Firefox tries to connect to broadband when I am already connected to the wifi at home. How can I disable this repeated attempt.

I start my laptop and connect to my home wifi network. When I use Firefox and am on msn.com or Yahoo.com, a window opens for a connection to broadband, and it prevents the computer from going to a link or another site, unless I cancel this popup. It happens regularly while I use Firefox to access Web sites.

Please provide a screenshot of this "popup for a broadband connection.
