  • Firefox saved the most version of bookmarks after reset

Having had the endless problems with Firefox and Adobe Flash wave breaking, unresponsive plugins and scripts, I took a leap of faith and 'reset' Firefox just now. My hesitation is that the last time I have reset Firefox, all my favorites have disappeared. I have found after much research, but I don't understand why Firefox would move out to them first, making it necessary for me to mess with the old profile and create a new one.

In any case, after that reset my favorites has not disappeared, but they are an older "version" of the current bookmarks: I don't want bookmarks themselves are an older version, but those I had added to specific folders before resetting Firefox this time are back in the folder that I had moved in origin. There are bookmarks, I deleted now appear again. And the bookmarks that I added recently are not there.

Firefox said on the restoration: "refresh solves many problems by restoring Firefox to its default state upon REGISTRATION of your information like bookmarks, passwords and open tabs."

My Favorites are very important for my work and I'm adding, deleting and moving them frequently - Firefox sets a waiting - no disclaimers or warnings - it does not.

I guess that there is a suggestion to find my recent-now-old profile and create a new one, etc. * and I'll need the exact instructions for this *.

And besides, problems with Firefox and Adobe Flash Wave crashing, unresponsive plugins and scripts that I was trying to solve with a restart of Firefox are still indeed, after that I tried everything suggested on Firefox and elsewhere to solve the problem. I need to go back to IE.

It is possible that bookmarks has been restored from an older backup of JSON.
This could happen if you had done any recent changes, and you have not restarted Firefox or there is already a backup created.
In this case, you will need to get the file places.sqlite.

Alternatively, you can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • How to get the Favorites after resetting my computer? firefox saved on the external hard drive folder

I had to reset my computer because I downloaded a sort of hidden adware that downloads new adware permanently, which makes my computer unusable. Adware ill-conceived, lol.

I saved the folder of firefox mozilla whole folder of files (x 86) programs on an external hard drive. I thought that if I just copied this file on the computer, my favorites would be sympathetic to it. all the Favorites are gone.

bookmarks are not stored in the folder of firefox? is it possible to recover? It's worth years of bookmarks I need for work.

any help is greatly appreciated, thank you. I tried the suggestions that others had offered for similar problems.

Your Firefox personal data is not stored in the Firefox program folder, but are stored in the Firefox profile folder that is located in the AppData\Roaming\ folder.

    • C:\Users\ < user > < profile > \AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

If you do not save this profile folder then your bookmarks and other personal data is lost.

There is a short bar that has appeared on the lower line of the header, as well as an ixquick search box which is also new. How to dispose of Delta & ixquick and get the Awesome bar back? • Open this window via the taskbar to set the focus to it.
    • Open the system menu via Alt + space and see if you can resize the window.

If it works then close Firefox (file > exit/Quit) to save the setting.

  • Presets saved file disappear!

In 2015 CC PS I build a major project involving a large number (500 +) of collages with multiple pictures and text on each page. I have set up a standard background file (A3 landscape), which I saved as a preset. The route that I used is File > New > (fill in the details, size, background color, resolution etc. including naming the preset) > save the preset. How to reopen this page/file pre-defined, as he disappeared completely? I did it several times with the same result. Even a search of my entire hard drive fails to find it!

It's a pain that I have to reset all the background details page whenever I want to generate a new page on which I can drag the images (of the bridge) to form the collage page.

I'm likely to be dim but can someone help me?

    Hi FWG99,

Please try to reset the preferences of the PS, but please first make sure that you create a back up of all your preferences

To restore preferences quickly by using a keyboard shortcut: press and hold Alt + Ctrl + Shift (Windows) or Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. New preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.
