Firefox regularly (every 8 to 15 seconds) freezes for 1-3 (in seconds) after a half hour of work
Firefox crashes on a regular basis (every 8 to 15 seconds) for 1 to 3 seconds after half an hour of work. I freshly installed my windows and firefox (without extensions), but the hook has yet occurred. Don't know how to solve this problem. Maybe it's a memory problem? (I have 4 GB of RAM, which should be enough). When it crashes, it leaves to scroll through, write or do something else, but if I try to do, he says, but after a few seconds. This happens regularly, it's very annoying, especially when it crashes looking at youtube - video stops, turn on audio and a video catches up with a video after a few seconds. Thank you very much for the help.

Qosmio F50-125 freezes for 2 seconds every 10 minutes
Hello.
On 15 may, I noticed that my laptop freezes for 2-3 seconds every 10 minutes.
I use the original Windows Vista 32 bit.I remember my firewall (Comodo) program update and Toshiba TEMPRO that day.
I tried to restore the system to the State on May 7, but the problem persists. Is anyone else experienced this problem?
Thank you.
Hello!
What happens if you try to uninstall the firewall that you have updated? In my view, this could be the reason of this problem because with the new TEMPRO version, I have very good experience and it s faster than the old version.
Then uninstall the firewall and use CCleaner to clean the system. Maybe that's market and then you must use another firewall (Windows Firewall for example).
Good bye

Original title: OS time questions continuum (microfeezes)
It seems that my computer freezes for a split second every 3 seconds approximately. My cursor disappears for a split second, and because the clock freezes and restarts, it displays a worst time of the day. Audio and video have the same gel splitsecond. The problem persists in safe mode. Dell Inspiron 1520, servicepack2 of vista running. I've never had any problems with this machine. Here's a video I took of the number: http://youtu.be/fbUeK8U7wHw
I would like to know if there is other info/specifications that could be useful.
Thank you.
Good,
1:
Updated the chipset drivers even though it said I was with the best.2:
Run a SFC scan, which revealed no violations of integrity or files not repaired.3:
five hours and 8 infected files later, my computer is totally cleaned.I opened the event viewer, but I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for. There are many changes to the machine because it began to act up, which were intended to correct the problem. I installed the Service Pack 1, then 2, scan MS Safety and new chipset.
I also ran a memory diagnostic, but all was well.
What should I look for in the event viewer? I know that the problem started in a 12 hour window. Should I save and post the logs at the time?
There is a certain mystery. We need Sherlock Holmes.
-UPDATE
I have reset the system to its factory settings. Now, it's as if it were new.
The problem persists. He still hiccupping. It freezes again for a few milliseconds about once per second. And I'm going crazy.
UPDATE 2-
The computer was closed for about 12 hours and when it restarted and Windows initialization complete, the problem disappeared. It works normally for a vintage computer 2007. I'll let you know if I learn more.

Windows freezes for 5 to 10 seconds every few minutes.
After the upgrade to Win 8.1, I had some experiences with my computer freezing for 5 to 10 seconds every few minutes. Music continues to play, the cursor keeps blinking (although sometimes it freezes too) and the mouse can be moved, but try typing don't work and try to close, open, move or otherwise interact with the programs (applications office and modern) fails. Then, at the end of the gel in short, everything what has been done during freezing happens everything both. Restart breeze the trend until it starts again (sometimes hours later, other time days).
It seems to be overheating problems and SFC came clean the problem only arose recently (well that before, it happened sometimes with IE only but who stopped). I'm not running 3rd party antivirus and Defender is coming clean, and so have free McAfee scan.
My computer is a Dell XPS 1520 running Windows 8.1 update update 1.
One last note, the problem seems to occur sometimes when I use Windows built-in backup of the file system. I can't actually think any time it all started when I was not hung on the backup media, even if it persists after the disconnection. I used three different types of backup media, so I don't know if one of the drives is the cause, but I will deal with that now.

Please make sure that firefox.exe, plugin - container.exe and FlashPlayerPlugin_*.exe are not blocked or sandbox sort by your security or software in the case where it doesn't work or try to change your provider AV (I would recommend microsoft security essential, it is quite reliable and light) or downgrade to flash version 10.3.

For example, while I am typing my computer freezes for a few seconds and I can't type or will not move the mouse. This lasts a few seconds but then starts to work again ok. This happens on every 10 minutes or so... enough to get on my nerves, especially at the time of the school. How can I fix? I also get a pop-up whenever I go to a new page. How can I stop this as well? I'd be so grateful for any help on this matter.
Thanks, Elsie
Hello
What the popup say or lead?
Search for malware, and then run the cleaning as described below.

Firefox crashes every time you start
First of all, I was able to open Firefox and it crashed after a few minutes. When I tried again, the same has happened. I could start Firefox in safe mode. Now, not even that works. When I run Firefox, the screen goes black and the computer freezes for a second. When I click with the mouse, it opens a window which tells me that Firefox is not responding, so I shut. This happens in safe mode, too.
I checked after a computer virus, but there are not. Also I have updated everything (except Firefox, because I can not open it and did not update an option), but nothing.Your accident report is https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/70c7e7fc-663e-4001-9105-9f1732120808 and links to related bugs.
This looks like a problem that occurs when you set as your homepage in Firefox Google. Try to start Firefox Safe mode again (hold down the SHIFT key while starting Firefox). If you can get it to boot, change your homepage to something else than Google or reset the default home page (subject: House)-see How to set the home page.

Firefox crashes on opening a few seconds. That started everything suddenly a few weeks ago, and despite several attempts to every day, I still cannot load firefox application. It crashes immediately on startup every time anything and journalist accident happens. I studied all the articles and followed their suggestions. I installed the latest version of firefox and still get the same results. I can't even open firefox in safe mode.
Heather, not sure I can help, I'm not a Mac user, but I'll have a look at the crashIDs that you provided.
Update:
- Crash report ID: [6326058f-1fca-4d4d-a080-af8902120119]
- signature: TFont::CreateFontEntitiesForFile (const char *, bool, TSimpleArray < TFont * > &, bool, short, char const *)
- Crash report ID: [69534b6f-7662-4c09-bf2e-39fff2120104] signature as above
There are very few reports recent crash with this signature, they could even be your plant. If you follow the suggestions in the article I linked above there is not much that can be done easily. You should try discount the possibility that the cause is malware by scanning with several updated tools.
Malware controls
Have you seen and followed the advice- Fix Firefox problems caused by malicious software

Clean reinstall it
If you find no malware, it can be interesting to try a new re - install and a clean profile, none of them are simple and must be done with care, so first try malware scans, those who will take a while to sort.Rather a last resort: fill out a bug report

Windows 7.
This happens on all websites that uses a file entry box to download images/files.
I click on Browse.
Select a file, and then click "Open" in the file browser window.
Then, firefox seems to hang or take a break for what it is between 5 to 12 seconds, after this time, the name of the file appears in the file input field - you cannot interact with the browser at all during this time.
Can be reproduced every time i run firefox - does not happen in IE or another browser on that machine.
Can you check this problem on Firefox 9?

Firefox crashes every 10 minutes. Looks like it's day or something
I use Firefox version 6 and Windows 7.
Every 10-15 minutes I need a break using firefox because it crashes, I can't use for about 40 seconds, because it seems that day or do something else.
I already tried to use firefox without open other programs, with Add ons disabled in safe mode and I saw a post from someone complaints on this issue and this person suggested to allow firefox on windows firewall, I did this too but the problem persists.
I suspect that some update is the cause because this behavior has started to happen a few days ago, but I don't know where are updates or how to find them.
I use the default theme of firefox and a couple of web developer Add ons.
Anyone knows what the problem is or how can I fix?
I'd appreciate any help, thank you.Hi, I had exactly the same problem for a few weeks now, but I think I found a solution...
Delete places.sqlite (located in the folder profiles). I don't know why it works, I guess that the file has been corrupted or something. You get rid of your browsing history and create a new version of the file automatically.

Windows 7 64 - bit SP1 apparently random freezes for about 30 to 60 seconds
Other users of the computer,
I am using windows 7 64 bit home edition premium for a few months now. I have a problem in which windows seems to freeze. It can happen anywhere from 4 or 5 times the time to 'only' once every two hours. I can move the cursor, but I can not click on windows, use alt - tab and so on. Usually, this will last between 30 and 60 seconds, after which everything returns to normal. It seems no matter what I do when this happens. During navigation, games, Assembly, etc... The gadget from windows performance tells me the cpu is about 1-5% and the RAM is not at maximum. I tried to:-set the system to high performance. HDD sleep disabled. Hybernation and disabled sleepran-a cleanboot. Problem has happened yet (playing Battlefield 3)-a run the File Checker system windows using an elevated command prompt. No problem there.-checked all (1 SSD and HDD 2) drives for issues with checkdisk and SeaTool. No problem found.-checked for malware malwarebytes with MSE. No problem there.-uninstalled VLC player I saw a dozen of entries "reconfigure" in the form of reliability of windows (or whatever it's called)-disabled Aero icon composite (?) Use the Dutch version so I'm not sure of what his English in)-turned off refresh of wallpaper-order stickynotes (as I came across something where the viewer in which he said he could not access)-closed sidebar and practically another program that was underway..... and still the problem occurs. I don't have this problem under Vista 32 bit but I must say I have updated my graphics card and added the SSD at about the same time, I decided to move to W7 64-bit.These days I kept a journal when it happens. When I cross check these with the event viewer I get a few events 4624, 4672 and 7036, which stand out. They do not seem to take into account all issues well. Some system info:Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bitIntel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83 GHz4 GB of RamMSI GTX 560 Ti1 x OCZ agility SSD 32 x WDC 1 TB SATA HDDAny help would be GREATLY appreciated as I don't know where to look for more. Once again, thank you for reading!Best regardsRomboutI spent a lot of time to check all components in my configuration. From the bios, cables on memory, software and so on. It turned out to be the ocz vertex 3 ssd which was the question. I made an update of the firmware, secure erase, and all I could do with the help of assistance from ocz with no sollution. I'm the DSS to return this week and exchange it for one ssd intel. Check the forums to ocz for your type of ssd n additional info to see what you could try. If not, return it immediately.

Several times 'Photoshop CC' is freezes for 2 to 10 seconds only for simple commands.
My problem is simple.
I bought a laptop Lenovo G700;
Windows 8.1
Processor: Intel Core i7 - 3236QM 2.2 GHz (more powerful than an Intel I5 2500 K)
I added memory, 8 GB of ram for a total of 12 GB.
Hard drive: I changed the hard drive for an SSD 128 GB and I put the hard drive in a "basket of the HD. Total 128 GB + 500 GB
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 720 M 2 GB (3-5 x more than porwerful Intel HD IGP 4000)
Several times 'Photoshop CC' freezes for 2 to 10 seconds only to move a layer, right-click on a layer, move into the browser, active / deactivate a layer in a project of 3 layers of 1024 x 1024 and other simple controls. After the small gel Photoshop running fine for 10 minutes after a little gel... good race, freeze... blablabla...
The problem is common on my laptop and I can't explain why my workstation I don't have this problem.
I have around the same material... 8.1 for Windows, Intel I7 2600 k, 16 GB ram, AMD Radeon HD 7950, SSD 128 GB + 640 GB HDD
5 freeze on average for 30 minutes of use...
I don't know if this problem is due to files hosted on my workstation.
The fact that my file is hosted on my Tower and the network is slow (slow loading / save the file) it can caused freezes when Photoshop try save a backup file recovery every 10 minutes?
Your graphics driver is likely incompatible or misconfigured. To update and configure proiperly or disable the OpenGL option in the preferences.
