Flash Media Encoder .f4v file .avi after conversion more
This is my first time using Flash Media Encoder.
I converted a 168 MB. Video to AVI. F4V and the file that results is 302 MB.
Is this normal?
What could I have done wrong?
I'm not familiar with the CamStudio compression settings, but it seems to me that AVI bitrate is lower than your rate target for new coding. If this is the case, it makes sense that the new file is bigger.
It would be better to start with a high quality AVI if possible. Do not forget that you are compress again when you transcode the file, so in order to maintain the quality of the source, you have no choice but to encode with very high throughput. If you start with a source of high quality, you can reduce the speed of transmission during the encoding of the flv/f4v

Custom Resotluions within Flash Media Encoder 2.5?
I just spent the Logitech Fusion to the Logitech Quickcam pro 9000 Webcam. The 9000 pro has video recording HD (960 x 720 at least) capabilities. I plugged everything but inside FME 2.5 it lists up to 640 x 480 in resolution drop down. My old webcam (fusion) that is about 3 years old could be 720 x 576. So I was wondering if there are parameters to enable custom resolutions and unlock (for lack of better term) the higher resolutions, this camera is supposed to be able to do. Any help would be appreciated!Here is an answer to my question by an employee of logitech on the QuickcamTeam Web site.
We have done some tests and were able to confirm this behavior. Flash Media Encoder seems to use Video for Windows, a very old and obsolete API. For many reasons resolutions are not supported by VfW and unfortunately that includes resolutions > 640 x 480, which supports the QuickCam Pro 9000. (704 x 576 is not supported by the QuickCam Pro 9000, that's why the Flash Media Encoder do not.) We will check if there is an easy solution for this. If there is, it can be fixed in a later version of the QuickCam.
In the meantime, you can use any application that uses DirectShow. DirectShow exposes correctly all resolutions up to 1600 x 1200.

How to uninstall Media Encoder CC Mac OS (after installation of Media Encoder CC 2014)

I would like to uninstall Media Encoder CC as I now Media Encoder CC 2014 installed.
It is close to 2 GB and I need the space.
It is not a shortcut to uninstall as it is for most other applications CC?
Could I try by dragging to the trash but having read that adobe apps must be uninstalled with a uninstaller?

Frame adding flash Media Encoder
Using Media Encoder to create a .m2v for use in creation of DVD. Import a QT, and in encoding, it adds a random image that occurs about 32 minutes in the program to the 35 minute. I restarted, with the same result. I checked the original QT image by image and there is no such framework inside flash. The parameters are 2-pass VBR, target Bit rate 4.2 for a file which is long 1 h 43 min. Encoder would be glitching, and are there settings I can adjust to avoid it?
UPDATE:
A new QT from Final Cut (ProRes 422 instead of LT). Which worked well in the SOUL, no flash framework. We used this instead of compressor, because who added other artifacts in this specific case, but not a flash framework as TEA has done.
So, problem solved for now, but a few tips to avoid future problems would be appreciated.

I'm trying to make Maya TIFF sequences, but the files come out more than 3 GB for 400 senior or more.
I am trying to create compressed versions of images.

Rendering text solid composition layer after effects CC 2015 in Media Encoder produces jagged edges
Make a layer of solid text in AE publication in Media Encoder product crenellated edges (really, really jagged, artifacts not only) on the text layer when 1280 Vimeo HD rendering:
- Solid with the text layer, on the best quality switch
- Composition of EI is imported on Media Encoder
- 24 fps, 1280 x 780 Source Comp rendered using Vimeo 720 p
After Effects:

This looks much more than H.264 compression artifacts. Any ideas why the text could be made so differently/badly in Media Encoder?
So, it looks like a bug with the race on text rendering in Media Encoder:
- OSX
- After Effects 2015.0.1, build 13.5.1.48
- Media Encoder 2015.0.1, build 9.0.1.29
The text in red in the above examples has a white line (i.e. outline) applied with defined race "fill line". Withdrawal of the race and redisplay in Media encode appears to render text smoothly, albeit without the trait, I wanted to actually on this subject.

There are several codecs that can encode lossless video. An example is the video codec PNG in a QuickTime container. Another example (which corresponds to the After Effects output module named Lossless) is the video codec of Animation in a QuickTime container.

You can view and export to F4V or FLV formats if your intention is to play the videos in Flash Player.
