Fitting the screen pages

How can I get the page to fit the screen.  After the Welcome screen appears and the system is connected is dead center on the screen as a small area and it's on a Hewlett Packard laptop that it the screen with icons on it.  If will not get everything bigger.  Also, on my other desktop, which is a sony vaio.  When I access internet, my page is automotically medium of fat and I have to minimize the box and then make adjustments.  I've never had to do this before.  I don't know what I did to cause this. The page is so great that I can't see the scroll bars on the screen width.

Please help and thanks anyone done!

Nice day!

Don't know if this will solve your problem, but:

Right-click on the desktop > properties > settings > whatever-you-think-it-should-be of screen resolution

Usually, it is the highest

  • My hotmail page no longer fits the screen - it's too big. It wasn't always like that. How can I reformat to fit the screen?

All of a sudden, the fonts and formatting on the hotmail page (in records such as Inbox, sent, deleted, etc.) is so great that it does not fit the screen.  I have to move the page from left to right and back again to see the entire page.  Font size says 10, but it's huge.   How can I fix?

Try clicking on view, then text size, then select a smaller size.

    I hope this helps.

    Hi PatriciaDelgado,

Usually, this would happen if the resolution of the screen on the computer is not set correctly.

I suggest that you change the resolution of the screen on the computer and check if it helps.

I have two large black areas on each side of my screen. How to resize my screen to fit the screen of my computer? (and yes I tried the button expand) :))

    Hello val2000, welcome.

These games is managed inside of Internet Explorer? If this isn't the case, then I suggest contacting the manufacturer of your computer for the latest pgrahics drivers. If installation of those who does not resolve the problem, then try to change your resolution to one of the following values (depending on the size of your screen):

    1024 x 768
1280 x 800 (wide, common form for laptops)
    1280 x 1024
    1680 x 1050 (widescreen)

    To change your resolution:

    1. click on START
    2. click on "Control Panel."
    3. double click on "display".
    4. click on the tab "settings".
    5. change the resolution on your cursor tab and then click on 'Apply' at the bottom right

  • My Dell ST2220L Monitor has no screen resolution that fits the screen.

I recently moved and before the move, my ST2220L turned to 1680 x 1050 and it fit perfectly on the screen (that's what he says is the recommended resolution and there is nothing more. After I moved, when I started my monitor, instead the 1920 x 1080 was the new recommended and 1680 x 1050 wasn't available more (it is not recommended, and it does not display). 1920 x 1080, or 1680 x 1050 to adapt to the screen and I play often and it's annoying to have to have my games in windowed mode, because they extend off screen and I do not see the HUD. would appreciate help.

Well, that was a silly solution.

I went in my monitor settings and found the horizontal option adjust and it toggled up abit and hurry to the screen very well.

I feel a bit stupid now.

  • Hero image to fit the screen vertically?

I recently created a Web site with a navigation bar on the top of the home screen. Just below the navigation bar, I placed a hero image that spans the entire width of the page. I want to make this image extends all along the visible page by the person accessing the page. This means when they visit the site, they will see only the bar of navigation and the image of hero. Then when they start to scroll down, more of the page will be revealed. I found a great example of this at www.orangedigital.com.au

Any help will be much appreciated.

You can either use an image in the browser or the filling of the page or you can stretch the image vertically so that users get the option of scrolling the page on the image.

    Thank you

  • resize the window to fit the screen

I hooked to a monitor in my laptop.  When I open a program, and the screen is maximized, it shows on my computor screen, but does not show on my monitor.  I manually changed the size on my laptop, but the next time I open one program that I have to do it again.  How!

    Hello

Who is the manufacturer of the monitor?

I suggest you check by changing the display settings of the monitor. See the monitor manual learn more about display settings.

  • How to resize pictures to fit the screen without losing the proportions?

I am trying to create a PowerPoint presentation and it will essentially consist of pictures, text and background music.  I want pictures to fill the screen of my computer, so when I'm in 5 items, I go to the Image menu and then Image resize - size and changing the pixel dimensions here.  My monitor is set to 1280 x 1024 pixels and I'm trying to resize my photos at 1280 x 1024, so that they will fill all the screen when you view the PowerPoint presentation.  The problem is that when I go to resize photos, I must leave options maintain Proportions unchecked so that I can freely and manually enter the values I want for both the width and height according to my monitor dimensions.  When my photo is resized by using this method, the proportions will throw off and the picture looks a little funny.  But if I check, select the maintain Proportions, then I won't be able to enter a value for one of the dimensions given that items will automatically appear the other dimension for me.  In this way the proportions look good, but the photo does not completely fill the screen in the way that I want.

Is there some kind of workaround for this kind of catch-22 type of problem?

    Thank you

  • Unable to get Web page to fit the screen. Having to scroll left & right all the time

Just changed computers. Trouble with web pages.  Its so annoying I know that it is probably an easy way to fix it.  Has been

all the menus but its extremely frustrating to have to keep scrolling to read whole pages. And the HELP BUTTON is useless

Maybe you're just zoomed in too?

While in your web browser, try to maintain the "CTRL" key while you scroll the wheel of the mouse toward you.
Another way to do is to hold down the CTRL key and press on the "-" key (Ctrl - '-' zooms, Ctrl '+' zooms in).

  • editing of pages to fit the screen size

When I open internet explorer, it opens small, how to adapt to my screen?  I think something happened when I reset the default values.

    Three options.

1: take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.

2: any shortcut you use to launch the window, right-click, and select Properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down list, choose "expanded".

  • Resize images to fit the screen

    original title: LARGE images!

I would get my monitor to organize images without having to use the scroll bar to see the entire screen.  I had this problem for a while and it's boring now.  I looked in the section 'View' of my computer and have had no luck!  It's probably something simple, I can't find the solution.  HELP... • app iOS using AS3 don't fit the screen dimensions

I am building an iOS application using as3 and air to package the app on my iPhone 6. My problem is that I get a black bar above and below the app, the app itself is not full screen. Step screen is set to the dimensions of 6 iPhone screen.

I tried adding the following images of launch in the app folder. [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]. But it is not displayed correctly.

Does anyone have fixes for this?

    Hi messarimohamed

iPhone 6 & iPhone6 + require different Images of launch of older phones:
