Firefox started running slow after the removal of my story. I tried to reinstall a new profile, and finally a new installed Windows. Now, I have the same problem

I have tried everything I can think of, even to reinstall windows to correct the problem. Nothing solves the problem. It all started after clearing the cache of the browser. Text appears at least 15 seconds after I start typing, pages take a long time to load, if I click on something, it takes 15 seconds to show any response. If Firefox is on the screen, the mouse moves more slowly. Everything worked perfectly right, until I deleted the browser cache. Anyone have any ideas?

You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

  • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
  • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

  • Computer running slow after the removal of McAfee.

A few months ago, I removed McAfee from my computer (windows vista). • Firefox started running slow about 3 Mbit/s on the same machine that is running to about 6 Mbps, reinstalled firefox twice, but no improvement.

I have a mini-tower with windows OS computer using the Firefox browser, it started to run slowly, 3Mbps, while on the same machine using for example the download speed is about 6 Mbps, which is what I used to get with Firefox. Oddly enough, I have another machine a net book with Linux OS and Firefox browser and who always gets a good speed to about 6 Mbps, which seems to point to the windows version of Firefox being the problem. I tried twice to reinstall Firefox, but there is no improvement, recently, there has been a couple of updates for Firefox and would like to know is possible to go back to an older version to see if that solves the problem.

I was so sure that I could be that the problem was with the combination of f-secure, windows vista and Firefox. The O.S. I can not change, Firefox I won't change if f-secure has drawn the short straw. Fortunately, I don't have a long contract with f-secure, I so uninstalled and moved, replacement works very well, too short life.

  • Computer with the best care runs slower with the same VI

We just build new computers to run our labview acquisition program. However, the new computers are running much slower than the 'old' software. The new computers are Intel (Core i7) clocked at 2.66 GHz with 2 GB of DDR3 1333 MHz ram, while old computers are Dell Dimension 9150 Pentium D 2.8 GHz processors with 1 GB 667 MHz ram. Two computers use a PCI-6711, 6052 for acquisition of data and National Instruments. The decrease in speed is particularly evident during the acquisition of data (for both saved and unsaved data). Any ideas why our newest computer to run a slower program?

    Thank you.

Apparently, this is a problem with multi-threading. NOR has a multi-threading manual in the labview library.

  • Computer suddenly starts running slow

    Hi all

    More computer problems - yay.

I can boot my computer without problem. For about 2 minutes, it works perfectly - things open fast, close quickly, etc.

Then all of a sudden, the whole system just slows down. All that I'm starting to take forever - the same computer hangs when I click on the start menu. Freezes completely, just for like 5, 10 seconds. But it happens every time, making it incredibly long to open anything (5 minutes for opening google chrome page.)

I have a MSI motherboard with AMD drivers.

I noticed that during the freeze, the computer disconnects from the internet (connected with an ethernet cable), raise above the symbol of the internet's yellow warning triangle.

I start the computer in safe mode, fiddling around with a number of things when I got a warning window stating that I don't have an AMD graphics driver or that its does not work properly. This thread, I think it might be the drivers I installed using an MSI/AMD disc that came with the computer, so I installed them again using the disc, but no difference.

System Restore does not work, I restored the closest point possible without success.

Oh, I do not update windows, I had previous problems with windows after updates, so I cut them. This could it be? I'm not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • You Tube is not playing video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after the last update

You Tube and other sites do not play video on Firefox with Adobe Flash after the last update for both. Adobe Flash works on other sites but not You tube and sites that can have embedded videos from You Tube, I'm not sure.

Adobe Flash not crushed and no error message is visible. All that shows is a black screen for Flash video. Make a right click of the screen shows only a non-interactive 'a film has not loaded' and the clickable link to the home page of Adobe.

I have no other info but if I had a form any entry and queries you I might be able to provide more.

Weird. I have no idea why it does that. Your list of details of the system shows that 13.0.r0 Flash.

About the .Js I cannot find a User.JS in the profile folder but ther is a user.bk and other files that have.json. Should I do anything with these?

If you don't, that's okay. Leave all of the files.

Does disabling HA in Flash and Firefox work better for you now or even not playing it?

Make sure your firewall is not something Firefox blocks.

This happens in other browsers as well?

The site appears your version of Flash player and your operating system?
