In the past, I was able to open the Firefox browser, go to a site to listen to the audio, then go to another application on my computer and the audio would play again through my speakers from the firefox website. Now if I do that I lose audio, unless firefox is the 'active' application, which means that if the bar blue top on the browser is blue and not dimmed. I tried the Add on "Always on top" and this does not solve the problem I have. I looked through the various settings and did not see a solution.   DOH! Feel like a jerk! Understand my problem! Sorry! Uh, I (or probably any other) had put the audio for the other app I was using (Avid editing software) on mute, causing the audio does not sink when the firefox browser was not "active".
