  I have model witch toshiba A30-303 have mast * one optical drive UJ-811 H100, I have this laptop for over 2 years and I have strength to find any update on this drive I n even know if this company exists (matsu * a).

  I've changed this disc about 5 or 6 times with a new period of warranty due to reading problems.

  I'll be happy if someone knows something about the update of this player

  Matsu * one is the same company that PANASONIC which is more known for us. The UJ-811 is a quite old model (3-4 years) and very well known problems.

  You forgot to mention in your post...
  (1) exactly, what is not working on your disk (writing? read?) DVD? CD? Movies?) and also
  (2) why do you think a firmware would solve your problem. (he has none)
  (3) how often and for what purpose do you use your car,.
  (4) and finally to what type of physical environment (home? mobile? dusty?) that you are using your laptop.

  Be aware, that optical readers get very easily breakable, especially when it is used for watching/rip movies on them or access the drive streaming of games. Another possible reason would be a wrong installation / incompatible software on your PC that can cause the drive not to work properly (or even disappear).

  You can try to 'clean up unused software' on your laptop and also to put a soft recovery to check, if your CD drive will be properly again. If the problem will not go away, you need to exchange it for a different brand new maybe even one (it was 5 times that a PANASONIC drive is broken?  ;)). If you are a heavy user of DVD player (movies, tearing, Burning, blah) you should ALSO get yourself a USB external... they hardly ever get broken, are faster and more reliable, and are much less expensive to replace. One of my friends who had already 3 discs replaced in his book could confirm as the best solution.

  I bought my P200 - 17 c, 3 months ago. I tried to update my Firmware apparent more later (TO35).
  However I can't because I don't have any other installed TO33/TO34. After checking my FW version is TO04! ????

  First that you check if you Satellite P200 has been equipped and supplied with the TS-L802A drive because TO35 firmware was designed only for this drive.

• Where to find an original driver/firmware for duosense screen (HP Tx2?)

  Well, I'm having a problem.

  Just got my tx2, and given that the computer was delivered inflated my taste with the trial software (and I really wanted to try real multi-touch capacity) I deleted the hard drive and installed the beta version of windows 7 32-bit.

  I installed the drivers for duosense ntrig (which also included a new firmware, unknown to me at the time and enjoyed improved support of touchpad compared to the firmware/drivers group, but I also lost pen holder.)

  Want to back pen holder, I reinstalled my own copy of vista, but much to my dismay, the screen no longer works properly, because of the new firmware.

  The button is very bouncy (it's very inaccurate, and if I highlight something and hold the button, the parameters of what I chose shake them.)  In addition, the pen still does not, because of the firmware.

  Anyone know where I can get a copy of the original firmware for the duosense screen?  My laptop is now paralyzed until I can find the original firmware, or a newer driver comes out for windows 7 that supports stylus.

  OK, here you go.

  1. reinstall or log in to windows 7 (I had it ona separate hard drive)

  2 install the software with firmware NTrig package

  3 here is the kicker! You must go and install this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=32bc1bee-a3f9-4c13-9c99-220b62a191ee&DisplayLang=en

  This is why it would not uninstall before.

  4. once who installed go for program files, ntrig, driver and click on NtrigFwRb.exe and run as an administrator. I don't know if it does nothing, but well, here are the steps that I follow! Laughing out loud

  5. run DPInst in the same folder and it say uninstall. It should tell you its remove the firmware.

  6. go into Device Manager and remove all the HID drivers.

  7. check hardware and sound and hardware options Ntrig should have disappeared.

  8 to make a full system recovery in windows vista.

  TADA! You have your back multitouch. HP told me they wanted me to pay to put in the firmware that was not allowed. Forget it.

  Hi all! This is my first time using the support community so forgive me for any rudeness and English summary.

  I recently bought a used mid 2009 macbook pro 13 "with no disc on this subject, I installed a new empty 120 GB ssd drive.

  I asked a friend and he has downloaded and made me a usb bootable with osx on it (lion). I instaled the osx and got the macbook running successfully and it was perfect.

  I decide to update and went up el capitan wich sucessfully installed. After the update I tried it out, web navigation simple, when suddenly, out of nowhere the mac stop (much battery left and the led indicator to confirm) and has not started since... when I turn it on the led light flashes and it gives the s.o.s. beep (3 short beeps followed by 3 long beeps and then 3 short beeps) the optical drive made his usual looking noises of boot and the fan continues to spinning, I tried to remove the battery 10 minutes several times and nothing... I read a lot about the problems of ram tested with one stick at a time in the two slots and no improvement... bought a new pair of hynix 2 gb 1066 mhz pc3-8500 ddr3 sticks as recommended for this model and replaced the "old"... did nothing.

  I have no original discs just the macbook itself and the charger. Also tried to boot from the usb drive... not good... tried to start mode revovery... nothing that the black screen and a beep sounds.

  I did some research and read a looooot online and in discussions such as this apple and found it to be the sound warning for bad/corrupted efi rom (as opposed to the majority of people declaring it to be a ram issue) which needs to be restored or flashed... However, apple does not provide or at least I can't find a picture of recovery for my model cd special I know it's the macbook 5.1 (a1278 / emc2254). Is there any solution for this? Please help in some way that you can welcome suggestions!

  The firmware has nothing to do with it. If the drive specification says that you can burn DVD-R media, you can do. With a new firmware, you can upgrade your player and add new features. It s bug just setting but not more.

  My personal opinion is that the problem is related to the brand of DVD - R. Have you tested different brands? I would recommend medium high quality Verbatim or TDK for example. They are really good and never had a problem with them. :)

  I checked the Toshiba page and there is no updated firmware for this CURIOUS.
  Usually if you have some problems with reading or writing to the disks, then this means that the STRANGE beginning of malfunctions and no update firmware could help.
  Perhaps the drive's laser lens is not ok this happens after a long period of use.

  Maybe you can try to clean the lens with the help of alcohol and lint.

  If that does not help, then you should try different discs from different manufacturers
  And the last option could be replacement drive.

• disk failure on the update of firmware for 6.4.2

  I have improved the weekend last in 6.4.1 6.4.2. immediately after the disk in drive 1 broken (102). I don't believe in co-incidences. the two discs were healthy before the upgrade (cycle count 55, new and green status with no email alert re system to degrade the status). There is no error reported in the newspaper before the upgrade. The system is now degraded with drive 1 not recognized despite being deleted and inserted (with power recycling). both drives are 3 TB WD red... both purchased at the same time and about 2 years. newspapers are available. I'm only using< 20%="" of="" capacity="" so="" not="" that="" either.="" running="" in="" raid="">

  However as unlikely a coincidence, I think there is a problem with the upgrade process. I've downgraded to 6.4.1 without success. thoughts?

  I managed to connect the drive failing to my pc. Unfortunately, it died completely... not recognized by the BIOS (so never successful for utilities). It will be on its way back to WD for replacement. Fortunately, I had ordered a new drive identical during the week and installed last night. It took 8 hours to synchronize, but we are now back to normal, even if the original disc will probably soon Miss also.

  Thank you for your help. I'll see if I can swap on the second disk too with the number of load cycles (and certainly reset). Then I'll go for the upgrade again.
