'Flag', an email sync between computers?

Hello

in our society, we use a single particural (customer service) e-mail address in several computers. An important feature is 'mark' an email, or use colors (with some numbers, aka labels I think?). For some reason, not always to mark the function works. IMAP is implemented to all computers properly, so could anyone help why flag feature just works sometimes? This is a very important feature, and I can't find a solution to a problem.

IMAP also supports message tags, but the implementation is server specific. Some mail server products support, other are not. It is a bit a lottery when you try it first and if the vendor changes software vendors, then back to the lottery.

It is also with the values that can be marked. the numbers 0-9 appear to be preserved almost universally. Once you go to that is becomes a lottery.

You can connect to the server using telnet and query the server directly for information on what is managed and what values it supports. But this is a fairly advanced topic. Best, most often just try and see.

These information for better or worse are stored in the MSF file. It was considered a clue in the real mail in the mail store. The developers he call the database however since it actually contains the data from the indicator.     You cannot synchronize between computers, what can be done if, for the information of your E2 to the Vista 64 bit PC Sync via bluetooth. You can check in your device manager to see if the PC has already installed bluetooth. If it finds just the port bluetooth on your PC, put the E2 a few inches from the PC and in the hotsync Manager choose to hot sync through bluetooth. If you have not already installed on your PC, you will need to purchase a bluetooth USB bluetooth dongle, install the drivers that come with it and then synchronize. The first time you sync it might take a little while that according to the amount of data you have on the device.  I hope this helps...

    I have two laptops, running a Vista 32 bit and the other works under Windows 7 64-bit.  Can I use SkyDrive to synchronize folders and files between two computers?  I am the only user of both computers

    SkyDrive will be see no difference between the different OS and bit versions. You can upload your documents to SkyDrive from a Vista 32 bit and download them on a 64-bit of Windows 8, or even on a Mac.

    For a real-life example, I created earlier today a PowerPoint presentation using a 32-bit Office PowerPoint 2010 on a 32-bit Windows Home Premium, uploaded to SkyDrive and later at home, downloaded on my Windows 8 Pro 64-bit and continued to edit with Office PowerPoint 2013.

    Your files and documents "know not"what version of the program and the OS bits, they were created with. " Bit version is important when it comes programs and system files, not with your personal files and documents.

    I have Outlook 2003 installed on my home PC and that you have configured my Storm to have the same e-mail account.  I noticed a undesirable behavior that perhaps one of you gurus can solve.

    When my outlook is running and receives e-mail messages, they do not appear on my Storm.  When Outlook is not running that appear on the storm.

    I want to email to appear in both places.   Any ideas?

    It's probably pretty basic but I am a newbee with BB devices.

    IF you use Outlook to download your email on your desktop PC, Outlook is probably "remove" mail from your email server when it downloads on your PC.

    There is a setting in Outlook to "Leave Messages on server".

    For MS Outlook 2003:
    1. Outlook > tools > e-mail accounts > view or change existing > next.
    2. Select the e-mail account > change > additional settings.
    3. Advanced tab > leave a copy of Messages on the server
    4. check this box.

    * You will need to make this change for each Outlook e-mail account, you have.

    Other versions of Outlook have a similar setting, although it can be found in a slightly different place of the: Advanced settings.

    For several days, my calendar application (part of Mail, calendar & people) was not properly synchronize between computers.  If I run the application modern calendar on my Dell laptop to update Pro Windows 8.1, at a meeting of current calendar, it seems that I can make entries but after reboot the same computer or on another computer, the entries are lost.

    I thought that the answer might be that I need to uninstall and reinstall the app Mail, calendar & people.  But when I do, I meet the download of Windows Store pending problem that never ends and you try to run the troubleshooter Windows Update store still hangs on the re-registration of the Windows store.  None of the fixes suggested in the thread on the subject works for me:

    I am answering my own question as I've found running a registry cleaner on the affected computer registry errors found especially for Windows Store.  After the repair of the registry, Windows Store downloads work properly and I am unable to reinstall the Mail application, calendar, & people and it now correctly syncs between computers.  The registry cleaner that I happened to use that figure in the Norton Utilities 16 but I guess any other good registry cleaners might work as well.  Utility for troubleshooting Microsoft Windows Update store never work properly and that's it for me.  He would always hang on the re-registration of the Windows store.

    Microsoft must make its app Store Windows more reliable than to make a crucial Central application for Windows 8 (the application Mail, calendar & people) more robust and more functional.  I used the software to Microsoft for more than 32 years, but repeated like this with Windows 8 experiences are very encouraging.

    I already use FIrefox Sync option, and I love how it works. I like how it saves my bookmarks, passwords, history, etc., and it is easily accessible from my laptop.

    There is one problem that I have, that is how to synchronize groups of tabs between computers? I already know I can click "Tabs from other devices", but it will be either open them individually or you can select more than one, but in any case I see my tabs in groups. I have so many tabs and I have six groups.

    I tried to use other applications like Manager Session, tab Cloud, Session box, and they all do the same thing. They are great to save your tabs, but none of them save in groups. When I try to open all the links will open in a group.

    Hi vegsire, creating folders in bookmarks tab also is a good approach because it is much less fragile than tab groups in the session history data.

    iMessage used to sync between my iPhone and my computers very well. I was also able to answer incoming calls on my iPhone with computers. It seems that, just at the time I upgraded from Yosemite to El Capitan (or maybe iOS 9.1) synchronization no longer works. I tried pretty much everything I read on the forums, but nothing works. When I go into SETTINGS, MESSAGES and TRANSMISSION of MESSAGE TEXT on my iPhone and select the Mac Mini or MacBook Air, it will activate the program MESSAGES on the computer, but it won't send a code.

    to make it quite clear, Lightroom can't sync between two desktop computers. It can synchronize between only one computer and one or more mobile devices. Synchronization between computers has been a very requested feature, but Adobe has not given us yet. You will need to designate one of your computers as your main machine mounting and synchronization here. There are tricks to get all changes from one computer to another in phase, but these are not negligible and may corrupt catalog if you're not careful.

    After the announcement of this question, I was curious to see if I could manage a sort of synchronization with Hazel (noodlesoft.com, only for the Mac).

    And guess what?

    Yes, I did!

    At the moment, I can synchronize my file of keywords and Collections of bridge between an iMac and a MacBook Pro through my SIN (but it could also be DropBox or similar).

    What I've done (this only applies to people who use or wish to use, Hazel on their Mac (s)):

    I created a folder on my NAS called "bridge between the two.

    On my Mac (iMac and MBPro), I created a rule in Hazel to synchronize the "Collections" folder and the "Adobe Bridge Keywords.xml" file to the folder on the NAS.

    (This folder and files are located in the users/username/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Bridge CC')

    Because I do a sync and not a simple copy that crushes everything that carries the same name, the most recent files are copied and crushed.

    Then I let Hazel run a script, again on two Macs, so check between the local folder to Adobe Bridge and the folder on the NAS to see if anything on the NAS is more recent than on the local folder of Adobe Bridge.

    If so, these files are copied from the NAS in the local folder of existing files or Adobe Bridge, crushing everything.

    It's this simple dish, and it works for me because I have all of the Mac upward in exactly in the same way. It is important for the Collections of synchronization.

    The Collections in Bridge are simple XML (for example collection.filelist) files where the bridge stores the name and path of a file in the collection.

    In my case, this means that any file in a collection has the same path on Mac, as long as this file is located on a share of SIN or inside my (local) working folder everyday, that's synced between my Mac thanks to a very useful NAS utility.

    If you need to manage with Mac that are not set up exactly the same (username, folder locations and names etc.), you need to modify the Collections file to match it.

    And because these are files XML, a simple "search & replace" might do the trick.

    Bottom Line:

    The synchronization works for me because of two identical configured Macs. If this isn't the case, then the timing of Collections can be very difficult and time consuming (change the paths).

    Synchronization of key words or even a workspace of the bridge should be no problem, because there is no path or what that stored in these files.

    I hope someone benefits form my conclusions.

I am connected to Sync two computers, there is a message saying that Sync will begin momentarily, but then nothing happens. What Miss me? Will there be another step in the process?

    Problem solved. I don't know what magic happened, but this am when I opened Firefox on Mac and clicked sync, it worked. Brand-pages, modules, etc. are all here. Thanks for your replies.

    Try the settings/iCloud and remove the synchronization. Wait a few minutes and then resynchronize.

    Try to go into System Preferences/iCloud and stop synchronization. Wait a few minutes, then recheck the timing.

    Have you tried the signature to iCloud and then reconnect?

    Hi, you will need to create a sync account on the desktop, but does not synchronize the activity of browsers. After having a key synchronization you can use it between your devices.

  • iBooks has suddenly stopped sync between my iPhone and iPad

    iBooks has suddenly stopped syncing between my 6s iPhone and iPad Mini.  Both are running iOS 9.3, and the sync was working well for several days after I updated the two devices.  The two options of synchronization (bookmarks/notes and collections) are enabled for both devices.  And no matter on which device I add a bookmark or a note. It will not synchronize with the other device.

    I rebooted both devices and enabled the synchronization options, and then on again, but I was not able to run.

    Any ideas as to what is happening?

    I'm having the same problem. I have iBooks on my iPhone, iPad and Mac and I cannot get any of them to Favorites sync. However, purchases are synchronized.
