    Hello

Apple has not announced any changes to the functionality of the accelerometer integrated Apple Watch series 2 (and I have not personally noticed no difference in use).

If you have not already done so, it may help to update your Apple Watch (first generation) to the latest version of the software, from your iPhone:

  • Hi I have a new Apple Watch - sport Strip. Is it possible to buy separately strips that can be used with the watch?

Hi I got a new Apple Watch as a gift at Christmas - sport band, white, 42 mm. 7000 series. Since this is my first Apple Watch, I wonder if I should check all options at the store before opening the box. Is it possible to buy separately strips that can be used with the watch?  Thank you, in advance, for any advice, guidance, you can offer the wisdom.

    Hi, Kate

Yes - any band Apple Watch 42 mm fits your Apple Watch.

Non-Sport bands have different lengths, then check the circumference of your wrist and see Apple Watch Sizing Guide (that compares all the Apple strips) before you buy separate bands:

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/watch/Sizing-Guide

Try them in an Apple Store, it's also a great option.

The Sport of Apple Watch also has an anodized aluminum housing, while the non-sport bands have different metals of cards and/or links (this does not affect the compatibility, only appearance).

    Hello

Try restarting your watch force: hold down the side button and the digital Crown for about 10 seconds, until you see the logo.

If this does not help, then try to charge your watch for about 2 hours, making sure that you follow the instructions from here:

After this period, if it has not already restarted automatically, remove it from the charger and:

    • Try restarting it (by pressing the side button until you see the Apple logo).
    • If necessary, then try force it restarts again.

If the problem persists then, I suggest you contact Apple Support (mail service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation in order to have your watch checked and, if recommended by Apple, served (if under warranty, if it qualifies, or via paid repairs):

To check your warranty status (the serial number is on the back of your watch):

  • My Apple Watch battery empties crazy fast after restoring my phone and repair

I have recently known bad charge my phone. I restored to factory settings and then restore the backup, for both the phone and watch. The phone still does not load right, but this isn't the most pressing issue at the moment. As I fixed my Apple Watch, the battery was draining like crazy, even if I shot on airplane mode, limited notifications and turned down the brightness. In addition, all of my activities and training sessions disappeared. The watch doesn't remember my heart rate among the thousands of miles, I ran, cycled, etc.. Before the repair, I have the brightness all the way up to, have all notifications, disable airplane mode and go on an hour three run without having to load it wake-up until the evening. Now, the battery died before the lunch hour. Advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi John

Health and historical activity data is stored on your iPhone, not on your watch.

During erasing and restoring your iPhone, in order to have the historical data (among other sensitive data, such as saved passwords) be kept, to first make a backup of your iPhone, then, after erasing your iPhone to restore from this backup encrypted.

iCloud backups are encrypted automatically. If you use iTunes, it is necessary to select the option to "Encrypt iPhone backup".

    Hello

If you have not already done so, it could be that you want to configure your watch with these settings:

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > detection of wrist - it lights up.

-On your iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: Watch My > password > code turn on (choose a password Simple or more complex).

-Also on the password settings screen, select Unlock with iPhone.

After putting on your wrist, your watch don't unlock then after whatever you do first: unlock your watch manually (by entering the access code) or unlock your iPhone.

Then, it will remain unlocked (including when the screen is idle) until you remove it from your wrist. When you remove your watch, it locks automatically.

  • I just bought a Apple Watch on eBay and I am unable to put in place, as said, still connected to the previous owner icloud

OOwner tried to disconnect the watch, but it is not displayed as connected.

    Hello

In order to pair the watch to your iPhone, you need the former owner is:

    • Enter their Apple ID and password on your device, or;
    • Disable the feature via https://www.icloud.com/ by signing with their Apple ID > settings > my devices > Apple Watch-click > click the 'X' > click on delete.

If they have already removed the watch of their devices in iCloud, but the watch remains locked, it can help - if they have not already done so - if they désapparier the watch via the app shows on their iPhone (even if the watch is not available).

    • On their iPhone, in the application of Eve, go to: My Watch (tab) > My Watch > tap the name of the watch (if indicated) > on the next screen, press the 'i' icon to the right of the name shows > tap on disable pairing Apple Watch.

It can also help if you, as the new owner, try the following steps:

    • On your iPhone: app shows as well as all other open applications (press twice on the Home button, drag up on each of the app previews) nearby.
    • Restart both devices, two of them turning off and then restarting your iPhone first:
      • To turn off the clock: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; Drag the slider to turn off.
      • To turn back on the Watch: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
    • Then try to new development.

If the watch is always locked, ask the seller to contact Apple Support and explain the situation, clearly indicating that they are the original owner. Apple support may then be able to help more:

      • Double-click the Home button, and then drag upward on each preview of the app.

  • Problem with the polar H7 and Apple Watch mating

I'm trying to pair a polar H7 to my Apple Watch.  Bluetooth under settings, the watch detects polar device, but is not pair.  (The wheel continues to spin and it reads not 'connected').  I've disabled the watch and tried again but still the same result.  Can anyone help?

    Hello

    • Wear the polar H7 (which lights up by being broken to the strap and rotates when detached).
    • On Apple Watch, go to settings > Bluetooth.
    • Wait that Polar H7 appears, then press it.

If the monitor has already been associated with another device (for example, your iPhone), try it unpairing from that first.

  • Can I connect headphones bluetooth and Apple Watch iPhone 5?

I love my Jam Transit Mini buds wireless headset but can't do them to pair with my iPhone when I have my Apple Watch connected.  Is it possible to connect two Bluetooth devices at the same time?  When I get in my car, my phone connects to the Bluetooth in my car but does not disconnect the Apple Watch so I guess it's possible.  Reflections on how I can get both connected?  Thank you!

    Hello

Yes - with your iPhone paired and connected to Apple Watch, it is still possible to pair your iPhone Bluetooth headset.

If the headphones are already paired with any other device, it can help to undo the first matching them.

Check that you have placed your headset in discovery / mode in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer of equipment:

-Choose to restore the watch (backup restore) when provided the opportunity during the whole.
