  • Transpose lines / columns entered for Matrix

    Hi all

Read a few pages on the forums of the community about me little challenge, but come to the conclusion that using the OFFSET would be the way to go, but I'm struggling with the syntax. Maybe, I'm thinking of it (Note: similar to copy paste n + transpose into excel). The idea is to, first, build the frame of the matrix by using the information in table 1 and 2 below, then laster, fill the inter connection of cells with the data of table 2.

The first step is to transpose the first two columns of table 2 for the columns in a table (highlighted) two first is OF 2 + is the main reference OF-3 and this is the main reference and so on.

The number of entries in table 2 will increase with time, so it's easy to update with here simple fill.

Played with "SHIFT" without success - based on a similar problem posted on an earlier version of numbers / iWorks. So, I am convinced it can be done this way - of ideas or suggestions would be very welcome.

    Thanks in advance

  • Conncetion VPN works not-Tecra A8 / WXP

    Hello

    I have a Toshiba Tecra A8 (3 years) with Windows XP / SP3.
Everything works fine (network cable or wireless; Bluetooth too), with when I tried to configure a VPN connection to my company's server, it does not work.

The router in my house works well, as well the firewall in the work of the company.
I know that because the other Win XP or Win 7 PC and laptop can connect to the company.
I got the Error Message "721" (from component VPN) which could also be a network adapter error (unsupported protocol or if)- but there might be another reason too.

I tried to update the network adapter driver, but did not find a more recent software.
And currently, I am unwilling to upgrade to Windows 7 without knowing it, the error seems too.

Any ideas? Advice and links to possible answers, I would like to say thank you in advance.

Hello. I have read other responses to this problem of the addition of Windows XP (as a dual boot) but it still doesn't work. My laptop (I bought a few days ago) comes with Vista, and I bought Windows XP Home Edition - OEM. I got the intel matrix storage manager on a floppy USB drive, but now it gives a message "the txtsetup.oem file is not found." I have XP because it turns out that my work WHAT VPN does not work under Vista (I found that out AFTER I bought the computer unfortunately).

Can you please tell me what I should do next to get this working? And any other surprises I might encounter? I looked around the internet but cannot find the answers to this. I tried nlite, but have not managed to get this working but either.

    Thank you.

    Hello

There are different reasons why you can not install Win XO on the U300.

First use the right Manager, Intel Matrix Storage Manager?
Laptop you seems to support the Intel GM965 + Intel ICH8M chipset!

    Please check this thread!
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=26040

The user Markus77 has listed the details!

Also please don't format the HARD drive or create any installation AFTER the partitions of the Intel Matrix Storage manager. This would remove the driver already installed.

    Hello

In my opinion, you should first try determine what can be the problem and if there is some malfunction of the keyboard. It will be very interesting to know if there is the same problem with the external keyboard.

If you reinstall the operating system using the recovery CD, avoid any problem, except for a faulty keyboard. Please try with external keyboard if you have a.

  • If it is not recommended to burn DL iDVD projects?

    Hello

When I want to save/record an as project DL iDVD project, iDVD says, one should not burn to / save as disc image, if you want to use DL media.

Here, he also says that most stand-alone players will not play DL media http://www.peachpit.com/articles/article.aspx?p=1355450&seqNum=13

So what is the situation? Any recommendations? Better avoid DL projects?

    Thanks in advance.

This article from Peachpit is very old.

I've never seen this comment from iDVD: at what stage do you see that? You can take a screenshot and post here?

I rarely use DVD double layer as projects more than 2 hours are really too long.

    iDVD encoding settings:

    http://support.Apple.com/kb/HT1502?viewlocale=en_US

    Short version:

Best Performance is for up to 60 minutes videos

Is better quality for the videos up to 120 minutes

Professional quality is also for up to 120 minutes, but a higher quality (and takes much longer)

It was single layer DVD double those numbers for the double DVD layer.

Professional: professional quality option uses the advanced technology of re-encoding to encode your video (the first pass determines what parts of the film may be compressor plu data without loss of quality and what are the parts cannot.)  The second pass then encodes the parts accordingly), resulting in the best possible video quality on your DVD burned. You can select this option regardless of the duration of your project (up to 2 hours of video for a single disc layer and 4 hours for a double-layer disc). Because the professional quality encoding is time-consuming (requiring twice as much time to encode a project like the high quality option, for example) choose it only if you are not concerned about the time needed.

In both cases the maximum length includes titles, transitions and effects, etc. Allow about 15 minutes for them.

You can use the amount of video in your project as a rough determination of which method to choose. If your project has an hour or less of video (for a single layer disc), choose the best Performance. If it is between 1 and 2 hours of video (for a single layer disc), choose the quality. If you want the best quality possible encoding for projects that are up to 2 hours (for a single layer disc), choose the professional quality. This option takes about twice as long as the high quality option, to select what if time is not a problem for you.

Use the capacity meter in the project info window (choose Project > Project Info) to determine how many minutes of video your project contains.

NOTE: With the creation of better performance, you can turn off background encoding by choosing advanced > "encode in background. The check is removed to show that it is no longer selected. Encoding turn off background can help performance if your system seems slow.

And while that check these settings in iDVD preferences, make sure that the settings for NTSC/PAL and DV/DV widescreen are also what you want.

  • Problem with traditional DAQ passage to DAQmx using NOR-6534

I'm moving the traditional following of DAQ code to DAQmx:

This code is used to send data to program a FPGA using a PCI OR-6534 DIO.  This code works like a charm, but when I try to write the equivalent code using DAQmx (in LV 8.6 as well) it does not work.  I don't get any errors, but the FPGA do not program.

The General procedure is as follows:

The value of all the lines on the Port exit 0

Set up the mode of transfer to low Active

Write the data in the buffer

Send the data using the internal clock of 10 MHz of the 6534 (6533 is no longer used, but the code was never updated)

Wait until the output is made

    Disable the task

In DAQmx I configured as such:

Any ideas on what has changed in DAQmx or what I am doing wrong?

Looking at your code traditional DAQ once more, he is actually setting up handshaking vs just a straight sample clock.  The Config VI Mode with the "clock polarity" setting is not a sample generated at a certain rate clock, but instead, it's a protocol handshaking attack or the trailing edge.  TDAQ had much more flexibility with what DAQmx and some handshaking protocols are not transferable to DAQmx completely.

So when you say the configuration of your device in TDAQ bass Active transfer mode, I don't see what is happening in the code TDAQ.  It's really a negotiation protocol of unknown polarity (given that you use a control and I don't see the default value in the public Service).

You can try to determine which protocol handshake TDAQ you use first, then determine if there is an equivalent for DAQmx.  The three modes that cannot be transferred are level ACK, tip, or long pulse modes.  These have ACK leading REQ, which is not possible for DAQmx to manage.  You can read more in the user guide for the 6534 and starting on page 3 and 4 are the comparison of the different modes of handshake.

Then move forward options are do not migrate or to download a beta driver TDAQ, if you perform the migration for the purposes of the compatibility of the OS.

Hope this helps, let me know what other spawn of this.  Thank you.

  • State machine with the help of event

    Hello everyone,

I have a question on how to achieve the "Timeout". In the diagram below, you can see 2 different situation:

    1. in the 1st case, I used the state machine, it starts in State 1, that contains a case of event. From there, it will first be determined, if the input value has changed in 10 seconds, if it didn't, the state machine will go to State 2, if it is changed, will also be determined, if the value equal to 3, if so, input the distributor of State will in State 3, if not, go back to the State 1. (this VI I've done it before, you can take a look at the attachment).

    2. my question is in the 2nd case. He also started the State 1. Here, the input value can also be changed (once or several times) or not. If the value has not changed within 10 s, or even if it's been changed many times within 10 seconds, but it was never equal to 3, the state machine will go to State 2. only when the value of the entry within 10 seconds equal to 3, he can jump to State 3.

This problem, I do not know how to solve, everyone has no idea or improve methods?

    Thank you very much!!

My bad, dint tested before posting (in addition to kills confidence)...!

Let me know, if it works this time...!

  • Display of information from the data CAN at a gauge table

    Hello

I'm new to Labview and just know the basics. I use a sample code to send and receive messages CAN. I need to view the data of received messages (only the first two bytes) on two gauges, i.e. the first two values of the data matrix. Is it possible to do? Also, it would be useful if I could control the value of the first byte of data using a button or dial. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Brian

    Hello Brian,.

You can use the "Subset of the table" function in your range of tables in your diagram and choose zero index and size two (2 items out of the table) in order to extract the first two values.

Here is a link to the help of the service document:

    http://zone.NI.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361E-01/Glang/array_subset/

You can have all of your comments as a control and set the default values for the items you want to change. You can access this property by setting the value on the control, and then right-click on it to go to the "information Operations" then 'Create this value default value'. Then, you can right click the control you want to change and replace with a dial. Make sure you only select properly its representation. For example, a byte you would probably select U8.

Attached is an example, please take a look and let me know if it helps.

  • portable computer does not support. Yet battery monitor says "plugged in, not support.» What are some options?

my laptop is connected, and yet power monitor says "plugged in, does not support." What are some solutions?

    Hi Joseph,.

Something similar just happened to me. The first time they fixed it, they have replaced the adapter and the problem is solved. 5 months later it started to happen again and this time they replaced the battery, the motherboard and the milling table (thanks to heaven, it is still under warranty). Fortunately, thanks to the new adapters, battery started to load and the experience does not seem to damage it in any way (but you should keep your eyes on it anyway just in case).

How they were able to say on my laptop - a Dell E1705 (other than just experience and common sense) was to go into the BIOS (starts, it should be a brief Flash on the screen telling you how to enter the BIOS setup or menu of the BIOS (usually F2) and check the battery information. He showed that the power adapter 'unidentified' instead "90W" list which should be when it is working properly and that the battery was not complete and not charging well plugged. They changed the motherboard and the roll the second time because it could also cause the adapter is not being recognized by the battery (or battery not not recognize the adapter).

The beep is caused by power and its configured settings to warn you of a low and critical battery condition. In a normal situation, the computer will work right next to the power adapter and does not the battery (it is a way to help maintain the battery life is to run periodically and refill if we leave normally plugged in most of the time). If you remove the batttery entirely, the laptop will power? If this isn't the case, it is certainly at least the adapter or the motherboard. Eventually the battery will get if low, that he's going to sleep or hibernation, or the system stops (you should shut down normally before him to cold shutdown like that). If If, then I expect the tone to go further because it will detect is no longer a low battery charge, because there is no battery - but then you'll want to be sure to use either a battery backup UPS, or at least a surge protector otherwise already in place because if you lose the laptop battery will crash hard and this is not good for her.

I'm using 32 bit Vista Business SP2 and in Control Panel / sounds / Sounds there is an option for low battery alert. The default to have this. In this case, you can turn off to avoid the beep. In addition, you can go into Control Panel / Power Options, click the plan settings and click on battery. It will provide you with levels of low battery and critical battery and you provide measures to be taken in such a case. If you are unable to operate the system without battery and it is so weak that the alerts began, you probably fell to 11-5% remaining. You can adjust actions to nothing for bass and stop to criticism that 5% is about as close as you want to get to the point where you can hang. Then, you just need to wait until it is repaired and the appropriate parts are replaced.

Even if you have still some life in it, it is best to contact the manufacturer (they the some have the right parts) or a computer of reputable workshop to get a good diagnosis (perhaps by phone at first), a determination of what must be fixed, the applicable fees, schedule, if it is still under any kind of warranty , and what needs to be done in which order of repair. They can find the adapter is OK and it is just the battery (or vice-versa or two or more). But that's essentially where you need start.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!
