  I've been messing around with my photo library, and now when I try to sync my iPad, iTunes does not see my photo library.  The Photos app connects to the library, which is located in the folder images for the user account, no problem.  But when I connect the iPad to the iMac and iTunes opens, if I click on the header of Photos on my iPad, sync Photos box is unchecked, and when selected, the option copy photos pictures, looks as the pictures in the folder is empty, when in fact the photo library is located here.  She received no related some how?  I had my library on an external drive and passed to the user account on the internal disk without problem.

  It is surprising how a simple search does not turn the answer to such a question, which one would think would be quite a common problem.  Indeed, several people asked similar questions, but often with no response.  However, I managed to find the solution on manual site Apple of all places.  And in the interest of the public service will post it here.  The problem is even if I had taken my photo library with the preferences window, I had not designated 'Library system' as in below.

  Hi all. I'm really tired. I found the wires on both of my two really big problems, but none of the solutions listed seem to work. First of all, I will explain what is happening and then possible factors that may have led to this State. I use an iPhone with iOS 9.3.5 5s.

  Maybe the cause of the first problem, or somehow related, is that the iTunes on the phone app is now unusable. This is especially weird because after all these restorations of all other applications work fine! Mail, various games, Safari, line; they work perfectly (well, as they always have).

  But after each restore, when I try to open the music application, it would break. After restarting the phone, the application opens, but when I try to play a song, or even press any button (such as the passage of the "library" to "playlists" on the bottom panel, the app closed immediately.

  According to some discussions on this issue, I tried (again, no no is done):

  • turn on and off Alternatively 'show music Apple' (under settings > music)

  All that being said, a likely cause of all this was that recently I have upgraded to iOS 10. I hated immensely and looked for a way back to iOS 9.   Now, iTunes has been download iOS 10 in perpetuity for awhile and the "Restore" button is no longer available even on my iTunes (on the computer) screen, so even if I wanted to give up and just go to iOS 10, I can't. I also really, really want to do.

  Please, is it possible to get my phone to the operation just as it used to? Music is one of the most important functions for me. Any ideas beyond what I tried would be greatly appreciated. I just want this thing to work...

  I'm having EXACTLY the same problem, only with an iPhone 6.  All started with iOS 10.  He hated, tried to return to backup iTunes had stopped communicating with my phone, and it had to be updated to 12.5.1, which was beyond the capacity of my OS (10.7.5).  Long story short, I installed 10.9.5 now and updated iTunes to try to fix my phone, but it gives me the above message "synchronization session was able to start.

  I have a problem with my iPhone 6 do not sync with iTunes. I tried many fixes nothing works.

  When connecting my iPhone to my laptop via the USB port, it will load. But iTunes won't recognize the device. I got around this before creating a separate playlist (access by holding SHIFT when opening iTunes), as my wife and I both use the same laptop computer for iTunes. But this no longer works and the laptop does not recognize the iPhone on any playlists. I tried the following:

  -Change the USB port

  -change the usb cable

  -reset the two devices (hard reset on iPhone)

  -allowing the radiation and authorizing on itunes

  -J' chose to allow the laptop to access the data and photos on the iPhone

  Someone at - it ideas? I am at a total loss after spending 45 minutes on this last night.

  Are you on Windows?  If so, try to uninstall and reinstall iTunes (later).

• I use a new computer and now the ipod syncs not all songs because there is not enough space despite it showing 23 GB free.

  I download music from itunes, couldn't remember my password had change. So I did then downloaded music, when I tried to sync it locked up my computer and would never sync. I can listen to music on my pc, but cannot get it on the ipod.

  To understand, you must also understand how the notes are used to synchronize. Each IMAP account (emails mostly) have an underlying protocol used to perform the synchronization of notes. Icloud account is IMAP, Google is also (or they both have most of the components of the IMAP, but it is more complex then just). Sync IMAP notes would never let features advanced to be synchronized, so had to go with different type of synchronization of server Apple to improve the 'notes' (details - below) but that the clocks single server an account - main. I deleted my recently deleted folder and follow the instructions of a guy showing a year, which suggests to set my phone date about two years back and deleting the photos recently deleted the file and both of these solutions do not work. I have reset my phone (home and power button operation / stop) and also, it does not work. I don't want to wipe my phone and restore it if possible, but it's the only option I can think of next.

  Are there other solutions before I try this?

You have already made sure to empty your recently deleted album, fix the date of return on your phone and performed a hard reset on your device.   Before diving into other troubleshooting procedures, it would be useful to ensure that you have a recent backup of your iPhone is available. This will help us ensure that all your important data is stored safely for you. Here is an article with information on how to backup your device:
