  The plugin for Firefox is called Shockwave Flash and the latest version is 17.0.0.188

  When it installs, Flash by default to update automatically, but if you need to manually update, you can use one of these pages:

  Yes. This should not be a problem.

  First of all, look for the updates. Check the support site for the program.

  My site was working fine up until firefox updated 34.0.5. Now the images will not scale to fit the box more. I use flexbox so that the site is changing to adapt to the size of the browser.   I work by setting a special parameter in CSS for the images that I needed to scale and then I have it referenced by SPAN for each img in HTML, not quite how I wanted it to work since now images filling the box even with monitors really big format, which means that they could now be blurred on a 4 k monitor but firefox left me no choice.   2. Trash , install the current application of Firefox to do a cleaning.

  3. install the version you downloaded.

  You may have seen this article during the process to submit your question, but just in case:

  Are you familiar with Windows Task Manager? It allows to determine whether Firefox is present in memory and to cease so that you can try to start again.

  To access the Task Manager, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc. You will need to approve the program to make changes to your system. The 'Applications' tab usually has an entry for every visible window. I guess that Firefox will not be there, but if it is and you do not see the window, it's a different problem.

  Firefox should have updated to Firefox 28.0 today so now you are on the correct version.

  Unless you were on the beta channel you should already have been on Fx27.x

  Wow... I finally have the solution. Windows updates have been applied at the same time I updated Firefox. Bluetooth driver is what broke (which is part of the Centrino wireless). I ended up installing the latest driver from Intel, Windows Update, and then update Firefox... and all is well.

  Hello, when there is an older version on the dashboard next to the version currently installed it is usually only one entry of rest that does not get removed correctly (the former firefox program will be not present on your hard drive any longer). If you choose to uninstall the old writing, it will probably remove the current version of your hard drive instead.   You can drag links to the private browsing window (hover the icon on the task bar for this update of the Firefox window).
  
  If you drop the link on an empty space on the tab bar, then the link should open in a new tab.
