Firewall Windows disable the Internet Explorer loads Up after slow start after the installation of Windows updates
Hello, (this the mystery of on and Off and back on Windows Firewall with slow loading of programs like Internet Explorer as this all is pass it on firewall, disable the firewall, the firewall, it occurs only during starts, after he fine / but very annoying on reboots whom he accuses of my computer down) / listed below is the cause of it , and when she first started, you have a solution?
I recently installed the last 16 (High Profile) updates to security, for most security updates and updates from net framework as well as the removal of malware for windows XP tool.
After installing these updates, now my Windows Firewall turns off during 'Boot Up' on all restarts. If I try to load Internet Explorer, it will also not load up to minutes serveral / while this happens... That's fine, then finally my firewall itself loads Up quickly turns to Internet Explorer and back on during this time around the same time.
After these updates these things are happening on my computer now, it's as if there is a process running, but nothing run any virus, Trojan or worm etc just these updates caused this problem. I don't know if it updates is corrupt or not, but have tried different things as system file checker /scan etc with no luck.
(1) computer boots to the top and seems to Load Up Fine ' until the ' or 'Look at this' but isn't, something is running in the background or process "wing unstalled" is obviously "unhooked", etc..
2) try to load Internet Explorer last minutes and is very slow to load up, even if I 'don't load Internet Explorer' must still a long while that as in the firewall turn off for awhile some several «minutes» (way too long), before "auto turn on automatically return.
(3) turns firewall Windows itself on "finally" as Internet Explorer finally loads upwards as well the two Internet Explorer is able to load 'definitely' and the firewall is on "finally" as many minutes later as listed above, at the same time.
This could be the cause? Only, it has begun to 'After' I ran windows update and installed the 'most recently high security updates for windows XP' there were 16 listed mainly security updates and updates of net framework as well as the software removal tool windows malware.
That's all that is changed on my system, I tried many things, nothing seems to fix this problem with my computer. I know for a fact that these updates are the cause, but am not sure that you caused it? Or how do to solve this problem, any sugguestions would be appreciated.
Please answer questions following diagnosis by number in your very next answer (no need to quote this post):
1. what application or antivirus security suite is installed and your current subscription? What anti-spyware (other than Defender) applications? What third-party firewall (if applicable)?
2 a Norton or McAfee application already installed on the computer?
3. do you have a Norton or McAfee free trial come preinstalled on the computer when you bought it? (No matter if you have never used or activated).
4. you are using IE6, IE7 or IE8?
5. have you ALREADY had the opportunity to do a Repair Installation of Windows XP for some reason any?
PS: PLEASE DO NOT START ANYTHING IN ADDITION TO NEW THREADS ABOUT IT!

Firewall issue 314 and Internet Explorer
I had problems to use my internet browsers from 2 days. First, it started with Firefox AND Internet Explorer does not. It would come just to the top with a page saying "connection timed out" so that my internet and router are both operating correctly. My roommate's computer connects fine and both of our phones. I have internet hy plugged directly into the computer, but also a WiFi connection that both said were connected. When I went to diagnose the problem through the computer, he told me '314 firewall problem' but didn't tell me how to fix it or provide solutions outside the base "call someone else" which tends to be the solution to all my problems windows. I did a bit of reading with my phone's internet and someone suggested to use CCleaner. I have Firefox running again. However, none of my games on the internet will connect and Internet explorer is still having the same problem. I tried unplugging everything and restarting all 4 or 5 times. I tried to open port 80. None of this does not work so far.
I have a series under Windows 7 Home Premium HP p6000 office. Any help would be great (and I am not a geek at ALL, so simplified responses are greatly appreciated!) Thank you.
I found a solution on a forum who helped me finally! I will post it here in case anyone else has this problem as well: http://en.kioskea.net/forum/affich-109092-internet-explorer-blocked-by-firewall
I opened Internet Explorer go to tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > then clicked on the "Reset" touch everything downstairs and it completely resets the browser to its origin (removal of passwords and personal settings) settings. Then I rebooted it and it loads the homepage! It's a relief that this pain in the thigh is over.

Internet Explorer cannot display this webpage What you can try: Hello
Perform a restore of the system to an earlier point in time before this problem started. The tool using System Restore may not necessarily help you determine the problem. When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, type system restore in the search box, and then click System Restore in the list programs. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
2. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
3. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
4. click on finish.
5. the computer restarts and system files and settings are back to the State they were in when the restore point was created.

Dynamic Actions are disabled in Internet Explorer
Hi people
I am a new user to a remote site, completely technique. I finally disagnosed all the problems she reported because the dynamic actions seem to be completely disabled on his PC. It runs Internet Explorer unfortunately. I'll try to persuade her to switch to a real browser, but as it is a laborious process I would be sure that it will solve his problem before undertaking this exercise.
My problem is that I did not know that das could be disabled. I ran the same application on my PC on using IE and it works fine. So I don't know if the problem is browser related or windows related, or maybe even a firewall or a well-meaning, but overzealous anti-virus/spyware program. I'm not aware of a configuration facility that would allow the application to work to a large extent with the only obvious exception being that not even the simplest "hide the element' dynamic action is triggered.
The user is running IE 8, on a hosted Apex v4.0. Can anyone suggest what could be disable all DAs for this user frustrated and distraught developer?
Thanks in advance

Hello. About all of the weeks I have my upload computer files from one day to the next. It's a 17-hour process, and I don't want the computer off or restarted during this process. Murphy's law usually results in an update windows & restart related happening whenever I put my computer to download said. First of all, it is deeply annoying that windows would reboot my computer without asking me (Yes, I realize he asks you, and if you are away for an extended period, he just goes ahead and does it... but really, what the $#! % is the point of asking you if she goes ahead and that anyway when you get him just enough early?) Wow! Incredibly retarted the Windows for this.) But anyway, how can I disable this for Win7 Home Premium? (As if in the first place is not quite annoying, making it virtually impossible to figure out how to turn it off is like adding insult to injury). Please NOTE, I've seen some other forum post responses on this site that is: (1) link to an information page on the group policies for system administrators, but nowhere does really explain where and how to access these policies and change them! (2) has a process that begins with 'gpedit.msc' running, but when I started > box to search for this file, there is no result. (3) the hacking the registry (seriously? Please, don't.) SO, please tell me how to disable the auto restart, step by step, without messing with the registry, for WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM. Ideally, I'd like to be able to potentially re - activate cela in the future and/or switches back as my usage dictates. And for the record, it's nut that's not a simple option toggle any, as when my computer or monitor sleeps... Thank you!!
Thank you. I'll do it and change my Windows Update settings. BUT, FYI, in an act even more incredible, the same night I posted my question here, my computer was said upload, and I was still in place at 03:00 (when Windows is set to d/l and install updates). I went to the kitchen for a bit and returned to my computer to find a countdown - he downloaded updates and "will re-start in 7 minutes" or so and counting down... I said "AH HA!" I caught you! "I clicked the button of REPORTER and went to bed smiling that I myself had saved wasting many hours of work. But when I woke up the next morning... HE HAD DONE IT AGAIN! This means that it is: (1) downloaded another "critic" (cough) update later in the evening, which seems likely because it took to do this at 03:00 and had already done so... or (2) the REPORTER button defers only during a certain period of time (maybe an hour, or even less, by the look of it) and then do it again anyway.
This is ridiculous. As it is not ridiculous to called 9 10 patches 'critical', so critical that an urgent restarting your computer is necessary EVEN IF HE is BUSY WORKING, the substitution of the computer user asks to postpone and reboot anyway is absolutely unacceptable. How the manufacturers of Windows might think this makes sense, let alone was a good idea? Reporter should make the computer restarts DO NOT until * I * say he is allowed to do.
In this case, finish the work of 17 hours, that the computer was in the Middle has been MUCH more critical that whatever is downloaded updated. NO doubt about it. I know. Apparently, my operating system is not smart enough to know. So to take it upon himself to replace my reporter application is crazy. And in addition, the operating system MUST be smart enough to understand this - it's really not that difficult - if the computer is a lot of work, something intense, a download that is not finished, a sort of bar of ANY progress on ANY application which is not 100% yet, etc., it should be smart enough to WAIT to reboot anyway.
Thanks again once, change Windows Update settings so it will download updates but let me choose to install them, since this operating system is so poorly thought.

Hello, I'm sure that my computer is infected with a sirefef, I want to know if there is a free way to get rid of it, I ran so many antivirus scanners and malware/rootkit software and is not fixed. When I try to start the firewall, he says that he is unable to make these requests, Windows Update said the service could not be started, and says Security Center of service could not be started. Please help and I hope that my problem will be solved. Ask if you need more details. Thank you.

No idea what to do now. I tried to select only some and even unstalling all updates and walk away with the prize, but nothing helped. I ave nothing else running while I update - except Microsoft Security Essentials, but I even tried to disable the protection in real time, just in case. I checked the current process (from all users) as well. All drivers are up-to-date and legitimate. Material is all compatible and still pretty soon, lots of storage to drive HARD to the left, etc.
Here are the updates failed, copied and pasted in the same order, if this is useful: [-Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows 7 x 64-based Systems (KB977863), a security update for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB971468), a security update for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB975560), a security update for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB978251)] Update for Internet Explorer 8 Compatibility mode list for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB978506) update for Rights Management Services Client for Windows 7 for x 64 systems (KB979099), update for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB976264), update for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB976662), update for Windows 7 for x 64-based systems (KB977074) [, update for Windows 7 for x systems 64 (KB978637), update for Windows 7 for systems based on the x 64 (KB979306), games for Windows LIVE V3.2-]
There are a few updates which installed OK. Pretty well the other critical and recommended updates for Windows 7 HP64, I guess. I could list these if need be.
Ideas as a) what is the problem, and b) what can I do about it? Thanks in advance.

Internet Explorer and games does not start; no error message.
Hi, I had a lot of problems with my computer lately, and it's the last that I have not been able to solve. I'm running the 64 bit version of Windows 7 Home Premium in a computer, I implemented last summer (the motherboard is an ASUS P5N - D for details). I recently decided to bathe my HDD Seagate on fire right through a "boot and nuke" program, hoping to relieve a massive corruption of Windows file. I had a few difficulties, reinstallation of Windows through my installation disc - is now on his third relocation, because I found myself in the limbo of the repair to start due to corrupted registry errors the first two times (although Windows went perfectly fine as a first step, the problem is presented when you restart). On the last installation, I could run long enough to reacquire all my drivers through the internet, and I even managed to install and play a game for a while.
When I turned off my computer had 53 updates to Windows Installer. Let them install and when I started it this morning, Windows wouldn't start. I used the system restore, Windows and then stop again updates give a chance more (I think that they have perhaps been interrupted the first time). Now, Windows starts correctly, but I can't run my game. More worrying is that I can't run internet explore. I tried MS Paint and Windows Media Player and both of these applications are running. But in the two aforementioned applications, the pointer changes to indicate they're loading a moment and then returns to its normal appearance without loading anything or provide an unique error message. I opened the Task Manager and watched list applications that I began them - both appear in the handler for a fraction of a second before disappearing without warning. I have no idea what is the cause and would be very grateful some advice thereon before yielding to frustration and buy a new hard drive. Thank you.
Go, I found to open the newspaper is to copy on your desktop (for this, you will need the Admin password) then right click to copy file and 'open with '. Use an editor, I think that the default value in the list is Notepad. Uncheck "always use" that you can't always open these log files in Notepad.
The problem is that they are not so easy to decipher.
Have a read of http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929833, this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228 (for Vista but should give an idea) and http://www.sevenforums.com/general-discussion/56234-make-cbs-log-useable.html to give an idea.
The "SFC / verifyonly" does what it says, it does and just detects and reports errors through the newspaper. You can run the command to actually verify and repair errors, but to be honest, I don't know enough about the in's and out of it. I guess it must fix the errors it finds, but I am not sure if there are disadvantages to it. Experts from the SFC SC around?
I don't think that an information event is usually nothing to worry about, its errors and warnings that can give advice to any potential problems. If you open the error/warning message there is sometimes a link goes to MS who occasionally provides assistance on what to do next. Then click on one of the errors and look for the 'more information'
link. Have you tried 3, 5, 6 of my first post, & Esp 5. It is possible that your user account is 'pickled :-) ". "rather than the whole system and creating a new test user all might be fine." It is not certain or guaranteed, but shouldn't take long to check.
It seems that something is damaged somewhere, so maybe try something else is a check disk scan. Open Explorer, right-click your HDs (one at a time), tools, and then click "error checking".
EDIT - one think more away, you have an AV Checker updated running? Start in safe mode with networking, the errors still occur then (i.e. can you open IE now)? Once in safe mode, see if you can update your AV checker and run a full scan.

Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site!
Update installation?
All updates are installed correctly on your computer?
Method 1:
You can check if all updates have been installed successfully on your computer. To check
1. click on Start Orb
2. in the start menu search bar type Windows Update and press ENTER.
3. in the left pane, click view update history and check if all updates are installed successfully or not.
4. If updates failed, then uninstall it and try to install manually and check if that helps.
Method 2:
If this does not help, you can try to start on the last good known Configuration and check if that helps. Starts Windows with the last configuration of registry and the pilot who has worked successfully.
Steps to start last good known Configuration
Follow these steps:
- Remove all floppy disks, CDs, and DVDs from your computer, and then restart your computer by clicking the Start button, clicking the arrow next to the shut down button, and then clicking restart.
- Do one of the following:
- If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. If the Windows logo appears, you need to try again by stopping and restarting your computer.
- If your computer has more than one operating system, use the arrow keys to select the operating system you want to start, and then press F8.
- In the display Advanced Startup Options , use the arrow keys to select last known good Configuration (Advanced), and then press ENTER.
- If your computer has multiple operating systems installed, use the arrow keys to select the operating system that you want to start using the last good known Configuration, and then press ENTER. Windows will then resume starting normally.
For more details follow the link below.
