First elements - rendering AVCHD

I tested a mix of stills and an AVCHD movie.  When rendering - program 'stuck' at 89.99% which I think is the result of the AVCHD movie.  Someone had it happen to them?  If so, cancel you rendering or perhaps convert the file in another format.  Looking for solutions and ideas.  Tony

As I mentioned in the post above, if you finally will export to standard definition then the best format to work with PE7 is DV - AVI. So convert it to DV - AVI and then work in a widescreen standard definition project.

  • First moments of video rendered as just a black screen - first Elements 9

    Hello

I am putting together a short demo clip, 8 seconds of a particular moment of my project on first Elements 9. The section has two clips that have been taken separately, but are cut in half with the function of the harvest, so that they both play on the screen at once. There is also a position and brightness of one of the clips settings to ensure they match.

However, I started seeing strange behavior when I try to make the clip and as so far I have not been able to get a usable copy. When rendered as a .wmv, one of the two clips is inexplicably cropped down to about a quarter of the height of the stage, despite being not not in the editor. In addition, when rendered in the form of an MPEG format I would prefer the file in, even if I don't get the first problem I have a question where executives from 20 to 23 first video won't play in an external video player. I also tried good windows media player and VLC. Instead, the section of the video appears as either a black screen, a black screen with a white line on it, or, if the video timeline scroll at the beginning, the last displayed image. The clip of the music that accompanies the video however still plays during this section, and the error is not seen at all in the editor. Oddly enough, if one of the files of rendering is re-imported in first Elements 9 and played in error, 20-or-so executives will play indeed. It seems that the editor of Premiere Elements that can play these frameworks.

I am quite at a loss here. I doesn't bother me too much not to be able to export as .wmv, as it is not my first choice, but if someone could help me with the rendering of MPEG, I would be very grateful.

The source files are AVCHD (.mts) files at a resolution of 1440 x 1080. There is only a 'change of clip"to the point where the video become visible again, but that's just where I divided the same clip to make a change of brightness, as I have several times in the video also.

    Thanks for any help,

    Black.

I found a solution in entering all the clips in the project and dragging about 3 seconds in the timeline, leaving a few seconds of black space that I can cut easily.

  • First elements keep crashing with the rendering and editing environment!

    Hey

I used adobe first elements 10 a little over a month now. But recently pre began to plant, then I made a video!

I began searching on "Adobe premiere elements 10 crash supply", but has not found an answer. But, I have found that some people had the problem with crash made when the bar reached process 27%, I tried to make twice in a row and notice that my rendering where crashing to 31%!

I really have no idea what could be the problem!

    64 bit

See also this article on PRE to crash, or suspended: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/792580?tstart=0

He begins with a checklist for the pre, then goes into details on the setting of the system and OS, and then goes in the resolution of problems, with links to other articles and also tools to help solve the problem (s). The first part is pretty easy, and then things take "degree of difficulty", as you progress, ending with the case of the unexplained.

  • First elements 10 HG1920 AVCHD (.m2ts) playback is choppy

    Hello

Installed first Elements 10 day before yesterday and we tried a small project using my camcorder Panasonic SD900 material. The shots are HG1920 AVCHD (.m2ts) format. When I place them on the My project Panel and play them they are jerjy and shimmering. I tried to play sequences individual back by double clicking it in the task pane, and they play very well. I was given to understand that first Elements 10 can cope with the AVCHD formats. It's early days, but I I'm not at the moment who has impressed with the product.

  • No sound in my first 10 elements rendering mpeg

I can hear the sound during playback on first Elements 10, but does not when you export as a rendering MPEG for playback on a PC or in other formats. I am just learning and can't see anything obvious that I am doing wrong, but it's probably something simple like a game installation. Any help?

When an output file has no Audio, the first thing I think is multiplexing. This ARTICLE goes into detail. Check it out and check the setting on your multiplexer tab in the settings of export/Share.

Unless you have the information in front of you, please download and install the video properties MediaInfo reading program to determine the frequency of images or your video frame rates. Cell phone video is often characterized in variable rate which can (not always) create problems to get imported, video audio out of sync...

MediaInfo - download reviews and free software - CNET Download.com

Be on guard for any unwanted alongs carry with the MediaInfo. Excellent program, but those carry alongs can be a major nuisance. The reading of this program will tell constant compared to variable rate.

Also check the display to confirm that you are working with progressive video and not interlaced.

If variable rate, the next step would be to take video in brake hand and export it as H.264.mp4 with a rate constant, not variable. Use the median between the min and max.

We will follow to your results.

  • First Elements 14 vs Premiere Pro

If I made my project in first item 14 (1080 p) it will look as good if this project has been created in first elements Pro?

Premiere Elements has two reading settings, automatic and high. By default, it is automatic, which is fast but the playback quality is compromised here. If you want the best quality of reading, you must change this setting at the very top and you will see the best possible reading when rendering. You can change this parameter either preferences or the program monitor, right-click and choose the playback quality.

Premiere Elements limit the rendering/preview files to a format and Premiere Pro uses different formats for rendering files according to the settings of the selected sequence it. If you have chosen playback in Premiere Elements settings and then restore the film, then you will visually see the difference compared to Premiere Pro. I hope this helps.

  • First Elements - pre-sales questions

Hello, I plan to buy Premiere Elements as there is now the discount when I buy with Photoshop Elements (which I will probably also need). From what I've seen so far first looks very good to me (compared to Corel VideoStudio Pro that I use now) but I have not much time to try until the extraordinary offer ends and now I'm also waiting to receive money for some previous projects I did so I would need to buy maybe later and still get the discount available. Also, I wonder what the functional difference between Premiere Pro and Premiere Elements. And is there a version of Premiere Pro that is not part of the cloud creative but one installation that I pay for once and just get the software? And another question: if I buy your software for a PC, can I get a chance to use it on a Mac if I choose to? Thanks for the replies.

When you purchase the product, you can use the activation even on a Mac or a PC.

First elements and Premiere Pro are very very different, so there is no comparison. Premiere Pro is a professional software and includes features for editing professional video formats such as high level editing tools and the ability to interface with programs like Photoshop Pro, and after effects CC. Premiere Elements is an amateur and semi-pro software that was designed to be easy to use and change formats such as AVCHD and video Smartphone.

If you want to see Premiere Elements in action, I have an 8 part Basic Training tutorial series free which should give you a nice overview.

    Thanks for the follow-up.

With regard to the trial of the 13 items first... all imports in it will have the watermark of Adobe as seen in the edit box monitor.

    1. you can't you get rid of this watermark Adobe from exports of the first 13 items test (either export to the file saved in the computer

hard drive or burn to disc).

    2. you can get rid of the tattoo Adobe Premiere elements 13 trial of the project file (.prel). For this you need 13 items first purchased.

    a. open the project first elements 13 tryout file recorded in first 13... bought items then chronology Menu/delete rendered files... the Adobe watermark is based on this project.

    or

    b. open Premiere elements project file 13 tryout recorded in first 13 bought items... and then do nothing but continue the project. So we have

found that just opening the project of tryout in the acquis automatically removes the watermark of Adobe.

Determine which of the two that works for you.

There is no guarantee that a project created in an earlier version can be opened in a later version. But you can try. But do this by using a copy of the project file of the previous version. Once the project from the previous file is changed in the second version, you can't go back and change the edited version project subsequent to the previous version.

Please let us know if you're OK with the above information. If this isn't the case, please do not hesitate to ask questions and seek clarification.

  • Can I combine different sequences in first elements?

Can I combine different sequences in first elements? If this is not the case, what is the best way to save and re - import my sequences to a new project without losing image quality?

I just of started using this program and made a number of different sequences that it seems easier to work with but now realize that I seem to not be able to combine them and fear that I will lose the quality of image if I export and re-import, on a new sequence.

    Thanks for the reply.

Project 1... If you have imported the source media, 1080 p (1920 x 1080 @ 29.97 progressive frames per second), use the project preset

    NTSC

    DIGITAL SLR

    1080 p

    DSLR 1080 30 p @29.97

I exported this Timeline content as

    Publish + share

    Computer

    AVCHD

    with presets = MP4 H.264 1920 x 1080 p30

so I would like to take this export file (1920 x 1080 p 30 as the H.264.mp4) in

    Project 2...

    that is defined for

    NTSC

    DIGITAL SLR

    1080 p

    DSLR 1080 30 p @29.97

and continue from there to the final destination (export).

The program is designed where the project preset is automatically set by the program based on the properties of the first file dragged to the timeline.

Sometimes the program does it right. Sometimes not. When not, and then you set the project preset manually. Please follow the instructions to do this

at the bottom of the blog following.

You can check the project under Menu/project settings to change settings/general and readings for the editing timebase Mode, size of the image, Pixel Aspect Ratio (even if the fields appear dimmed).

If you do not know the properties of the source media, please tell us the brand/model/parameters of the camera that records video, and we will try to understand the video properties of this information.

Please read the above. Any questions, please ask. If one of my assumptions are not correct, please let me know and I'll amend my instructions accordingly.

  • Problems to export HD of first Elements 9 for Vimeo video (program plant or video is fuzzy)

I have a 10-minute wedding video I am trying to export from Adobe first Elements 9 for download on vimeo. I followed the instructions in this video: export to upload to Vimeo with Adobe Premiere Elements on Vimeo for how to proceed. The first time I followed the instructions, the video file that results is fuzzy and blurry, not at all like HD video, I could see in the program prior to export. Since then, I tried to export several times with different parameters, and every time the program crashes when the video is approximately 95% complete. How can I correct this situation? Sorry about that. I thought at first Elements 10, when you posted clearly whether you work with 9.0.

It would seem that we are OK with the project preset

    NTSC

    DIGITAL SLR

    1080 p

    Digital SLR [email protected]

for your import AVCHD or H.264.mov.

In the Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 share/calculation/QuickTime

    = NTSC 16:9 DV presets

and as for the customization tab Advanced Settings button/video

I'd go with the frame width 1920, frame height 1080

and I would increase the flow according to the guidelines of Vimeo

    Guidelines of compression on Vimeo

Even if you were to stay at 1280 x 720, I think that your flow of 5000 Kbps setting is too low. If you stay with 1280 x 720, I would

    Watch the kbit/10,000s to the value ' limit bitrate to. " If you go with 1920 x 1080, I would look at 10 000 to 20 000 Kbps, probably closer to 20 000 kbit/s.

First determine if these bitrate increases have no effect on what you are looking for. Then, we will focus on the size of the file. Are limited to a given file size?

Superior throughput, more quality, more the size of the file. You need to find a good compromise between bitrate, file size and quality.

As a point of reference, which is the bitrate of the video that you import into the project? I saw a Canon T2i video sample that used something like 42 Mbit/s (megabits per second), in contrast to 5000 kbps (kilobits per second), which would be of 5 Mbps.

    Please review and consider.

    Thank you.

I can get you a file you can enter organizing items 12 and also import (with no defects) in the first of 12 items Editor. But, it is

    with workarounds...

    1. your original MPEG2.ts must be fully compatible with the editor first of 12 elements. But I can't hold a MPEG2.ts my organizing items 12.

Besides, I see a problem integrating the organizing elements 12 of any MPEG2 file while I'm not having this problem with organizing items 9, 10 or 11.

Solution 1. Simply import the MPEG2.ts in first 12 items editor for your project. No thoughts of organizing elements.

    2. I've found that I can produce a very good quality AVCHD.mp4 of the MPEG2.ts using Movie Maker 2012 in Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64bits.

I find that I can take this AVCHD.mp4 in the first elements 12 without any problem. However, I can't take this AVCHD.mp4 in

First 12 items editor except IF I rename the .mov .mp4 file extension.

Solution 2. For goals in first 12 editor and organizer elements 12, convert your .ts in .mp4 with Movie Maker 2012, change the name of the file to .mov .mp4 extension and then import the .mov in first 12 elements or elements Organizer 12 or both without problem.

    3. maybe one step may be eliminated by converting the .ts in .mov directly with a program such as MPEG Streamclip.

    http://www.squared5.com/

Problems of Organizer 12 elements seem to go beyond the excuse of the lack of codecs. Still considering what to do with the organizing elements 12 in

in general. My old troubleshooting shall delete the settings file and create a new catalog don't work... as well as the flexibility to rename

extensions of files involved and right-click the thumbnail of the elements Organizer and select thumbnail update.

Please consult the bulletin and consider the foregoing and then let me know if everything above worked for you.

Right now I'm looking at your ts VLC for conversion .mp4 to try to determine what happened to you with it.

    Later.

    RTA

Add on... No matter what I do with your VLC H.264.mp4... the file import in first elements 12 change nuanced green or green video. I feel

the problem is in the video codec used. Replacing the file extension of .mp4, .mov here does not change the situation.
