• Firefox crashed after attempting to clear the browser's cache and cookies, and now it crashes everytime I open.

  This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  Step 1

  The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is localized to your user account.

  Select the feedback connections* and log in as a guest. Do not use the Safari connection only 'user comments' created by 'find my Mac '.

  While signed in as a guest, you will have access to your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you use them for the first time. Do not be alarmed by this behavior; It's normal.   Middle-clicking on a tab the farm, any means - by clicking on an empty area of the tab bar opens a new tab.

  A different behavior is probably caused by an add-on like Tab Mix Plus tab-based. If you are unsure if you have a such add-on, restart Firefox with disabled modules and check if the problem persists.
