First 13 items there is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disc

I installed the box of the first 13 and 13 Photoshop elements on a brand new Dell with Windows 7 computer.  Everything is going well except for a pop-up message in the elements of Prime Minister, "there is no disk in the drive. Please insert the disc... ». I have read several messages from people encounter the same problem and I tried all the suggestions that were provided: restarting, uninstalling, reinstalling. I disabled the firewall and Virus when I did reinstall it by copying the file from the disk to my office and execution from there. I can't believe that there is no support for this problem. If anyone has a real solution, please let me know. The Photoshop works fine, so the problem is related to items only. I'm ready to throw in the towel and just get my money back.

In light of no one size fits all for the drive no problem, we try to find out what happens to work for you.

I have a lot of variety to explore, but the most promising so far is that of PRE_help involving the OldFilm.AEX in this any disc.

Have you read newly installed does not first element 13

PRE_help wrote in this thread

Could you try to remove the old Film of the first elements 13 installation location, and then try to launch the application? The right to be removed file is (assuming that you installed in the default location)

Program Adobe Premiere elements 13\Plug-Ins\Common\NewBlue\OldFilm.AEX

While we're not 100% certain that it is to blame, we have seen that this solves the problem in some cases internally. Let us know if that helps.

1. do you have a slot for SD built into your computer? If so, do you have anything in this niche right now? If not, put to the test to white comes with the computer in the SD card slot and watch the results on any drive.

2. are you all messages regarding no disc in a named player, you feel you've ever had? If so, consider anyway management computer/manage/disk to verify that there are no named TAPI driver here. If found, we could consider giving the reader a different drive letter.

3. do you make the scenario - uninstall, free ccleaner cross, reinstall it with antivirus and firewall disabled?

4. have you deleted the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file, and, if it does not, then you deleted the whole 13.0 folder in which the Adobe Premiere elements Prefs file exists?

5. with this particular problem and you cancel your way out there?

To what extent are you within 30 days the purchase?

Please review and consider. Looking forward to your results.

    Hello

I get an error message whenever I insert my pen drive or memory card in my laptop. The error message is "regsvr.exe - no disk there is no disk in the drive." Insert a disk in the drive\Device\Harddisk1\DR1. There are only three options - Cancel, Try Again and continue. None of them works. I have to manually stop the system to get rid of it. Please help me get rid of this error message for always. Your response to this regard will be highly appreciated. Cordially Sashwat

    Hello, Sashwat

If possible, test the drive in another computer and check if you are able to access or not. If this is not the case, the drive may be bad.

If it's a USB card with an SD card reader, rather than a dedicated, flash drive check if the card is recognized and accessible in other drives/devices. Also, check the metal contacts on the card to make sure that nothing is blocking the metal contacts. If the card cannot be read in other devices and contacts are clean, the card is likely bad.
If other devices can access the drive, but not by the card reader, the card reader could be bad.

1st problem: yesterday I started getting a popp window with the text following formulation - "there is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk1\DR1' I have no idea what this introduced him or how stop it.  Any suggestions?

2nd problem: whenever I restart my computer or shut it down and then power up the white bar that moves from left to right only moving to halfway through and then stops. I then have to hold the power button in until the computer turns off again and then rehit the power button. When it starts to power back up the white bar is always in the Middle, but then begins to finally complete the passage to the far right of the box. This problem started when I loaded the software for my printer Canon MX870 new that I bought and installed in October 2010 and has been done since then. I removed and reloaded the software of the printer on three different occasions but the problem persists.
