I have a galaxy s3 and I know that adobe flash only is not supported on android devices any longer, but I did the thing where u check unknown sources and then download a version of flash player but its telling me download failed any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Your tablet (Kindle or Galaxy) uses the Android operating system.

Adobe has stopped ALL development of Flash for Android, last year. (July 2012) Which includes the Kindle, but also tablets from Samsung. Samsung and Amazon have also end support for Flash in ANY of their latest models of Tablet.

The following comes from Samsung Support (31/07/2013):

"Beginning August 15, 2012 we will use the configuration settings in the play of Google store to limit continuous access to the Flash Player updates for only devices that have already installed Flash Player. Devices that have not already installed Flash Player are more likely to be incompatible with Flash Player and will no longer be able to install from the Google game store after August 15, 2012. »

And taking care of the Kindle (31/07/2013):

"The browser silk Amazon Kindle Fire 1st generation supports some, but not all, versions of Flash. Adobe Flash is preinstalled on a Kindle 1st generation fire and is disabled by default.

If you see a message to install Flash while using your Fire Kindle, this means that the content you are trying to view using the Flash. If you want to view the content, you must enable Flash via the silk setting menu.

If a web page is suffering from slow performance because of the Flash, or if you are unable to view a web page with active Flash, we recommend to switch to mobile view when browsing a Flash-heavy site to see if that solves your problem:

Some popular Web sites may also have an application available. Check the Amazon Appstore, accessible through the application on your Fire Kindle library, to see availability.

"The browser web silk Amazon Kindle Fire of 2nd generation, Kindle Fire HD 7 '' and Kindle Fire HD 8.9 ' does not support Flash.

Some sites use Flash alternative web technologies in their mobile version. We recommend to switch to mobile view when you browse a Web site with Flash content to see if that solves your problem:

Some popular Web sites may also have an application available. Check the Amazon Appstore, accessible through the library of games or applications on your Fire Kindle, for availability".

There are earlier versions of Flash Player (for Android) at this link, but there is no guarantee that any of them will work.

  • Do I need Adobe Flash Player for Android?

I'm a bit unsure about whether I need of the product called Adobe Flash Player in order to view Flash content in Android FF, or if Flash support is integrated into the browser. My camera came with Flash Player installed in the ROM, but updates go to RAM and cannot be moved to the SD storage. Time now version 11.1, this is the largest application on my phone. I am trying to determine if I can remove it or not. IE if I uninstall Flash Player, FF will always play Flash content or it is based on the application of Adobe for this feature? Thank you.

Firefox will not play flash content without Adobe Flash Player, so if you want to display the flash, I would recommend leaving the app on your phone.

  • Cannot access the settings page for adobe flash player for installation

Hi guys, I have a Samsung android Tablet and I used to use adobe flashplayer until a recent update a few days ago. After the upgrade, I found that I can not see the pages on preview versions https://settings.adobe.com/flashplayer/mobile/f books on Google books. Briefly been searching the net I found that I need Flash for this function.

I manually downloaded flash player from the flash player Web page archives 11.1.  Even if flash player is now installed, everytime I try to open it, I am directed to a page online - https:// settings.adobe.com/flashplayer/mobile. This page is still empty.

I would be grateful if someone could guide me on how to access the settings page

    Kind regards

    Roman.

Changed using Flash Player as it is irrelevant to the beta.

Adobe no longer manages the Flash Player for Android, and he received no security updates in ages.  We strongly recommend that uninstall you it.  In addition, there a lot of malicious software distributed as a player from sources who are not Adobe Flash.  To minimize your risk of malware, only install applications directly from Adobe or through Google.  The vast majority of Android malware infections from the summary use third-party app store.

If you absolutely need Flash Player for your mobile device, there are a few browsers that operate a Linux Flash Player based in a data center and broadcast content to your phone.

Puffin Web browser - the fastest mobile browser with Flash support on cloud on iPad, iPhone and Android.

Flash Player photon & browser - Android applications on Google game

  • Cannot install Flash player on android Tablet using the chrome browser. Help, please!

I have a note galaxy android Tablet and I'm unable to download flash player. I have Chrome as my web browser and still nothing. Does anyone know of a work around for this issue?

It's the best option for users of Android and iOS that want to run Flash Player:

Puffin Web browser - the fastest mobile browser with Flash support on cloud on iPad, iPhone and Android.

Puffin works Flash Player on servers in the clouds and diffuse the results to your phone.  You get a Flash Player update, without needing to do something summary on your mobile device.

The other options require you to side load an older version not supported in Flash Player for Android which lacks 2 + years of security patches at this stage.  Available 3rd party app stores installers repackage flash and often contain malware.  Whatever it is, you are yourself leaving vulnerable.

  • Unable to update flash player on android Tablet

I have two android tablets.  one, recently acquired is a DX 752 iRola.  Trying to play some flash games on pogo.com - tells me that the flash player is outdated.   When I click on update, I get to the Games Shop and adobe applications.   I'm not allowed to update flash player as adobe seems more eager to my games to purchase my software updated.   I never have this problem on a real computer, laptop, or desktop.

This turns ver 4.2.2 tablet.   I don't know what version of Chrome for chrome says it is obsolete, but don't tell me the version.   I can't update the chrome browser because they want me to buy the games and apps and allow me to update the browser unless I do.

My other Tablet has the same question.

all in all it was a salutary experience.

In addition, I had to reset my password to adobe and then re-sign in after trying to post a question that I made above.

In my opinion not good customer service.

If you look at the list at http://www.adobe.com/devnet-apps/flashruntimes/certified-devices.html , you will see that there are not more Flash Player for Android versions after 4.0.4

    P.S., Adobe sells all games.

There is no more Flash Player for Android and there will be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Flash content playback is very non-rational processor and it drains your battery, also shorten the life of it. Android (Google) recommended "The Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to display Flash content with a motive under Android. They are both free in the GooglePlay store. • Hebrew is reversed using Flash Player in Android

    Hello

I work with Hebrew in my site which is developed with Adobe Flex 3.

When you work by using internet explore, I see Hebrew correctly, but when you use Android and the installation of adobe flash player for android (version 11.1.115.63), Hebrew is reversed.

Rather than see Hebrew from right to left, I see the word from left to right (mirrored). (Hebrew is a right to left language).

The flash drive, I installed is: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/andr oid/11.1.115.63/install_flash_player_ics.apk

Anyone have any idea how can I solve this problem for my clients to view Hebrew correctly?

Is this a problem with Adobe Flash Player?

    Thanks, Ido
