Fluctuating speed - drivers Intel 2200 v8?

I had problems with my Tecra XP radio - speed fluctuates between 1 MB/s and 24 Mbps even with excellent signal. After doing some research, it seems that the problem is with the Intel card and occurs with most brands of laptop, with variable problems - mine being the least of them!

Someone recommended to try the version 8 drivers instead - someone has them?
No pressure on Intel Toshiba you know too ;)

I recommend you to install the latest driver on Toshiba WLAN support page - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/. 9.0.4.37 version there.

I understood that the version 9 drivers are more stable but not the driver version 9 applies to my laptop?

    Hello

If you check the driver information, I think that you will not know why it does not work. I have the same WLAN card on my Tecra M1 and our cards support the standard 802. 11, a / b. The driver that you want to have is for cards supporting the 802.11 standard, a / g, g.

I tried to install it on my Tecra but the same result.

Don t worry that everything is OK. If you buy a new Intel 2200 g card you can use.

    Hi bobbao

It's very nice to know that the new Intel wireless card works properly. As you can see, that the antenna cable is properly connected should avoid any problems. Some of the 1410 series come with WLAN and the other units are WLAN ready as your.

  • Satellite L300: Update the graphics drivers Intel Vista

Hello, a few days before had been developed new drivers for GMA X 3100.
I downloaded on the Intel site, but I can't install it.

I found a driver for this card graph on the Toshiba site, but the drivers were too old (September 2008).

Why not the Toshiba L series are updated?

    Hello

The graphics card drivers on the Toshiba driver page are the latest Toshiba drivers that are available for this graphics card.
Don t mix drivers Intel of origin with the drivers from Toshiba!
    There is a difference!

Intel driver don t support the overheating protection, but make the Toshiba drivers!

Of course, you can install Intel drivers using another method. You can install the drivers from Device Manager and could point to the place where the Intel driver was stored on the HARD drive.

But note; This Intel driver is not certified by Toshiba and you can ONLY use it at your OWN risk.

Hi, I'm having a problem installing some drivers intel on my Y50-70, I had some problems with my operating system and decided to downgrade to windows 7 which ended up having the Partition type change that wiped the drive, so I'm here.

I am on Windows 7 64 bit, I installed most of the pilots but there are 2 that don't work, the only pilot that actively, I installed is the driver for the webcam, because I'm paranoid

    Drivers that do not work:

If you do not need the engine management, don't bother installing the drivers for it. Disable in BIOS too.

The integrated graphics card driver, you must uncompress it, then install manually using the diskette in the Device Manager.

    Hello George

You cannot use Toshiba or Atheros driver for the Intel wireless adapter. This is known issue and I found an interesting topic about it.

  • Question of fluctuating speed video WRT320N

I have read a lot of posts on this forum and I have maybe there's no help for it, but I thought I'd try.  Please read them all, as I have tried several things found on this forum.

I have a WRT320N I bought several months ago.  I seem to have problems especially when you try to use the same videoconferencing as Skype, Yahoo or MSN.

When I'm on the 'wired' computer on my network, all right.  On my laptop, these programs do not work wll at all.  My laptop has a b/g/n wireless capability.

Although the quality of the signal is always excellent, I can watch the speed fluctuates anywhere from 72-144 Mbps.  144 is on it.

I have my setup of router to mixed 2 .4GHz, 20 MHz of bandwidth, with WPA2-Personal Security.  I tried almost every channel there is.

I tried WPA secruity and my speed dropped to 54Mbps... and remained strong thus... no fluctuation at all.  However, I got the same performance with above programs.

I also, as we see displayed a million times on this site, changed the tag to 75 interval and the thresholds of Fragmentation and RTS to 2304.

Nothing seems to change the performance of the router.  Currently, I'm writing this, I am less than 20 feet from the router and look the speed change regularly... earlier it is passed to 144 Mbps 65 less than a second, then slowly back up, then down again...

NOTE: I have flashed the Firmware to V1.0.03 build 010 as a month when working on this issue, and who was the latest firmware then.

    (3) wireless 4965AGN adapter is known to operate at only 54 Mbps with WEP or WPA with TKIP.  So you are right, it seems that you should not use WPA2 (WPA with AES =).   See this URL for more info on the 4965AGN:

    http://www.Intel.com/support/wireless/WLAN/4965AGN/sb/CS-025643.htm

Most of the phones '5 GHz' will not interfere with the band "5 GHz" to your router, because usually, they use different bands in the 5 GHz range.   Some 5 GHz phones also use the 2.4 GHz band, and which usually does not interfere with your router.  So, try to unplug the phone and see if that solves your problem.  Microwave ovens only seem to cause problems when they are turned on, so it is usually obvious what the cause of your problem.

To see this channel using your neighbors, to highlight their SSID, and then select "Properties".  Sometimes, there is a button for this.  Sometimes he must right click on the SSID, then select "Properties".  Sometimes you have to doubleclick the SSID and actually connect.    In some cases, software wireless adapter does not display an info channel.  After you find that your neighbors using, if possible, try to stay + 5 or - 5 channels of your more powerful neighbors.  If you can not say this channel using your neighbors, then simply try channels 1, 6 or 11 and see what works best.

Also try to again set the "width" to "large", '40 MHz' or 'Auto '.  With this, remove your standard and wide strips at least 2 channels for example, regularly try wide ring on 9 / 11.

    I hope this helps.

  • Drivers Intel P3700 for VSANS?

I worked with our VMWare team to design a VSAN out and it included some Intel P3700 PCIe cards like the layer flash supported by about 1.2 TB of Seagate sas disks 10 k for storage.  Unfortunately, even of the P3700 disappeared not on the HCL, and I am currently "chasing my tail" with latency, and i/o pending.  I opened a SR, but recommended for the H730 drivers do not seem to do anything.  And I'm fairly certain that's not the issue (deactivation does not seem to be a problem).  I understand that the P3700 didn't HCL yet, but it is still ongoing and so many white papers were written with this card as part of the architecture.

    It's all running VMWare 6. 0 b (VMware ESXi 6.0.0 build 2494585 on hosts)

    Material:

    -From r630 Dell (30)

    -2 x Intel P3700 400 GB Flash cards (driver intel-nvme - 1.0e.1.1 - 1OEM.550.0.0.1391871.x86_64.vib)

    -10 x 1.2 TB SAS of Seagate 10 k disks

-H730 Dell RAID controller in HBA mode with cache is disabled, etc. (drivers for this were something to worry about, but since I assume that the first writings go directly to PCIe cards, I don't think that's the question long - firmware 25.3.0.0016 pilot 6.606.12.00)

    -Intel X 710 with DAC 2 x 10 Gb connections

    -4 x Juniper QFX5100 10 GB switches (15 r630 by 2 switches, scaling up to 30 servers in 2 past later)

SAN traffic exceeds 2 uplink (with uplink 1 standby), everything else is plus 1 uplink (with uplink 2 as before)-working on a plan to spend LACP, but it is still under construction

The current workload is very low.  It is only about 6 Production VM running on that cluster to the repositories of the project and kicking the tires, with the idea that 500-1000 VM will be launched upward in the coming months.  For the majority of virtual machines, the performance is not essential, but some of the problems I see currently are a bit a showstopper.

    Problems:

If I run "bonnie ++ u root" on a virtual machine single, I can see the latency time to go up to 65, 000ms (Yes, really 65 k ms) and the virtual machine is basically responding (100% iowait and very rarely is able to write i/o because of the huge latency).  The write buffer is never very full during this period (stuck at 30% and deactivation does not start even during the race.)  Similar issues occur ATTO Disk Benchmark running on a windows system with a disk queue high (4 seems to be well, 10 kills of the VM)

I can get very high write speeds (500 - 800 MB/s or more), but as soon as the latency time leapt to a few 100 ms, it's all downhill.

Even with a fairly simple recording VM with all our guests directed to these, I get occasional spikes of latency (1400ms +, with an average of 15ms, which seems high even).  This box just works a lot of entries to logstash and a hint of elasticsearch with occasional when bed kibana someone shows something.

Y at - it no rider special I read somewhere for the P3700 Intel?  Another thing that I really should look into?  I'm tired of chasing my tail and want to start the actual load of the migration to this new cluster.  I tried RAID0 on a small cluster of 4 boxes, but that wasn't much better and is much more boring.

I use the 1.6 and 2.0 TB P3700 cards in my VSAN without problem. I have a similar setup, except using r730xd, the same with the same firmware + drivers raid card, also on 6. 0b. When I originally put in place, I could see peaks of latency high 200-400 + ms, it was resolved by updating the drivers of NETWORK card for me. I use a NIC (Intel X 540 - AT2), different, but the firmware upgrade + the driver for my NIC brings my latency ~ 3ms avg and blip occasional peak at ~ 15ms. Probably worth to update any firmware on your X 710 and use the appropriate driver on VMWare HCL VMware Compatibility Guide: search for i/o device

I've also seen really bad latency problems out of network configuration problem. In our case that we had a link to 1 GB failover in case our 10 GB failed, but instead things are started to be load-balanced and performance/latency was very poor until we noticed that the 1 GB has been fully utilized.

Also try to use the Inbox NVME driver, I ran on it without problem before Intel released the driver 1.1 you use now. In my limited testing, Intel drivers are slightly faster performance but nothing majorly different.

  • Problem with the latest graphics drivers Intel 82830 M graphics Satellite 1100

I have a 1100 Satellite with the Intel 82830 M graphics card. The latest driver is version 14.7 which I just installed - icon of graph in the right lower corner of a multicolored square changes a blue screen when you install this, and the mouseover text says "Intel(r) Extreme Graphics.

However, since installing it, my screen freezes everytime I start a game, or if I go into display properties & change anything. A hard reboot is required. Also, the startup process takes 2 - 3 times as long since this upgrade.

Everyone knows about this problem? Does anyone know of a solution? I've seen a few posts on other forums about this, including some say that this problem came from XP Service Pack 2. Can anyone confirm this?

    Hello

I assume that you have installed the driver for graphics card on the Intel site and you do NOT use a graphic driver Toshiba, which has been designed especially for the use of the laptop.
Well, Toshiba recommend that you use the drivers from Toshiba. In this case, you should try to use the recommended graphic driver that you can download from the Toshiba driver page.

  • Portege M700 - latest drivers Intel WLAN produce errors of JUDGMENT with Vista32

    Hello

I recently installed the new Intel v12.2.0.0 WLAN drivers. Since that time, I'm expieriencing sporadic Bluescreens STOP during startup. It took me a while to understand it is in fact the WLAN driver. But after installing Vista64 and Vista32 (Business Edition) the most recent original MS SP1 DVD and doing nothing else than the installation of the WLAN driver, I can confirm that it is indeed the WLAN driver that is causing the Bluescreens. Strangely, this problem does not apply to the Vista64. I don't know why, but since Vista64 missing support Toshiba UMTS modem, using it is not an option.

I just wanted people to know, in case someone runs into it, so it doesn't have to spend so much to pin the source ;)
Maybe some guys from Toshiba, who might be reading this can solve the problem, or to file a bug with Intel report. Until then, the latest version of Toshiba (12.0.0.73) works very well.

    Matthias

I'm not very well why the page Intel WLan driver creates a few BSOD but Toshiba m is recommended to always use the drivers from the Toshiba page because these drivers are tested and certified.

So if the WLan driver in Toshiba page works very well stick with this driver and don t use the Intel page
