  The problem is that in both servers, I want to use ntp, and I wrote in the configuration on both servers,

  Server ntp.myorg.local iburst

  but we use two IPs for ntp, both resolved through dns servers, so in my case the first server got a single for the ntp server ip address and then got another ip. It was a problem and check postinstall determine that the servers use different time sources and do not like this situation.

  Once I changed ntpd config to use ips, check postinstall succeeded.

  Make sure that you have downloaded the Flash Player right as Firefox uses a different plugin than Internet Explorer (which uses ActiveX).

  ThinApp does not currently support 64-bit applications. We support the execution of 32-bit applications on 64-bit OS. I would say that the application that you have managed to capture is not a 64 bit application.

• [HELP] Problem with the restoration and recovery in the new host

  I have tried for two days, but still can't make it work.
  I took a hot (online) full backup archive as well as the control file logs with the SPFILE and then copy the backup to the new host with the same directory structure and parameters. Finally, I tried to restore and recover the database on the new host, but failed during the restore process.
  
  The original host and the new host have the same subject Oracle installed until the patch level. I couldn't understand the solution to this problem based on my knowledge on Oracle DB.

In a backup cold (assuming that the CLOSURE was not a SURRENDER but was NORMAL, TRANSACTIONAL, or IMMEDIATE) all files in the database (data files, redo log and controlfiles files) are 'compatible' - at the same point in time, to the same SCN. In a hot backup, the files are updated. RMAN is not necessarily take all the data files at the same time - for example when you have several data files, RMAN would backup the files in batches of 4 or 8 - data files are therefore controlled at different points in time.   Firefox must not be opened when the Flash Installer is run. Use the information and the following instructions...

  There are 2 versions of Adobe Flash:

  • an ActiveX version for IE only
  • a plug-in version for most of the other browsers including Firefox
  • On a Windows system, you must always update both individually.

  You don't seem to have the Plugin for Firefox installed version. If you did, in the Add-ons > Plugins you would see "Shockwave Flash (version)". If 'Shockwave Flash' is there and is disabled, click on the button "activate".
