  Andrew,

  First that you must answer - what you want to with flash recovery area (FRA). FRA may or may not be used with another technology - flashback database.

  (i) are you using a base of data of flashback (database +, not table or query flashback flashback), i.e. you have lit the flame of the database? If so, you need to use CRF because that's where the FB connect to go.

  (ii) If you don't use flashback database, you can, but you don't need to use FRA. FRA can be used for database backups and archived logs archived backups of logs.

  I strongly suggest not to use FRA for archived logs. As a corollary, I strongly suggest backups seprating and newspapers archived on separate file systems (and underlying disks), if possible. Don't forget, you can always re-create a lost backup using logs archived. but never an archived newspaper lost. If you have lost journal #345, but all the others to have #346-#1000, it doesn't matter; recovery stops at 345. So imagine put backups and newspapers archived on a single point of failure - you lost two of them.

  Therefore, I use different locations for backups and archived logs, somewhat defeat the purpose of the FRA, where both are supposed to go.

  Caveat: I do this for all important databases. If a database is not so important, well...

  First of all, what I am trying to build is a small laboratory at home that I can use to test some Microsoft server products. I already used vmware esxi but mainly used and installed Xen server for the last 4-5 years. I mainly use a NUC Intel and a small SAN storage (category House). But any means this is a production environment of all kinds.

  So, I started a new Eval of vSphere 6, downloaded and installed ESXi ISO image (includes VMware Tools) later at the time of writing (2015-07 / 07 | 6.0.0b | 348,50 MB | iso)

  Installed client tools and successfully connected to the host running on the NUC esxi. I was warned that the server is not an appropriate license and started the 60-day trial. I intend to install vSphere vCenter Server to a trial as well.

  Doubt / my question is: what happens to the expiration of the 60 day trial with ESXI installation? I understand that vCenter will stop working and I'm happy with the one that 60 days will be enough for me to trial it and because Im only build a laboratory of a host, there is not much anyway that I will conduct trials.

  However, I don't want to continue to use the laboratory that will perform on the ESXI host after the expiry of the 60 day trial. I remember on previous versions, there was a free version of the hypervisor. I hope that has not changed, otherwise I'll stick to other hypervisors.

  After the 60 day trial, ESXI without proper license NOT automatically turns in the free version of ESXI.   The recovery of the manufacturer partition must stay exactly as it was when the computer is started for the first time.

  Your problem when you use a backup utility.

  Utility backup will never use space on the C drive and always look for space on the NEXT available drive or partition. In your case, the next available drive has been the recovery partition.

  You should NEVER go back to a partition on the primary boot drive. This player is working harder than any other part of your computer, and the chances of failure are higher as a result.

  Get an external hard drive if you want to save anything and make sure that the device is disconnected when not not necessary...

  What to do about the recovery partition...

  According to what backup utility you used, go to the D drive and delete all backup files that have been made here.

  Windows backup uses the BKF file extension, so you will remove all files with the extension BKF.

• cfprefsd is always using almost 100% of the CPU

  We don't have the Flashback option enabled for this database. Now we intend to enable recovery flashback on this database option.

  Could you please help in finalizing the figures on how much Flashback recovery area, we need to get this implemented.

  Well, you're the only one who could answer this answer, but what to look at is:

  1. How much redo is generated by the database if it is enabled in archivelog mode. If it isn't, then you must analyze married how your online newspapers, can be restored for a day;
  2. What will be your SLA regarding archivelogs in the disc, the archivelogs backup routine and the retention time of flashback (flashback is activated)?
  3. After that, you can make sure how much area recovery Flashback database will need.

  Could someone tell me what is happening to resources when a program ends?
  Resources such as a "java.sql.Connection' or a 'java.nio.channels.WritableByteChannel" close automatically when an application ends?
  
  Also, is there some kind of garbage collection that takes place? According to Effective Java 2nd edition point 7, "it is quite possible, even likely, that a program ends without running finalizers on objects that are no longer available." What happens then?

  As stated above, you must always closed no matter what output buffering stream or writer yourself, otherwise you will lose data. You must close the database connections yourself, otherwise you get a commit or abandoned according to you and the seller may not so get the one you want. (You should be close connections to DBMS inside finally blocks actually and using a pool of connections, not held on them forever.)

  There are a few resources you do not need to clean: you don't need to have windows of Swing, for example, and you have not and cannot have MappedByteBuffers.

  I sent PDF files for review of a few people using a link to the shared file on our network in an e-mail. Everything seems to work very well, but one of the reviewers said sometimes must stop his commenting to halfway through, that he does not want to publish his comments again.   1. If the examiner wants to add comments, but not publish them, he can choose to 'Work offline' option drop-down menu button server icon in the bar of yellow color shown on top during the review.

  2 do a "Save as" does not create a new version. All comments added and published in this version will be present in the old control file as well and all other reveiwers. There is no need to copy the comments in return.

  3. If the reviewers add comments and close file without publication, they will be asked to save the file as a draft or publish comments or delete comments. They can choose to save it as a draft and go on adding comments in this copy, come back later and publish the unpublished comments.

  4. If all the commnts are published, there is no need to save the file. All comments can be recovered at any time by making a 'check for new comments.

  I've been subscribed to Adobe Illustrator since around may 2014 (1 year and 4 months). It relates to my debit card, and it's under the year payment plan (per month). I must have hit it by chance, since I wanted to pay per month plan. I am attached to money now and cannot afford to continue to pay for this subscription.

  Unfortunately, in order to stop my subscription, I need pay-out for the month (about $80 total). I went on the mode of payment to an old gift card, I had only enough money to pay for the subscription of the month of October. After that, what happens then? The card attached to my account will be empty, I won't be able to pay on my debit card either (current balance is a huge 6 money and I can't improve).

  Will they keep trying upload empty maps? Are they add costs or additional costs? (that I won't be able to pay, the debt of $20 of snowball into debt hundreds of dollars).

The last files in the folder "backupsets" shows XX in March 2010. In addition, any file in the folder archived online journal has been deleted by Oracle. No idea how to do to find out if Oracle 11g backup automatically and how solve the problem. It has only a small bit more than 65 GB of disk space in the recovery flash drive.

No matter if I use the Flash or HTML 5 player, the problem persists, my hard drive fills up, and now my Intel (r) 82801 PCI Bridge - 2448 driver is down, what happens?  I come on this forum and find others looking for answers to problems of the same nature. I don't know any of these people, but we are the same kind of problems. The only link I know that we have is 'Internet '. I don't know if it's a virus or some other bad online. Anyone with computer knowledge can see another link that can be the cause of these problems? It would be a good start to solve these problems. Obviously, something is happening or something happening around these problems.  Tips on how to find a common point or a fix would be much appreciated.

The total size of my libraries is 650 GB (when I add up the individual), but when I click on read the information for the reader, it says that I use 2 100 GB! It does not show that everything is on the disk. I went in each library individually in FCPX and deleted all THE files of rendering.  Reducing the total size of several concerts, but there are still almost 1 500 GB difference.

  I tried to copy all libraries on another drive and they occupy only 650 GB (with no unidentifiable used disk space). I'm a bit confused.  Someone at - it ideas?  I would like to release 1.5 TB that starting to use the new hard disk with only 650 GB and reformat the drive, but if there is some kind of hidden, important files on the original drive as FCPX needs to work properly I won't ruin the hundreds of hours I spent on editing. I hope that all makes sense. Thank you in advance.

  I have a Dell Studio 1555 laptop

  Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64-bit

  4 GB of Ram

  Intel Duo Core T6500 @ 2.1 GHZ

  I've had this laptop over a year now and it works perfectly but around a week ago, he went a little out of whack.

  Basically, no matter what programs are running my CPU usage will be 90-100%, which makes the laptop almost impossible to use.

  It comes and goes a bit, but for the majority of the time is around this margin. (for example I wrote that his party up to 10% once again, little about what I expected, but it will rocket upward again in a few minutes)
