  Method 1:
  Run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check. Please follow these steps:

  a. press Windows + W keys, type Troubleshooting in the search box and press on Enter.
  b. click on 'show all' and then click 'hardware and devices'.
  c. click 'Next' and then follow the on-screen instructions.

  If this does not help, then use method 2.

  Method 2:
  Start your computer in safe mode and check the number.

• Firefox 17.0.7. Display the menu, when you are using extended view (Win7), flickers off when you move the slider to a selection. Reg FF version works fine.

  When I use internet explore 64-bit and try to print, I get a "Script error" message and it will not be printed.

  It's OK on 32-bit.

  I can't update my HP software because I lose total wireless communications and have to do a restore to get it working again.

  Script errors are related to how the site behaves with a browser.

  In this case, is printing script that is having a problem and it seems to be with Internet Explorer 64-bit because it works very well with Internet Explorer 32-bit.

  64-bit web browsing is still a very small part of the web sites and very few fully support 64-bit, browsing experience.  I strongly recommend using a 32-bit web browser for viewing Web sites as this will give you the best compatibility as all Web sites still supports 32-bit navigation, but not all sites are fully compatible with 64-bit browsers.

• Name resolution fails when you are using multiple static IP addresses

  When multiple static IP addresses are set on my single Ethernet adapter, name resolution fails most of the time in both directions. It sometimes works, but this seems like only I can when he in thing to go back to the IP address of a specific subnet (changing the order of the IP addresses in the config?).

  Settings IPv4 of the Ethernet adapter (which I will refer to PC - 1, Win8) are generally the following:
  IP: 192.168.15.180/24
  IP: 192.168.1.254/24
  IP: 169.254.1.1/16
  Gateway: 192.168.15.1

  Check name resolution from another PC (which I will refer to PC - 2, Win7) on the 192.168.15.0 subnet via ping returns often to the other two survey periods. PC - 2 IPv4 settings are:
  IP: 192.168.15.182/24
  Gateway: 192.168.15.1

  PC - 2:
  c:\>ping PC-1
  Ping PC-1 [192.168.1.254] with 32 bytes of data:
  Request Timed Out

  The outcome here is, of course, the PC-1 sees a query of a computer name on 192.168.15.0 subnet and it returns the IP address for this subnet.

  In addition, and more to my main problem, PC - 1 does not return an IP address for our servers local (I'll call Server-1), returns the following error.
  c:\>Ping Server-1
  Ping request could not find host Server-1. Please check the name and try again.
  Ping the IP address directly works without problem.

  The two problems are solved when the two 169.254.0.0 192.168.1.0 and subnet subnet are removed from the PC-1, leaving only the statically assigned subnet 192.168.15.0. The issue can be reproduced on 2 PC (Win7) as well by assigning similar static IP.

  Does anyone have a suggestion or two to try?

• BEEP graphical report shows zero when data are missing in EBS instead of null

  I have a rtf model and an xml data file. When I generate the release, beep desktop tool, the graph shows the value as null as expected. But the same thing when I try to preview the output in xml editor responsibility in ebs, null values are shown as a zero in the graph.

  Download the rtf, xml and the release of the desktop ebs and beep tool.

  Please advise on how to display the value null when the data aren't there in a graphic that is in the rtf model in EBS.

  The BSE file is secure so I don't see the version,

  but probably you are on a version lower than desktop computer (10.1.3.4.1).

• Mirage Pivot fails when you are using software that replaces the Windows Login (GINA) as Imprivata

  When you try to perform a migration recently at a client site the pivot process has not completed as planned because of Imprivata. Imprivata is a SINGLE sign that seems to replace the Windows GINA and provides a custom login screen.

  During an attempt of the Pivot process (Mirage 4.3) the start of Windows Update screen does not appear and the standard Windows login is displayed. When you manually login customer Mirage shows the USMT process is underway. This allows users to log in and is generally not the process but it does not complete the USMT process and join the domain.

  This is due to the customer Imprivata, although we suspect that would happen with any product which replaces GINA of Windows.

  Workaround solution:

  We are uninstalling the client of the base image Imprivata and try to apply this to be an application layer or display the migration script.

  Has anyone else had this problem with a SINGLE sign or a custom GINA solution?

  I'm doing http post requests from Illustrator ExtendScript (via BridgeTalk) and most of the time it works. However, the documentation on the use of HttpConnection is nonexistent and trying to find a way to set http headers. The HttpConnection object have once requestheaders and responseheaders property so I suspect it's possible.

  
  

  By default, post requests are sent with the header Content-Type "text/html", and I would like to replace so that I can use "application/x-www-formulaires-urlencoded" or "multipart/form-data".

  Things to note:

  1. If I try to set the property requestheaders as in my code above, the request fails. If I comment on him, the request succeeds. The default value for requestheaders is not set.

  Using the ExtendScript SDK, I discovered the responseheaders property is an array of this format: ['Connection', 'keep-alive', 'Content-Length', 2, 'Content-Type', ' text/html'...]

  I tried to put the requestheaders for the same format (I've tried both ['Content-Type', "application/x-www-formulaires-urlencoded"] and ['Connection', 'keep-alive', 'Content-Length', 2, 'Content-Type', "application/x-www-formulaires-urlencoded"...]) with no luck

  The key to set the content-type header is set the property http.mime as follows:

• Graphic bar disappear when data are 0

  When I use bar graphs to show some measures say effective for a period of time, and if I don't have all the data for a few months in particular, there simply does not appear in the graph bar.
  
  For example, I want to see data for Feb, March and April, and there is no data for the Apr, I can't see the two graphs for February and March.
  
  Is it possible to get the names of the three months shown on the axis, but for the month of April it should be empty?

  Hi Swetha,

  The reason for this is the same for why your IFNULL failed in post IFNULL does not work in the PivotTable .

  As I recommended in this post, if you want to see every month, so you have to time your table your driving in your DR. and external table attach it to your fact table. That will ensure that each period has at least 1 value, which could potentially be NULL then you will want to is IFNULL.

• Adding printer series HP PSC2100 via the IP Port, type of printer does not show on the list of devices even when you are using the factory supplied driver disk.

  Installation D-Link DP-301U network home of three computers. I am able to access the printers using its IP address, Setup has worked with Vista Ultimate system but two systems of Windows XP Pro (SP3) does not Printer series HP PSC2100 list when you use the 'Disk' during installation radio button.   Thank you for your message.  Try the following steps to add your printer.
  Click "Start" > select "printers and faxes".
  Click on 'Add printer' > click 'Next' > select ' local printer, and then make sure that detect automatically is disabled
  Select "Create a new Port" and the arrow down to "Standard TCP/IP Port" > click "next".
  Click "next".
  Type the IP address and click on 'Next' > 'Finish '.
  You must then install the driver/software for your device.  You can use "Have Disk", download from website, or find your model.

• Acrobat Standard vs. Pro when you are using the SDK

  I'm developing a prototype for a project using the Acrobat SDK kit. The customer will have 13 ~ licenses for Acrobat standard and NOT Pro. To develop my prototype, I downloaded the demo of Acrobat that seems only to install the PRO edition and does not have the ability to install the Standard Edition version.

  I need to know that the prototype and the final product that uses the kit SDK Acrobat will work with Acrobat Standard of the IEN facilities and NOT ask the customer to upgrade to Pro.

  My question is how can I know that the prototype and the final product will require only Acrobat Standard and not Pro, since apparently I have not access to a facility for the Standard edition version, but only the Pro edition? Is it true that all APIs are the same between Standard and Pro?

  If you use any API which is only in Pro and not in the standard (and the number of people is VERY SMALL) - it will work fine in the standard.   The documentation will tell you if a given API is Pro only.
