Firefox OS 2.0 Nightly Builds available?
Hi everyone, is there any Nightly Builds of Firefox OS 2.0 available yet?
If it isn't, then when?
Thank you!
Hi linuxholic,
Version 2.0 is scheduled to be feature complete (FC) on July 21, 2014 and the full Code (CC) September 1, 2014:
Manufacturers are then responsible to release the updates to the public. However, the code will still have to pass by the manufacturers for testing and customizations before being sent for trade devices.
We hope you find this information useful.
Thank you!!

The Nightly build is so much faster than Firefox, and the download feature is much better than the download feature in Firefox.
The arrow next to the home button will appear in the version of Firefox in Firefox 20. All the features that are in every night thereafter will appear in liberation, when they are ready.

Flash in the last nightly build is not working and causing accidents. Help?
I use an Asus Transformer tf101. I updated today every night and now flash does not work in the program. Once I try to play any flash video, the program crashes and it blocks once or twice more after that before so I can use it again. I deactivated all my plugins and cold booted but in vain.
Another question, that I have, is that it freezes sometimes on the homescreen at startup. This instance occurs usually after that I try to type an address or use a bookmark. The only way I found around her had to press one of the three icons top site first. Does anyone have a solution to this?Edit: I started the previous generation at the moment. It is not as nice as the style of the most recent version, but it plays better than other mobile browsers out there flash video. As a break, jump before or put the video in full screen, the controls are always hit or miss.
This is a known issue with the current nightly builds. We hope she will rule early next week. I don't think Aurora builds are affected by this problem. http://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/mobile/Aurora/

same question, but more in detail...
(1) run Nightly build
(2) close nightly build after surfing for a while
(3) open FF 5.0The FirstRun page as well as my home page fixed
You must have separate profiles for each version, otherwise you will get a "first release" whenever you pass versions when you are using the same profile.
Create a new profile exclusively for every night and create a shortcut on the desktop with Pei 'profile' attached to the target to launch this profile.

I'm just trying to remove every night of my computer. I deleted firefox 10 already. I'm going down to firefox 4, but before I do, I want every night of my computer and it is not listed in the Installer package synaptic or any other. There's a reason I want the old version of firefox, but I won't get into that right now. It is a totally different matter. But I'm pretty new to linux, so please try to give directions or answers in a way that I will be able to understand if possible. Thank you for your time.
10 a 1 of Firefox is an older version (Aurora/Nightly) alpha.
Is this a version that you have installed yourself from the Mozilla server or is this a version from the repositories of Ubuntu?
In the latter case, you will need to use the installation and remove the item from your Linux distribution software.
If you have installed Firefox yourself, then you can simply delete the Firefox installation directory.
You can find the latest version of Firefox in all languages and for all systems operating here:

Firefox Nightly build 30.0a1 warn me when closing window with tabs
When I close my window I do not get the option 'Save and exit', not even a window warning me. I liked this option because I was able to decide whether or not I wanted to keep the current group of tabs open.
It turns out that I had to put the "when starts every night" affecting something other that "show my windows and tabs from last time '. Sorry about that.

All stated above
I see that Madperson has already edited the message.
I just tried it with my party and it's easy to reset using about: config.
- Key in the address bar Subject: config and press return
- accept any warning that may occur
- It lists all your preferences, use the filter to narrow down the list
- looking for browser.tabs.on.Top preference should be prexisting and will have the value true false
- Right click and toggle the value of false and true as needed

How to take screenshot on Firefox OS 3.0 nightly?
I've updated my Firefox OS 2.0 to 3.0 nightly. After updating, I am unable to take screenshots with my camera. My camera is t2mobile flame. How can I take screenshots with it? Please help me.
Hi Raiyad Raad,
The key combination to take a screenshot should be always the same:
- Press and hold the POWER key and the VOLUME DOWN key simultaneously
Try holding it a little longer. A second or two should be sufficient to take a screenshot. =)

When a patch for Norton and Firefox 30,00 toolbar will be available.
30 version is incompatible with the Norton toolbar. When a patch will be available?
Norton has an update for Firefox 30.0 since Firefox 30.0 was released June 10.
As you can see in http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-30-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/1142568
The Norton toolbar must be updated for each new major Firefox .exe version and Norton has done that in a day since Firefox 5.0

I am running Firefox on Windows 7 26. Last Windows necessary to make some updates to safety, the night I closed Firefox I normally do it, use the tab out and let windows to go forward with its updates. This morning I found that Firefox has been removed. I tried to find out that my last night sessionstore.js file still exists and it does. When Firefox came all my tabs have disappeared, also my favorites, modules, etc. I clicked on "restore previous session", but nothing happens. I have a file of last night bookmarks in the bookmarks folder, and the file sessionstore.js is dated last night when I closed Firefox in a normal manner. I'm puzzled. Firefox didn't fail, I closed it as I always do before that I have authorized Microsoft Windows Update and restart. Who am I lack/hurt? I leave this open session so that I can continue to have access to this file sessionstore, as I have it copied in a folder that I use for this kind of disaster. This windows necessary also deleted my MailWasher Pro program update, changed how the Windows Explorer and more 'fun '. Thank you, Microsoft. It is barely possible that I can recreate my tabs and it would be extremely aggravating, but I have no way to re-create all my favorites. I need help.
Hello
If you have not closed since the last time that you can type in "subject: sessionrestore ' on the page and there should be a list of tabs from last time. If this consistantly come please see the history on open gint settin settingandFirefox > General Options-> view my tabs from last time
Privacy > historyHave these options will prevent tabs away, after the browser is closed.
Please let me know if this does not resolve the question of restoration session being closed. We can help if it is touched by a plug-in by starting the browser in safe mode.

Firefox 25 advises an update is available, then said "up to date".
1 at - there a way to set the number of search results per page? Do not see in the acct settings.
Too few results / page and takes too long to get from pg to pg. I don't have a dial-up more. :)This is the 1st time I have ever seen this. Update tells me that FX 25.0.1 is available. Then, when do a "manual update" now, he immediately returns "Firefox is updated." But it's not.
Yes, I can d/l the complete installation program. I can dig a trench for pipeline w / a teaspoon, but I won't. Is this a problem that came in 25 v? Update 24 25.o worked very well for me.
Thank you.
Hello, there is time to stop planned for the update server and other services for the maintenance for the next hours - Meanwhile you can download the new version manually from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
regarding your first question, it would of course depend on what search site, you are now, but in any case you might want to refer to the help section to get an answer for her...

I currently have Firefox 4.0.1.
Record of the tabs was not removed from Firefox 4, but it works a little differently.
- By default, Firefox 4 will not ask to save tabs, but instead, it will automatically save your tabs on the output unless you're in private browsing mode. You can restore the next time by:
- by clicking on the Firefox button > history > "restore previous Session ', or
- type of Subject: House in the URL bar and press the Enter key, then press the button "restore previous Session."
- See: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox%20does%20not%20ask%20to%20save%20tabs%20and%20windows%20on%20exit
- Note: This was a decision by the developers. On this forum, we are all volunteers without compensation here to help other users. Develop them and employees of Mozilla/Firefox rarely, if ever visit here.
To display the message "save tabs and exit" when closing multiple tabs, you can do the following:
- Type of topic: config in the URL/address bar and press the Enter key
- Accept the warning message (promise to be careful)
- Open the preferences/list page
- Filter = browser.tabs.warnOnClose
- If its value is set to false, double-click top (in the lower panel) to toggle its value to true
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the 3 following preferences also:
- browser.warnOnQuit
- browser.warnOnRestart
- browser.showQuitWarning
- Note: last pref is new in Firefox 4 b 12, may need to add (boolean)
- Info/instructions for the use of topic: config: http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config
- See:
Things to check if the tabs are not saved:

I want the current configuration of Firefox and watch returned to build 28.0 as default
I am currently using Firefox 32.0.3 now on my Windows XP machine and I hate the look, and it is difficult to navigate in the customization of the thing. It took fifteen minutes to configure even approaching resembling what I used to have. Even with the classic theme restaurateur, it's horrible. Firefox will be able to restore the appearance of 28.0? I would appreciate it if the next update returned to the classic settings and the default appearance. The only reason why I've updated has been due to supposed vulnerabilities in 28.0, otherwise I would never have updated. And as it is, I seriously think his return to 28.0 as it is, because only honest to God, I can't stand this thing. I would like to have a screenshot how he uses to get to show what he looks like now by comparison.
