  Try changing the VGA cables and check if it helps.

  As noted, my motherboard has failed.  IDE only AGP CPU core.  Not much use trying to find anotherof those.  Replaced the motherboard with a newer version.  It has SATA, multi core processor, etc.  Processor and HARD drive had to be replaced.

  My Vista home premium 32 bit running on my machine for years.  I loaded it on the upgrade with no problems.  Went to windows update and SP1 and then SP2 and all other windows updates suggest and worked very well, for a few days.

  Now, I get a message that the product key is already used and need to buy AnotherOne coming soon.

  What cable connection/use exactly to connect the external monitor?

  I would recommend the first connection cable before you turn on both devices. Then turn on the external monitor first, and then for laptop. Normally it automatically detects the external display. If this isn't the case, you can use the FN + F5 key combination to move from a monitor.

  I have a problem, I'm fighting currently to solve - iTunes 12.3.3.17 iTunes crashes after playing the song for about 30 seconds.

  (1) the preferences removed from the library, so that they can be recreated - did not work;

  (2) reinstalled iTunes - not worked;
