plugin, then it is a problem with one of the profiles.

Yes, there is a kind of interaction between the new Flash 11.3 and Firefox. Check out this new article to support and see if it helps: 11.3 Flash does not load video in Firefox. A little luck?

  • When click the "back" button after filling out web form, I can't, a message says that Firefox must send information that will be rpeat any action... Why can I go back?

My current Firefox is version 9.0.1 update
"when I click on the"back"button after filling web form or make payment online etc, I can't go back to my homepage, if I press the BACK BUTTON (arrow) a message said.
"Firefox must send information that will repeat any action (for example, a search or order confirmation) that was carried out earlier.

I don't want to re - order or repeat the process over. The only thing I can do is to leave Firefox and start again which is very painful.

    Any solution will be appreciated.

Older Firefox had this coming message in case you have used the back to go to a page that is requested from the server with the POST data specific to a form previously sent.

A way to prevent that pop up is not to use the back button, but to open the links on a page that have been requested from a server by sending a MESSAGE form in a new tab (window) with a middle click or a Ctrl + left click.

Then you can close the tab or window to go back.

  • Java does not work in Firefox 4, while it work correctly in Firefox 3.6 which had integrated v. 1.4.1 java but Firefox is not 4. Any suggestiions?

Firefox 4 does not a Java application on my site of brokers. He tells me I have a missing plugin and gives the option to download the plugin. I have try it then it said no appropriate plugins have been found and suggested that I manual install java applet v. 1.4.1. This version of java last used in mac OS 10.4. I use OS 10.6. I note that Firefox 3.6 has this integrated version that allowed him to use the later versions of Apple's Java applets while Firefox 4 does not work.

I found the solution! See the following page: http://www.emanuelis.eu/2010/06/17/how-to-manage-firefox-plugins-in-pluginreg-dat-file/

Just add a new line for x-java-applet with version 1.4.1 (and increase the counter) to your pluginreg.dat. Now I have the TD Ameritrade Command Center running in Firefox!
