Floating toolbar at the top of my screen has gone...?

Previously, I had a toolbar at the top of my screen.  I gave my computer to someone to fix a printer problem, and it has now disappeared.

It was the same as the theme of all my other windows of color.  He had a collection of my icons essential, such as e-mail, internet explore, etc.  Some were General and extensible, such as who was a music note - when I clicked it, all my icons high audio... then when I clicked it, a small box dropped below and has iTunes, LimeWire, etc. I might also add dividers.  I could drag the icons from my office to the bar and he asked me if I wanted to remove the icon on the desktop.

He would remain on my desk, if I open a new window, but if I moved my mouse to the top of the screen, he would come forward, on top of the window, so I could open a new program without minimizing the window, I had open.  I searched and searched, but may not know what it was and how to get back on.  I think it was on my desk when I came to my computer, so I do not think that I added it myself.

Dell - Dell Dock computer? You will need to probably just find the program, and then restart it, then
Set it to run at startup.

Check with the support of Dell Dock here: (if not Dell check with the manufacturer of the system's support and their)

I already tried the restore but it is still there, what can I do?

Go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer/laptop > drivers and downloads Section > key in your model number > look for the latest Vista drivers > download/install them.

    Then:

    Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

  • Floating toolbar in the Windows 7 XP Mode disappears, wonky screen resolution

I have an external monitor that I set as office extended to my Windows 7 laptop. I have Win 7 on the laptop screen and XP Mode on the monitor.

I can't get the floating toolbar at the top of the full screen of XP Mode to return, on the external monitor. I have this marking THIS and now move the cursor to the top of the screen does not bring him back. I see that my computer is the resolution of the external display at 1920 x 1080, but XP says that his office is only 1920 x 1078 pixels. Any resolution I try, I keep losing these 2 rows of pixels at the top of the screen.

When I fullscreen enabled on my computer screen, the floating toolbar disappears and reappears just as it should, when I move the cursor to the top of the screen.

    Any suggestions?

    I solved this problem.

I was using a VGA cable to connect the external monitor to my laptop. I went to a DisplayPort/DVI cable, and itself has the problem.

The VGA cable must have been affecting the external monitor screen resolution.

If your computer has a DisplayPort or HDMI port, I advise to use this port for external displays.

  • I would like to have at least 1 of my toolbars that are displayed at the bottom of my browser open screen. How can I move a toolbar from the top to the bottom of the page?

I would like to have at least one of my toolbars that are displayed at the BOTTOM of my browser open screen. How can I move a toolbar from the top to the bottom of the page? I don't want to do this by using an extension, and when I read about the extension, I really have not seen how it would move the toolbar to the top-down any browser page open.
Thanks in advance for the supply, the answer and the procedure to get this accomplished.

You can't drag an entire toolbar to the bottom of the window. The Bar of the Addon is a "toolbar", drag whatever you want from the Palette to customize or a toolbar up to the bar of the Addon.

How can I get casscade toolbar at the top of the screen and not on the side

If you mean that you want the taskbar to be placed at the top of the screen...

Right-click on the taskbar, don't check that no check mark to 'lock the taskbar '.

    Method 1:

Left-click in the taskbar and HOLD > drag the taskbar to the top of the screen.

    Method 2:

Right click on the task bar > click Properties > tab taskbar at the top > in place of the taskbar on the screen, click on the pointer, and then select top > click OK when finished.

There should be an option on "customize this folder".  Click on that and then you can change customization of Contacts.

  • No menu or the toolbar at the top of the page, try screw up firefox and download the new version, still no menu or toolbar

I have google as my default homepage on my Mac. This morning when I opened Firefox Google home page fills the entire page, there is no menu or toolbar at the top of the page. I tried to click on F11 but it fills just the search bar with an f. I tried right clicking and clicking on 'ESC' but which does nothing. I tried to screw up my version of Firefox and download a new version, but when I opened it, it opened to the Google home page and there's still once a menu or toolbar. I did not restart my computer once I downloaded the new version of Firefox. I'll try that right now.

On Mac, command + shift + f should also switch between normal view and full screen.

Another method that may work is to drag the pointer of the mouse completely to the top of the screen. If the tab slides to the bottom bar, you can right click (Ctrl + click?) an empty area of the top (or right click on the button '+') and you should get a context menu runs with the option for Mode full-screen output.

    Does it work?

  • Thunderbird updated yesterday and now nothing is displayed except the toolbars at the top of the page. What should I do?

My address book is still there, and he has always shown that he downloaded my new messages, but there is no way to access it. The entire screen is white, except for the toolbars at the top. No Inbox, folders, nothing. Guess I should not be updated.

Well, fortunately, there are search engines. I was able to find an answer on justanswer.com. It was very simple. I just uninstalled the new updated version and reinstalled the old version which worked to oldapps.com. And voila, all my emails, settings, etc. as if by magic.
