Flash Builder 4.6 Mobile Application packaging and export

Hi all

I'm new to Flash builder, using Flash Builder 4.6 to develop an android application.

She runs in office, no error occurs. But when I export it or try to run my

Phone SAMSUNG GALAXY Y S5360 it does not work. This is the version Android is 2.3.6

I plugged the USB with pc and tried to run the application on my phone.

First ask that you want to install ADOBE AIR for device I select the option 'YES' then he go for 57% and show me an error

Error occurred during the installation of the application: pkg:/data/local/tmp/Runtime.apk failure [INSTALL_FAILED_CPU_ABI_INCOMPATIBLE] s 3261 KB/s (8653085 bytes in 2.333)

And when I export and Release Build for .apk file. I select the Runtime in captivity.

Then, it displays a message

The package was created successfully, but the application could not be installed on one or more devices: device ID 0123456789ABCDEF(Google Android): problem occurred during the installation of ADOBE AIR.

Please guide me...

Thank you

After a search on the internet and have hands on this problem, I finally found the solution.

SAMSUNG Galaxy Y S5360 has 830 MHz ARMv6 CPU and minimum required the minimum system requirements for AIR 3.3 beta on Android:
CPU: Processor ARMv7 with Vector FPU, Minimum 550 MHz, OpenGL ES2.0 H.264 & AAC H/W decoders OS: Android 2.2, 2.3, 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 & 4.0 RAM: 256 MB RAM

Later, I used a Motorola mobile device with higher version my .apk file worked fine.

Thank you all for your efforts.

    We use Flash Pro CC creating animations with legends and export to html 5.  We must translate the captions in other languages. How can we download translation of texts in our flash animations so we can use them in html5 using CreateJS?  I use the Flash on a Mac OSX 10.10.3

    Are you familiar with JavaScript?

    It does not completely answer your question, but the text displayed on the screen from any language (ActionScript/CreateJS / [insert the programming language]) generally all following the same path. Each language has a file stored in some form of key = value style, named through the language and the country of your choice, for example en_US.json

    Any language would allow the user to choose regional settings. The application would then grab the appropriate file and everywhere where the text is needed, the script must be using a (usually global or singleton) variable/service that can get the text of the requested key.

    for example if I wanted a user to have a confirmation of dialogue who said 'are you sure?"with buttons for 'Yes' and 'No', I would have (for me), an Englishman, USA base file en_US.json with these values, for example:

    en_US. JSON example:

    {

    'CONFIRM_YES_NO': ' are you sure?

    'YES': '' Yes. ''

    'NO': 'no '.

    }

    Then you use simply JS/AJAX to read this file. You analyze, or simply JSON decode in an object, or manually, depending on what suits your needs. When you want to display any text, you use the object (variable, maintenance, etc.) you have stored these values.

    for example calling to display function confirm dialogue:

    Nickname... but if you understand...

    and this comes from jQuery UI (see here)

    function confirmDialog() {}

    $(«#dialog-confirmer»).dialog({)

    Title: LocalizationObject ['CONFIRM_YES_NO'],

    buttons:]

    {

    text: LocalizationObject ["YES"],

    Click: function() {/ / do something for 'yes '.

    }

    {

    text: LocalizationObject ["NO"],

    Click: function() {/ / do something to the 'no '.

    }

    ]

    });

    }

    Please consider loosely. 'LocalizationObject' is a variable object or service that returns the appropriate text for the key that you provide. In this case, he provided the key 'CONFIRM_YES_NO', 'YES' and 'NO', which must be on the right answer for this key, localized.

    Again, this is not a manual on how to do it via Flash Pro but it's the general conceptual way you could do it in any language. There are a variety of other ways to do it, but it's a very simple way, as long as you keep your key names at least wake up verbose. A key name such as LocalizationObject ["ABC123"] is not really tell you what the key can be referred. Also nest them contributes greatly, as LocalizationObject ["UI'] ['DIALOGUES'] ['CONFIRM'] ['YES_NO'] = ' are you sure? It just shows I nested the title of the dialog within the user interface, because it is the text that appears in the user interface rather than content. Then inside dialog boxes that may contain a variety of different dialog boxes. Then inside her CONFIRM type of dialogue. Finally, the type is a dialogue YES_NO type (as opposed to OK_CANCEL or JUST_OK, etc.). Whole set makes it easy to understand what the text of reading: UI YES_NO confirm DIALOG boxes.

    I hope that from here you can see that you need to review everywhere you display text on the screen and centralize it in a sort of object (function or variable) of your choice. You must store the external language files to prevent unnecessarily load the other languages as well as an easy to modify Setup.

    The rest is just using basic JavaScript.

    Just be ready for the most difficult challenge. At least for me. The size of the text in several languages is very different, and in some cases requires the loading of special fonts. This can make layout in a very difficult dynamic environment. Always thinking all text how big or small can be in any particular and plan field on this size more and shrink so that to handle this situation correctly.

  • Flash Builder 4.6 Mobile project using Blazeds & Extension Native

    Hello

    I'm building a Flex Mobile in FB project, which uses BlazeDS to access data through a project of spring and also a DONKEY file to access the contacts of the device.  I want to debug the application on a device connected with a USB cable, so to put my root files and output in the settings of the server using a UNC name, so it can be found from my device via my wifi network. I also added the native extension via the Build Path and package labels.  When I have an emulator debug office, things are OK and the extension correctly tells me that he is not taken in charge on the emulator. Here is the solution in case anyone else runs into this problem.  Flash Builder is to create the deployment at the launch, it converts the path mapped to a local path mutilated for donkey find the descriptor to a relative path, which can not be found and get the null pointer.  Making the path to output folder actually local to the computer, as opposed to the default which creates FB, solves the error and still lets blazeds access from the device.

  • Failed to launch! ApolloLaunchDelegate.fileDoesNotExist! in Flash Builder when debugging AIR applications

    Hello world

    I use flash/flex builder for years, but have never tried to create an AIR application before.  I tried to create a 'Hello' world app before wearing some of my stuff by following the instructions here:

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/air/1.5/devappsflex/WS5b3ccc516d4fbf351e63e3d118676a28bd-8000. HTML

    "but when I try to debug the code, I get the a dialog box"Unable to launch"with the useless comment! ApolloLaunchDelegate.fileDoesNotExist!'.

    I'm running win7x64, SDK 4.1

    I tried all kinds of different files in the AIR, including the value by default when you create an empty project and the conversion of copies of some of my existing flex projects on the desktop, but they all give the same message.

    Google does not help.  Any ideas would be welcome.

    Kenneth

    EDIT: just tried the same thing on my same version of flash builder on my laptop and it works... The laptop working Vistax64.  The only other different is that when I chose SDK 4.1 in the new project dialog box, he said, AIR 2.0, while on this machine, say, he needed air 1.5

    Hello

    You can check whether a SWF file has been generated in your bin-debug folder? Looking at the code FB, this happens when the SWF file does not exist. (Although I don't know why the error message is incorrect for you. Did pass you to FB 4 to 4.0.1 or are you on an own 4.0.1 install?)

    Try to check your view of 'Problems' to see if there are any compiler errors.

    Thank you

  • Application packages and Maintenace Packs manually without change Assistant

    With the help of FSCM 9.1 | Tools 8.53.04

    Our AC not working and we have a time-sensitive project to apply for a DEV db (1099 patch) and then move on to the Prod. I applied manually before the projects on previous projects and it causes import project, validate the project, create and build regional economic communities, change REB, build views, etc.

    However this must be done in order and changes can be made with deletions and without deletions and then DM scripts must be in the correct order

    Where can I get this information? It does not give the assistant to change model, and the manual_instructions doc contains only PIA manual configuration steps

    Packages, delivered by Oracle Maintenance packs await use change Wizard

    Two things here.

    (1) I agree with the STRONG recommendation to make this work.  This should be your top priority, as is the method of support.

    (2) keep 1) in mind, what is CA?  This is all just a method of execution through a number of related measures in the order.  A model of CA is a list of instructions (for example to migrate project, build scripts, run this script, run this app engine).  Because of this, you end up with a series of 100% reproducible steps to migrate the changes.  If you understand CA, you can turn this into a set of instructions for migration to run manually.  THIS RUN THE RISK of INTRODUCTION the ERROR HUMAN, but when something is time sensitive, it is technically possible (but not encouraged) to manually apply.

    Move forward but I would like to see all the developers to provide a CA model rather than a word like migration instructions document.  How many times have we seen migration does not altogether because of the slightly different migration settings? It can help us solve this problem.

  • PhoneGap build - where to put application icons and splashscreen files

    As build phonegap says to download only www.zip folder so I'm not able to understand where I should put the icons and the splashscreen for each platform folder. Should I put inside www?

    The reason for asking this question is that if we're supposed to keep the icons and splash inside www only so my application will become very heavy icons and useless and splash screen files will be added in my app that my application is cross-platform supported and I have included icons and splash for all platforms.

    If we are working offline (phonegap cli) then we used to keep files inside "res" outside the folder "www" and cordova build process automatically copy only specific platform icons and splash screen files, but here, it will add all the files even some of then are no longer required for the selected platform. Please let me know if one any idea on this subject.

    a. When you use Phonegap Build, your icons and splash are anywhere you want. BMP does not require a specific directory of your zip file structure. Neither requires a naming scheme.

    The best is:

    -have index.html and config.xml icon.png in the root directory of your zip

    -all the rest well organized, have you like

    -Make sure the paths in your config file are completely correct.

    For example:

    / index.html

    / config. XML

    Icon.PNG

    /myOtherPages/Page2.html

    /myOtherPages/page3.html

    /myOtherPages/page4.html

    / myOtherPages /...

    /myIcons/icon60.PNG

    /myIcons/icon90.PNG

    /myIcons/icon120.PNG

    / myIcons /...

    /mySplashes/splash320x480.PNG

    /mySplashes/splash480x320.PNG

    / mySplashes /...

    / myJavascriptfiles /...

    / myCSSfiles /...

    / myGraphics /...

    (b) make use of the file .pgbomit what is called to say a BMP to include only the directories and files that are required for each operating system.

    See the section commissioning of the BMPS documentation:

  • Pre-Noob question, Flash Builder for PHP and MySQL... can pack and write?

    So I am COMPLETELY new to Flash Builder and Flex universe, but I'm familiar with PHP / MySQL. One thing that has not been specifically stated to me, is what Flash Builder with (Zend) PHP with the MySQL database when it is packaged and exported? If he did enter the database and is able to execute the query PHP application to the MySQL database within the application?

    I'm confused if she needs to go on the web and communicate with the server. Can he communicate with a LOCAL database?

    Thank you!!

    No Flash Builder package not the final result with data base and

    webserver. To run your application locally you would need to have a

    PHP and Mysql Web server running on your local computer.

    Maybe watch using wamp http://www.wampserver.com

    http://www.imonggo.com/> on your local computer.

    Otherwise I suggest you will probably need to create your program in

    Java who can speak directly to local databases without the need for php.

  • Flash pro and flash builder: difference of resolution

    I have already developed with flash pro for Android (Actionscript 3 - android 2.3.3 - Air 2.6). I try to use Flash Builder (for more developer features).

    But with the same code (an example of Véronique Brossier book) I can not get the same result.

    With flash pro, my three sprites are 150, 350 and 550 pixels high.

    With flash builder, they run over 350, 550 and 750.

    I'have the same result on my device (Galaxy score) or imitated a.

    Flash pro I can specify the height and the width of the stage. I did find the same settings in flash builder.

    What could be wrong in my process?

    the main code is here:

    public void FirstApp() {}

    the constructor code

    var callButton:Sprite = createSprite (0xFF3300, 100, 100);

    callButton.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, callMe);

    addChild (callButton);

    var textButton:Sprite = createSprite (0x0099FF, 100, 200);

    textButton.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, textMe);

    addChild (textButton);

    var mailButton:Sprite = createSprite (0x00FF11, 100, 300);

    mailButton.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, mailMe);

    addChild (mailButton);

    }

    function createSprite(hue:int,_xPos:int,_yPos:int):Sprite {}

    var tmp:Sprite = new Sprite();

    tmp.graphics.beginFill (hue, 1);

    tmp.graphics.drawRect (PosX, Posy, 200, 100);

    tmp.graphics.endFill ();

    tmp.x = xPos;

    tmp.y = yPos;

    return tmp;

    }

    Yes, it is preferable to calculate the dimensions according to capabilies device to accommodate devices with different sizes and screen different portrait/landscape orientation.

    > I try to play with the StageScaleMode value without success. I would get the same result as in Flash pro. Flash pro, I specified the width and height of my internship and I asked an application "full screen" in the settings. Yes, wathever device I use, the application had the same look.

    Do you know if there is a way, in flash builder, in order to obtain this behavior?

    The value default StageScaleMode SHOW_ALL in this case if doesnot display of the device is the size of the scene that you specify in Flashpromanager.new, the content would be to evolve upwards or downwards in order to show all the content of the scene. This may show the borders if the proportions of the scene is not the same as the aspect ratio of the screen of the device.

    If you set it to StageScaleMode.NO_SCALE none of your content would be to evolve which explains why you see small Elves.

    To make it look like Flash Pro, in the SWF meta data tag, enter the height and identical width of Document Pro Flash width and height.

    together left-align at the top that you already do but let the StageScaleMode SHOW_ALL.

  • Flash pro CS55 vs. Flash Builder 45

    Dear Adobe community,

    I'm a programmer Flash Pro (AS3) for some time, but since the advent of the Adobe Air for Android and iOS this year, I saw increasing the amount of movement in the use of Flex and Flash Builder 4.5. For moderators/experts Adobe as well as community members, what in your opinion and your experience, are the benefits of a stay with Flash Pro to develop mobile applications with the help of Flash Builder 4.5?

    Thank you for your advice,

    Alex

    I love Flash Pro.

    If you want to do something that is more about the components and fluid patterns, the same application can be published quickly for different screens on the web, iOS, Android and PlayBook, then perhaps that Flash Builder would be good. Especially if you like more technical IDEs and most of what you do is AS3 code based package.

    If you are more on the use of components, graphics, animations, and completely free ways of working (even if you work with AS3 package approaches if you want), then Flash Pro is always a lot of fun to use.

  • Possible to pack the Air runtime with mobile application?

    Many friends told me that if my mobile needs something else to be installed to run application, they will stop. According to me, unless the majority of installed mobile Air runtime in the future. We need to make the installation easier to use.

    Can I bring the runtime with app? Or is there another autour work?

    Flex 4.6 / 3.0 introduced captive Runtime, Air which is exactly what you're asking.  You choose the version of Flex/Air to include in your application and it comes in the build.  This was the only option for iOS, but is also now available for Android.  When you export a Release version of your project in the latest version of Flash Builder, there is an option tab deployment "export application with the runtime in captivity".
