  What you say seems very strange. Let's drill a little further:

  1. Click on the globe to start, type three letters cmd and press ENTER.
  2. Type the following commands EXACTLY as they are and press ENTER after each one:
     MD C:\Logs

  Deleting messages only marks them for deletion and mask them. The space is not released until you compact the folder. You compact individual records by clicking on the folder and select folder Compact or you compact all folders by selecting the Compact on the file menu.

  You do not need to use and should not use Bcc: in mail merge. Each message is sent to a single consignee. Because this message is only there is no point or value to hide the recipients.   The mailbox list is divided into categories with such topics on my Mac. When you position the cursor on one of these positions (with the exception of the mailboxes), you should see the Word display / hide it on the right. Click view, if that's what you see.

  You have apparent dbx file corruption. A common problem.
   
  Spend most of your messages out of the Inbox and then create new folders to send and sent items box after having moved the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.
   
  Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.
   
  In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.
   
  With OE closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them.  New ones will be created automatically when you open OE.
   
  After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.
