• Print to PDF generates additional page 'report '.

  When I print to pdf from Word, IE, or any other program, it creates an extra page in the pdf file that lists the file name, directory, model, title, subject, etc...  See screenshot below.  This extra page is really annoying to have to delete every time.  Is there a setting I can change to not have this extra page create every time?  I use Adobe Acrobat 9.  Thank you.

  

  This is a problem of configuration Ms. In WORD, select the Adobe PDF printer, and then at the bottom of the print screen select Options (I'm looking at WORD 2007). You will be on the view menu, and under Print Options, make sure that the printed Document properties is disabled. One way to test the question is printing to any other printer and you will probably get the extra page, unless you disable this option. So you not speak a WORD option, an option in Acrobat. It is often the case that the problems seen when printing are driven application and not Acrobat leads.

  Can someone tell me how to change the documentname tab. For example: I created a file with the name xxx.pdf. Now, I have made a few changes and saved the document. I want to give the document a new name. If I rename the file in windows Explorer, the file will get the new name, but Adobe DC Pro displays the old name in the tab.

  Go to file - properties and under the initial view, select Show "File Name" instead of "title of Document".

  Recently, I had problems with trying to print PDFs of the documents created by others. I use comment tools and would like to make their 'uneditable '. Normally in the past, that I did it by printing the document to the pdf format, but for some reason lately any output file appears as a ps file? Looking at the original file, it seems that they have been drawn in the ps. Can I fix or what I have to go to the source of the file and ask them to create a PDF vs ps?

  I use Acrobat - 9 Standard, so maybe that's the question?

  In the print dialog box disable the entry "Print to File".

  With Acrobat Distiller, you can convert PS to PDF.

  I am fairly new to this...

  I have a PDF document and when I print it, I want the name of the printer and the print date/time to be shown on the printer output.

  I have several printers (some common and some on the network) and do not necessarily use the default. I would like the name of the printer used to be printed on the document.

  With : var = this.getField ("Printer"); h.value = app.printerNames; I am able to get the list of all available printers, but I just need one that is used.

  For the date and time, using the var f = this.getField ("Today"); f.value = util.printd ("j/mmm/yyyy", new Date()); gives me the time of when the document is opened, not when the document is printed. (or maybe I'm missing something?)

  I guess the question of the date/time is not major, because there is usually not much difference between the time that you open the document and the time you print it.

  I'm more interested in the name of the printer.

  I use Acrobat 9 Pro to edit my PDF document.

  one thing that I stumbled upon: If you create a project of IMP - NG, plugins Eclipse ME generate a wrong value for microedition profile. They write ' IMP - NG - 2.0 ", that the correct value is 'IMP - NG". If you run the project with an incorrect value, you simply no reaction. If you open the log console or the emulator device, you will see an exception:

  It's problem of MTJ plugin on that we are based. It cannot be fixed on the side of ME SDK, but you can use after the workaround:

  1. go in the Application descriptor > tab Application descriptor
  2. change manually:
  Microedition-profile: IMP - NG - 2.0
  TO
  Microedition-profile: IMP - NG
  3. save the application descriptor

  JPG--> I get file names Scan50001, -0002, -0003

  PDF--> I get file names Aug_ssn_GPunto_lug20140001, -0002, -0003

  The Red prefix is the name of the first scan to PDF, I did, which is repeated at any time.

  Is there a way to change this?

  You can change, but it will keep up to your change as a prefix or you will have to appoint one by one afterwards. To change the prefix, please try your computer

  • Click the icon on the desktop printer,
  • Click on scan a Document or Photo.
  • Click on advanced (near bottom right).
  • Click the Destination tab,
  • Change file name,
  • Click Ok

  (The same for each type).

• HP Laserjet pro P1606 does not print some pdf documents

  My HP laserjet P1606 does not print some pdf documents.  It is connected via USB to my imac (OS 10.7.5; Adobe Reader 9.5.5). My wireless HP Photosmart 6520 has no problem printing my pdf docs.   Not sure why some files pdf is able to print on the P1606 and others not.  All solutions?

  I understand that you are not able to print all the PDFs of the HP Laserjet P1606dn, but can the Photosmart 6520. I can help you with this.

  Run all the updates to Adobe Reader to see if that helps. The latest version is 11.0.

  It could be a problem with the language of the printer.

  The Laserjet P1606dn printer is failed and the printer Photosmart 6520 PCL3 GUI language.

  I'm trying to use LiveCycle PDF Generator ES2 to convert a DWG file to pdf using LiveCycle UI admin and the LiveCycle API webservice. In both cases, I got the error:

  'This file type is not supported by LiveCycle PDF Generator ES2.'

  • Why I get this error, even if "dwg" files are listed in a supported file format?
  • Is there any specific configuration files 'dwg' to pdf conversion, given that other file formats that I tried (Office formats and image) is converted successfully?

  Please note that I use a trial version of Adobe LiveCycle provided by Adobe.

  (1) for the creation of Proxy JMS in the transportation Configuration page select get all the headers = Yes
  (2) if the name of the file is set as defined by the JMS message property user then use $Header in your pipeline/message flow. This variable can contain your user-defined properties. If the user sets the property is part of the JMS message and then use $body.
