Firefox won't launch and causes computer freeze.

Last week, Firefox has refused to run and, when such an attempt is made, my computer crashes.

More specifically, when I click on the icon to launch the program, my mouse pointer turns into a small blue circle, indicating that the program is loading, and my drive indicator light turns on. After a few seconds, my mouse pointer returns to normal, the hard drive light darkens, and I can't access all the programs, launch new Manager access to tasks or access the Start button. My only alternative is to turn the power off, and then restart the computer.

This happens if I use the shortcut in the taskbar or navigate to the exe file and try to run from there.

This occurs when you try to start Firefox in Mode without failure.

This happens when loading Vista regularly and when it starts in Mode safe mode with networking.

A scan of Malware Antibytes comes back clean, as an analysis online of TrendMicro and one from OfficeDepot (I think to pay $149 to have this problem).

Can anyone help? I much prefer FF to IE, which I'm usin now, but I may have to switch to Chrome.

  • roar of hard disk and the computer freezes for a few seconds

My hard drive makes a sound whirring for a few weeks now and when I type in emails or messages like this, the computer freezes for a few seconds. Any ideas how to fix this?

A desktop computer. Your problem could be overheating.

You must remove the side panel right and remove dirt dust bunnies fans. Also, make sure that all the fans are working. Safety switch the computer off and pull the power cable before removing the side panel. You can then move the computer backon and check that the fans are working.

Then, turn off the computer and some time for that cool. It is best to use a wrist band, which you set on the casing of the computer to you the earth before touching anything inside the envelope. You can buy one in a store of computer accessories. Static electricity can damage a motherboard if you don't take precautions.

Then, you use a small brush to remove the sheep of dust around the fan on the processor. I used an electric razor, cleaning brush. I use an Air blower to clean the power supply fan. An air Duster is also useful fopr cleaning keyboards.

Removal of the dust bunnies should reduce the noise that makes your computer. It can also reduce overheating, which can lead to errors of Blue Screen of Death.

Another way to check the hard disk to see if it is overheating is to use HD Tune 2.55 (free):

  • Slow and random computer freezing

Rescently started having random gel on my computer. It started shortly after I had an outbreak of the virus on my computer. Now, after much work I cleaned it it through multiple anti-virus and anti-virus, anti-malware scans and other similar things having some expertise to help a friend.

But shortly after my computer starts to become slow.  On the photo below you can see my hardware running Windows 7.

What usually causes a gel starts a program such as Chrome that it freezes for a second, while chromium is completely white before the load in.

At the start of League of Legends my computer can freeze up to 50 seconds and I can't do anything what so ever with her. I can't move my mouse and without keyboard shortcuts, such as ctrl + alt + delete function. It is usually the case for most that I run on my PC.

Spotify has also started having massive memory leaks and uses more then 2 x as much as he used too, and for a short time while having the windows Task Manager, I could see that chrome has been using 80% of my CPU. Every once in a while when I tap on a type of chat software that I can type what I want and watch how 1 letter out all the 1 second on my cause of screen of the massive lagg I also get.

I tried to reinstall all these programs without success and run CCleaner and Windows fixit and scan on a regular basis my computer against viruses and malware, but they continue to flock to the top with nothing.

  • Restart of Windows 7 and the computer freezes at the STATION

Hey guys, I have a very big problem with Windows 7 on my computer. I tried so hard to have Windows 7 installed on my computer, and literally nothing I do works. I'll also post plug at the bottom of this post for reference. This can be a little long, so please try to stick with me. This is a race to the bottom of the problems I encounter.

I can install Windows 7 very well on my computer. I follow the methods that the manual of my motherboard has perfectly and I can get the OS installed and the user is set up, then it takes me to the desktop computer, but right after that, the computer goes through the shutdown process as soon as I click on what it is. I can not click File Explorer, internet Explorer, insert my drivers disk, or do anything at all without the computer go to auto restart. Then when it restarts, the computer completely to the Asus POST screen freezes and I can't do anything. I can't even start the BIOS menu. The only thing I've found that gets the computer not frozen, is:

-cut the power to the computer

    -disconnect the hard drive

-re - turn on the computer

-Turn off the computer and turn off the power

    -reconnect the hard drive

Then only will start the computer again as usual. But as soon as the computer starts Windows 7 and takes me on the desk, the whole process starts all over and I'm caught in this issue of perpetual restart. I have all the drivers installed at all because I can't even get there. Is there anything to solve this problem? I am very frustrated with this issue and all what I am looking for doesn't help at all. Will you please share your knowledge if you have something that will solve this problem, because it might help someone else too.

    Here are my specs:

    Intel i7 6700 k 4.0 ghz

    NVIDIA GTX 1070 8 GB

    16 GB ddr4 ram

    ASUS z170-a

    power supply 750W

240 GB SSD (with 10 Windows installed)

hard drive 1 TB (with Windows 7 installed on it)

Final note: I'm trying to dual boot Windows 7 and Windows 10. Windows 10 works well on my computer, but I have problems with some games on that nobody seems to be able to explain or have a solution for. Research is getting me nowhere as well on this issue. I'm not too worried about this issue right now, but can ask for help on this subject later. As for right now, I just need help for this problem in Windows 7. Any help is appreciated

    Thank you

    Devon

EDIT: I managed to solve the problem of crash.

    Hello Devon,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

We suggest that you use the hard 1 TB with your Windows 7 and divide the 1 TB into two partitions. Afterwards, you can try to re - install each operating system on each partition.

Refer to this Wiki Article on how to dual boot Windows 7 and Windows 10.

We know the result of the question. We will be happy to help you further!

  • How to upgrade to Windows 7 and the computer freezes when I go to print

original title: several questions in fact

    I have 2 questions

    (1) my son bought a Sony NS Series Notebook for me. It came with a promise that I could upgrade to Windows 7. He tried to update several times and it didn't work. I know little about computers and so I accepted his answer that the Vista operating system is also good. Now I feel all sorts of problems and I told me time and again that it would be better to have windows 7. Any who tried to get the manufacturer to update after the date specified in them?

    (2) my son helped connect me to 2 different printers depending on what I need to print. Now, the computer crashes when I go to print. Any advice?

    Thank you in advance.
    Krystyna

    (1) depending on your laptop model and the day when you pruchase, you might be able to take advantage of Windows 7 update, for more information I suggest the Sony site for Windows 7 upgrade:

    http://eSupport.Sony.com/us/Perl/os7upgrade.pl

Or you can contact the Sony customer for more details

    (2) for printer, the issue can be due to configuration or other reasons, I suggest to update your Windows and make sure printer drivers installed and also try to run:

When running deep scan Windows Defender/Avast free Av / Malwarebytes programs and any computer freezes when the analysis reaches the following file:

    C:\\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\prnep001.inf_f0a9a372\I386\EPNDDE4P. DAT

What is this file and how can I solve this problem?

    Hi quazi_albany,

This seems to be a driver file printer Inbox for epson printers.

    Method 1:

You try to run a SFC scan to check all corrupted files.

You can read the following article to launch the SFC scan:

How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the system files missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

    Method 2:

You can also try to run a scan using Microsoft Security Essentials.

  • RAM fills and the computer crashes, the rendering stops

When I made video, works some time and memory starts to become soiled and the computer freezes.

OK... do a new project and import this clip problem ONLY... and try to export as. If it crashes, I would suggest transcoding which clip to another codec, probably Cineform 10-bit YUV, which would keep all the original quality and although larger, would probably be much easier on your platform to manage as the less compression and construction of compression take far less work to manage CPU.

If the video works perfectly in the new project, there is something in the old project on this clip... somewhere in the cache, multimedia database files or even the file of the project, which is corrupt. Then, rebuild your project into a new project. Import goods and operate on it. Best wishes!
