Flash Player, black screen, Yosemite 10.10 installation

Hi, I wonder if you can help.

I have an iMac running OS X Yosemite v. 10.10 and problems to install the flash player.

I tried several times... all I get a black screen.

I uninstalled Flash player (and checked to see if she disappeared...)

I ticked the box "allow the apps downloaded from Mac App Store and identified the developers...

I screamed to my mac, ripped off my hair and bite my nails to the quick... None of these things seem to work.

Can someone help me?

Thank you

    Hello

Please try to place your computer in a boot minimum scenerio.  It seems that there is a 3rd party application or process running which is the filler on your screen.

Once you find an app that runs on your computer that is the filler, please remove the startup item or delete/remove the program.  I hope that this information is beneficial.

  • Black screen during GeForce Driver installation or uninstallation 3D Vision.

Recently, I did a clean install on my PC. Then I downloaded GeForce and since my PC automatically updated an older version of the driver and installed Nvidia Audio and 3D vision drivers (THAT I don't WANT OR NEED), I chose the "Clean install" GeForce mode that removes Nvidia all previous programs and install the most recent drivers. Now, I did this because whenever I try to uninstall my computer 3D Vision driver manually it suddenly hits a black screen with the mouse still visible and stays there forever, unless I turn it off. Now, when I turn it on again once it does the same thing, but for some reason when I turn it on and the second time it starts normally. But when this happens, the 3D vision driver ends up not be uninstalled. I did a clean install of GeForce could solve this problem, but exactly the same thing eventually occur. If anyone is familiar with the program GeForce or Nvidia drivers could help me it would be much appreciated. I'm not going to turn off my PC, because I don't want to damage the disc hard environment installation (which I continue to have to do, but then get corrupted and I have to perform a clean installation of Windows to regain space lost since corrupted files). But for some reason this black screen where the mouse is always visible, will not disappear.

I found the problem, I think the drivers to reset my "resolution"setting"one incompatible with my monitor, setting the lowest possible at my screen resolution appears to have resolved the problem. The installation would be stuck as the pilots tried to change the resolution of the screen, a compatible with my monitor and be unable to make further progress. Fortunately, appears to no longer be the case.

  • Satellite A215-S7422: black screen after ATI driver installation

Please help me. I buy the Toshiba Satellite A215-s7422 laptop and install Windows XP.
After that I have download the driver for ATI Radeon x 1200 and install. After you reload a see black screen.

Hmmm on which site did you download and install the ATI graphics card driver?
The laptop seems to be produced and designed for the American market. That's why drivers should be downloaded from the Toshiba site we!

In any case, this problem seems very strange. In my opinion, you used everything simply wrong driver.
Try to start in safe mode using the F8 key at the beginning of the startup procedure and remove the graphics driver.
If this does not help, try to install the operating system using the Toshiba Recovery CD!

  • Black screen on startup after installation of the wireless router

I recently installed a Netgear Wireless - G Router (WGR614) on my computer vista HP laptop and since then, I have experienced a few problems. One day my computer was working fine. I stopped it and when I went to leave the next day morning, the screen was black with a bunch of small lines. It would not load anything so I stop and tried again. It's the same thing. I turned on and close my count, and when I opened it upward a few minutes later the screen was beautiful. Then, I have lived the "Blue Screen of death" 3 times. I researched what the problem might be and thought that I might need to update a driver. I went to HP Health Check and there were a couple of updates on a wireless adapter and a card reader, so I installed the updates. I have not experienced the blue screen since then, but I still have problems with the black screen when starting upwards. If I leave the computer open the black screen turns to a white/blue color and nothing loads. But if I close it then after a minute or two everything is. This could be the cause?

    Hello

Start with the wireless router is not the cause of the problems. It is a stand-alone device that simply provides a network connection for your system. Offhand, I would say that you experience a hardware failure, and perhaps the time is simply coincidence. Knowing what was the error message stop can help to indicate where the problem lies, but your description of the problem is quite indicative of a hardware problem. Solve it will probably require involving a technician (contact HP if it is still under warranty).

  • Flash Player 10.2.152.26 only / installation feature. Help?

The system is a Dell Inspiron age of 2 years

desktop computer with 204 GB of free space running Windows Vista (32 bit).  Security consists of Microsoft Security Essentials, Spybot Search & Destroy, Windows Defender (although the Defender has recently refused to open after restart) and, since yesterday, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.  A comprehensive yesterday with MBAB resulted in 4 elements are detected and quarantined.  A quick scan gave nothing today.  Security level is set to medium.  Internet zone is set to medium.  Active scripting is enabled in the trusted sites and internet area.

When I download Flash Player from the Adobe site or run it from the computer, it will appear in programs and features but won't play clips video or other foods that need.  No error message is displayed during the download.  Adobe.com/Software/Flash/about indicates that Flash Player is not installed.  I tried to disable the Windows Firewall and the Blocker when download/install and it makes no difference.

A strange thing - video clips in Real Player, which was seen originally with Flash Player and then downloaded will not play unless Flash Player will appear in programs and features.  So apparently Real Player recognizes that Flash Player is present (a form any).

    Any help much appreciated.

Hi, Yes, success is sweet, it took a little longer than usual, because of the Spybot. I'd rather be sure that heal in ensuring that no conflicts occur when executing this procedure.

You can reactivate your security programs. If you notice any conflict or instability, it is possible that TeaTimer can conflict with MSE. MSE has real-time protection and is also an anti-virus & Anti-Spyware. Spybot also has a component in real time from my understanding. If all three have worked without problem, then it is fine.

Sounds good, happy that the addon is correct also.

When you're done celebrating your victory, I'd appreciate that you marked your thread as answered! If someone with Spybot I'll send them here, LOL

Thank you all for your cooperation in this endeavour :-)

  • Flashing blue/black screen on installing the VM - Windows Server 2012 RC tools

    Hello

I have a problem with the installation of the tools from the virtual machine to a new server RC VM Workstation v8.0.2 2012 both 8.0.3: when the graphics driver is installed the machine virtual display flashes blue and black and can not be recovered.

Reboot safe mode allows the virtual machine to start with a working screen, where to find VM tools apparently not installed. I then had success removing the VM graphics card and from the virtual machine as usual. VM tools then displays correctly installed in the virtual machine, but there is no VM card in Device Manager.

I tried the suggestion here (http://communities.vmware.com/message/2059062#2059062) nothing works.

Someone at - he managed a successful VM Server 2012 RC tools installation?

    See you soon,.

    Conan.

I had this same problem when installing Server 2012 RC x 64 on my new machine simply active and virtual 3D graphics acceleration in the preferences of the VM.  This solved my problem.

  • Adobe Flash Player does not not even once the download installation is completed

I tried to go on several Web sites and content display - Youtube, lazy and some websites I need for educational purposes. When I try to view the contacts or download a song, I get a message saying that I need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player to do so. I have lived this process several times today, but each time I have download Adobe Flash Player, it tells me that the installation is complete. However, I am still unable to see the content or listen to the songs. I have restarted my computer several times and that didn't work. I see that the Flashplay is listed on my Add / Remove programs in the Control Panel, but it does not when I enter these sites. I called tech support a couple of times today with no resolution to my problem. Please HELP! What can I do? Thank you

Hi td, I do not know what OS you are using or the version of the browser, so I'll just make a guess :-)

With IE, go to tools > Manage Add ons and find the Shockwave Flash object... ActiveX control... Flash10d.ocx and make sure it's there and activated.

If the FF, go to plugins and see that the SWF, vs 10.0.42.34 is listed and enabled.

Also, go to add/remove and check the versions and lists of Java and post this info back. YouTube uses the latest version of Flash Player and the latest version of Java (which since yesterday is JRE 6 update 18)

    Thank you
