  I want to ask if there are graphics drivers for my P200 with Radeon 2600 HD / 512MB newer than 8.413.3 (which are almost year), because I can't find anything (I tried several of Toshiba and ATI download pages).

  I put t know what do you mean with fresh windows but if you want to have the factory again settings you must install recovery image original Toshiba designed for your laptop model.

  What you can do is to use Google and search if you will be able to find pages with the description of disassembly.

  First of all if you want to use XP on this laptop then you need to update the BIOS to the XP version.

• Recovery for Satellite P200 DVDs

  Hello, I have a Satellite P200 12W computer and for some reason he couldn't start Windows correctly yesterday, I got a black screen.   Satellite P200 is old model of laptop, and I imagine that you can not control the original Vista recovery disk.
  As far as I know, and you can check, Satellite P200 is fully compatible to Win7 32-bit so I recommend you to install on your machine.

  Last year, I sold my former P200D I used with Win7 32 bit and I can say that I was very pleased with the performance.

  In any case, I think that they can not help you much. Toshiba doesn't supports the use of a third party hardware or software. What they will say, it is to contact the creative support. They have best experience with own product and know how it should work on Windows XP Home or Vista edition.

  I downloaded the update to the latest bios available on the Toshiba site for model Satellite P200 Windows Vista 32bits version 17. (Upgrade v1.40)
  The following directory structure is created in the bios-20080630110240, containing files; the program installation and SRAA250a.rom.

  When I run the Setup, the zip file extract but then stops: "the size of the rom file is incorrect. Upgrading the bios fails to take effect? Any suggestions will be most useful.

  I install this update of the bios in the hope that it will heal a display problem that I am experiencing. After a period of use, the display suddenly goes bright and can only be reversed by restarting the laptop. If anyone out there has experienced this?
