First use JDE

Please forgive the character of "noob" of this issue!  I'm trying to get an application "hello world" to work for the first time.  One of my Java project files has the line:

import java.util.Calendar;

It's really simple stuff.  For example - when compiling this with javac BACK - he works a lot.  But when you use the IDE BlackBerry I get the following compilation errors:

D:\Java\BlackBerry\Algorithms.Java:84: cannot find symbol
symbol: variable DAY_OF_YEAR
Location: class java.util.Calendar
SYSDATE. Add (Calendar.DAY_OF_YEAR, delta);
^
D:\Java\BlackBerry\Algorithms.Java:210: cannot find symbol
symbol: contains (java.lang.String) method
Location: class java.lang.String
If (lp_cipher_input.contains (kHeaderStr) & lp_cipher_input.contains (kFooterStr)) {}
^
D:\Java\BlackBerry\Algorithms.Java:210: cannot find symbol
symbol: contains (java.lang.String) method
Location: class java.lang.String
If (lp_cipher_input.contains (kHeaderStr) & lp_cipher_input.contains (kFooterStr)) {}
^
3 errors

I tried right-clicking on the project, selecting "Properties"... "and by adding entries in the area"JAR files imported.  Even though I have "robbed" to JAR files in my directory JDK, it still does not work.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you!

Joe

Look like, you try to compile the code 'Office' J2SE-J2ME of the compiler and libraries.

Open in the javadocs for java.util.calendar and you will see that DAY_OF_YEAR is not implemented.

    Hey Buddy,

    > a small window opens with '3.14 system preparation tool' and even if I click OK, it does not.
    And what happens if you n t click this tool?
    Perhaps that the laptop has been reinstalled from approved maintainer and if the installation must be completed.

    Otherwise, I would recommend reinstalling Windows disk recovery Toshiba again. Maybe something was wrong during installation and so it would be necessary to reinstall Windows again.

  • "Setup is preparing your computer for first use" loop problem

    Hello, I was hoping you guys could help out me with a big problem, I ran across when trying to install Windows 7 on a desktop computer new, custom - build. I managed to successfully install my Windows 7 64-bit, it appeared, but when I try to run it, that I will meet a black screen that says "Setup is preparing your computer for first use" and it will stay there forever, I would say. I let it run all night and didn't go anywhere.

    I tried to start in safe mode, and Windows was loading files sys32, he got to "Classpnp.sys" and it froze. After a few minutes, the screen is blacked out, and I got fired the familiar screen "Setup is preparing your computer for first use.

    I bought the copy of Windows 7 nine FRY, there will be no problem with that. My HD is a (new) 240 GB PNY Optima SSD, my mobo is a (new) Z97X-SLI Gigabyte, and I have 16 GB of RAM. All these things have been recognized by my BIOS, it seems that everything is properly connected.

    I tried to install Windows 7 on a second time and exactly the same thing happened. I also tried to repair the installation to start upward, but he finds no problems. Also a check of the memory and the disk has verified without any problem. The only things I plugged are my monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

    Does anyone know of a workaround for this screen loop "first use"? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Location-how to create an interface to the .rrh file using jde?

    Hello

    I created my own files .rrh and .rrc, but when I build my project in jde 4.5 there is no corresponding interface is created for the file .rrh... Please tell me how to create the interface using jde and where it is located?

    create an interface named NAMEResResource (with NAME = your name of the module).
    create a long BUNDLE_ID and a string BUNDLE_NAME and set some values (random).
    You can now add resource strings, with a random value as all are managed by the internal interface of the JDE.

    You must create the entry of resources in the HR Manager/DRR files and copy the name of the entry in your own interface.

  • New installation of Windows 7 Ultimate, computer loops and again: "the installation program prepares your computer for first use.

    I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate on my Toshiba Tecra A4-S211 and provided that the installation went, it seemed that took place without incident; except that when I try to start windows I see: "Starting windows" followed by "Setup prepares your computer for first use" that is displayed for about 3-5 seconds and then it restarts and displays abruptly: "cannot start Windows.
