Flash Player v9 installation MSI fails when running as & quot; Local System & quot;

Hello

I will distribute Adobe Flash Player 9 by SMS. I use the own Adobe msi package: "install_flash_player_active_x.msi." All browsers are IE6 (Internet Explorer v6). All systems are running Windows XP SP2 + all updates.

I'm well aware of the number of ISScript 10.50 with DCom RUNAS keys.

The MSI package works very well as long as it is performed by a user with administrator (running in the user environment) rights.

But as it is installed by SMS (running as "Local System"), it fails.
I tried to run it as 'Local System' with the User Interface. I get the following error message:

The wizard was interrupted before that Adobe Flash Player 9 ActiveX could be completely installed.
Your system has not changed. To complete installation at another time, please run the installation again.
Click Finish to exit the wizard.

I dropped the original Adobe MSI package. Made a new and working, using the FlashPlayer Merge Module.

Please specify a different profile directory or use a different version of chrome"then if you click ok, it closes all the windows down. I figured a way to get a window to stay open, so I use chrome, now I have another browser that I can use but I don't like them at all, & do not have a flash drive since mine is incorporated with Chrome. So now to the other issue that began as soon as I downloaded this & I may not understand that, but I still want to get it out of my computer. • I too have ADOBE flash player 11 installation problems.

    Hi people.

Yes, I saw the other posts.

    I can't install it.

I have a version, but not later.

Sorry I don't know the version I have installed, but it would be about 7 or 8.

I read the messages of others who have had their resolved problem/s.

    Unfortunately they don't help me.

Initially I didn't know I had to release FF, so I tried again.

Downloaded the program, you leave FF and he ran.

When I run the .exe file, I get this:
    Initialization error occurred.

    Failed to initialize.

    And that's all.

Missing file and it does not install.

    Anyone?

I hope I'm not a fool of myself, but then again, it may be beneficial if I'm for love assistance of others.

I think you should try to uninstall the existing Flash Player, remove its registry entries and then try to install a new. In addition to the Adobe forums, display in a Windows forum could be useful concerning registry entries.

  • Flash Player 11 installs, XP

Hi, since being invited to update Flash Player, I now can't install it (FP11). Windows XP Home edition SP3. Pentium 4. No problem with the updates and prior versions, but now, I don't have any Flash Player at all. Error message is 'Flash Player ActiveX control could not be registered"and the installation will stop.

I am logged on as administrator, tried the mode safe mode as an administrator, have even downloaded SubInACL.msi and run reset_fp10.cmd in hope that she (SubInACL) would run on the publishing house. There can be no.

I have disabled the Windows Firewall, the script etc in IE 8, as suggested in another thread has allowed

I tried all the FP downloads in your help, saved and run directly. All come with the same error message and stops the installation. Hope you can help. Thank you.

Well... Today was day of Eureka. I finally got beyond the Active x to have omitted to register by downloading Microsoft Download manager, then the version FP 11 Installer .msi. Follow the links in the following response to someone else to get the right file to download (for my problem, in any case). :-

  • Reports of flash player into conflict with MSN when trying to install

I use Windows 7 (64) bit OS.  I was trying to watch a video when the display shows ESPN & quot; You need Adobe Flash Player to see this content & quot;  & quot; Click here to continue the & quot;  This brings you to the Adobe Flash Player Down Load for version 11.6.602.171.  Windows 7 Control Panel configuration, program features, Adobe Flash Player 11.6.602.171 is considered to be installed.   I tried to download the current version and the program has been downloaded.  Then I went through the installation routine.  When the progress bar has got 50%, he stopped and reported that MSN needs to be exited.  I closed MSN but the message came out of MSN.  I have tried several times but still get to the same place and cannot complete the installation.  As a result, I can't display quite a few videos on the internet.  How can I get Windows 7 and internet sites I want to watch videos on to recognize that I have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player?

Anything that uses Flash Player must be closed during installation; This includes MSN.

Check with the if task manager process tab it is still running in the background. in this case, to end the process.

  • Flash Player problem (installation)

Earlier today, I tried to use the iPlayer of the BBC and ITV Player, but was unable to do so, because a message came to the effect that I needed to upgrade to a new form of Adobe Flash Player. I would like to explain perhaps, that I have an iMac: OS X Yosemite, 10.10.3 Version.

Everything seemed to be gong well with installation, until I reached the point where the following pop-up appears:

Install Adobe Flash Player wants to do

changes. Type your password for this purpose.

I typed my password and press 'OK', but all that happened was that wobbled a little box.

I thought, perhaps, I forgot my password, so I applied for a new one; but still, nothing happened.

If someone can explain what I'm doing wrong, I will be very grateful. Moreover, the two "players" worked perfectly, later last night.

This password is presented by your operating system and is designed to prevent you from accidentally installing the software.

If it comes to your personal computer and you don't need a password to connect to the computer when it first starts, you can probably leave the password blank and click OK to go to this prompt.  If it comes to your personal computer and your normal password does not work, make sure that CAPS LOCK SHIFT is off, and then type the password carefully.

If this is your work machine and he asks an administrator password, well, you will need to have a conversation with your computer friendly.

If you are still puzzled, you may need to reset the password on your Mac:

  • Flash Player starts installation but 25% stop

    Hello

the problem started when I install the latest version of spotify, it didn't work on my Mac, so I look on the internet and I found that the problem was because I didn't have the latest version of Flash Player. I started the setup but it stopped at 25%, I tried so many times that I decided to uninstall the program and reinstall it. But still the same...

    Any solution please...?

    Hi Mrs.Perez,

I had exactly the same problem. I forgot that I installed recently a security antivirus application on my macbook. After disabling the system - and web-protection of the files of this application, the installation process completed perfectly. Then I reactivated protection modules. Could be a reason. .

    All the best from Germany!

  • Flash Player only installs on Mavericks

I downloaded Setup several times. I went through the instructions to uninstall all Adobe recommends and nothing works. The link to download the standalone version is bad. What is going on? I need to use Flash Player because of my work - we use Adobe Connect for doing seminars for our customers online and now it won't work. I tried to update and I did not. Can I download the installer, start to run it, and it always stops at 25 or 30 percent. Please help someone. None of the things that I could find on my own work, and I am quite knowledgeable.

    MacBook Pro 2.7 GHz

    10.9.5 OS

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you!

We update every month, sometimes more.  The easiest option is to select always allow Adobe update in Control Panel > Flash Player.

  • Workstation installation - MSI failed - Win 7 Pro 64-bit

    Hi all

I just got a new system and I am trying to install Workstation 7.1.2 (trial) on this subject. System is running Win 7 Professional 64 bit on a processor intel I5 (couldn't find anywhere if the processor is actually supported, but I think it is).

I get the error that says "the C:\*.* MSI failed.

I did some research and in vain the following solutions:

-run the file directly from c:\ (as administrator)

-changed the name of the installer to something simple (setup.exe, buggy.exe).

-extract the /e *.exe file and tried to start the installer directly

-changed the location of the temporary file in c:\temp

    -Run the *.exe/z "action"="install".

    -disable UAC

    -re-downloaded and tried new

-Downloaded the file smaller and tried everything again

I'm quite at my limit of frustration right now, so I thought maybe something had this figured out problem. Most of the posts here point to what I tried.

I have attached the log file in case someone noticed. I noticed a lot of messages "access denied to the LUA environment...". ». Other lines said that he could not find "eclipse.exe '...

I appreciate any idea on getting through this.

    Thanks in advance,

    rkaram

Have you had an older version before by chance? I think I saw a cleaning too listed in the downloads. Make sure that your antivirus and security software is disabled also. Which might be interfearing with the installation. It might be interesting to try the cleaning tool before attempting to install another.

  • Adobe Flash Player said that he downloaded when it didn't. have uninstalled and tried to reinstall

Recently, the reminder "Update Adobe Flash Player" appeared in the usual place, the lower right of my screen. I downloaded once, and everything was fine. Then he reminded me once again, and some sites told me that I needed to download, then I repeated the steps; He said always download was successful. Everything was always fine until today, when I tried to upload photos on eBay and I was told that I needed to update Adobe Flash Player to use their uploader image 'standard '. so, I clicked on the Adobe link and repeat the download and got "Download successful" again, but got the same message on eBay. Also as of today, their "base uploader" does not (that should not require an update). When it started, I look for Adobe Flash Player in my programs and not found, although when I went to the uninstall feature, it was on the list.
