  It would have been my first approach as well. The option "Always use the selected program to open this type of file" in the important symptom here is disabled open with... Choose default program... dialog box. You will need to check and possibly modify a couple registry settings for this option. Here are the user settings. Look down to the global settings.

  Method 1

  Click Start or press the Windows key and type or paste in cmd , but do not hit . Search for cmd in the list above and right-click and select run as administrator. Make sure that the quick edit mode (ALT +Properties, Options tab, change the Options, the Quick Edit Mode) and use ALT +E, P to paste this in:

  Firstly for the current user,

  REG ADD HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer /v NoFileAssociate /t REG_DWORD /d 0

  Then to make the scale, the system

  REG ADD HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer /v NoFileAssociate /t REG_DWORD /d 0

  You may need to change the value. Press Y. You can close windows once you see the operation ended successfully.

  If you want to change the password in Windows Vista, follow these steps:

  -Click on Start and go to control panel.
  -Click user accounts and family safety.
  This link is not available using the classic view of the control panel.
  If you use the classic view just do a double-click on the icon user accounts.
  -Click the link for user accounts.
  -In the area called to make changes to your user account, click on the change your password link.
  -In the first text box, enter your current password.
  -In the other two text boxes to enter the password you want to use.
  -Finally click on the button of past change and to confirm the changes.
  -Close the window user accounts.
  -Now your Windows Vista logon password has been changed

  By the way; you need ADMIN rights to change this.

  I recently bought a new computer and downloaded FireFox. When you add my favorite sites to my bookmark, the names are added automatically. They are too long, and I want to change them, but FF is not letting me do a right click to change the name.
