  HI guys,.

  Really hoping for more help with this problem because it is a function I use regularly for work and it completely ruined my workflow.  As says the title when I use the HDR photo merge function it returns the message "Uknown error occurred."

  

  If I uncheck auto align or your Lightroom crashes immediately.  I tried several things to solve problems such as the GPU acceleration disabling and uninstalling/reinstalling Windows and Lightroom (which means a whole new catalog also obviously).  Images I'm trying to merge are shot on a sony a7s (I can't merge all the photos I've tried several others).  I used to be able to use this function without problem, and in fact, it still works on my laptop with these same images.  My system specs are as follows:

  I was able to narrow the problem, the problem is when you want to process the HDR with a stack of photos (all stacked files) it will give you the problem, but if you expand the stack, then select individual files, it is able to treat them without problem.

• HDR Photo Merge does not!

  HDR Photo merge doesn't work on my laptop or my desktop.  Both are ver 6.2.1.  What's wrong?  Is this a BUG LR6?

  OK, both desktop & laptop had already unchecked and HDR merge would not work.  I just checked the box on both & it works now on both!  Thanks for the solution, even if it is the reverse.  Thank you!  Bob

• Interchangeability of Lighroom/Photoshop, especially for HDR photos

  I bought and downloaded from Amazon, Lightroom 5, recently upgrade to 5.7. I tried to do HDR photos and give back - after posting a question on this point - I need to have something distinct to merge. I downloaded free Photomatix. When I'm reading tutorials in Adobe/Lightroom they keep referring to Photoshop, as if it was completely interchangeable with Lightroom, especially when it is used to help merge when you do HDR photos. I appreciate this may sound silly, but I have to buy separately just Photoshop if I HDR photo merge? If I have I don't see the point of spending more money on Photoshop just to do this or have Lightroom, I misunderstood? Thank you.

  There are some tasks that do not have Lightroom, HDR and stitching panoramas are a few examples. Photoshop and Lightroom work well together as a team. Another solution would be to add Photoshop Elements to your workflow. It is much cheaper than Photoshop and has most of the features photography you need. You should also consider the plugins Google Nik. There is a plugin HDR that is part of this collection.

  Lightroom is a parametric Editor, which means that adjustments are not implemented directly in the image file. The changes are stored in a database called the catalog. Lightroom does not change the content of a master image that is imported into Lightroom pixel. Therefore, there are some tasks that cannot be accomplished using Lightroom. If another external editor can be useful in certain situations.

  However I see the results from the merger of my photographs in the overview of merge HDR, Lightroom 6 is not able to create an HDR master after that I clicked on the button merge.

  I see the process of a merger with the upper left corner of the screen, but no result.

  It now happens every time. Before this problem started, I succeed every time with the merger.

  Please give me a solution.

  What helped me was:

  "Click above of the film to check that"All photographs"is selected".

  If I saw at last all of the pictures in the library, I have merged.

  I was hoping that this solution is for you also a simple but excellent.

• Filter for HDR photos

  I used to use Aperture but have really achieved by using pictures. It does the job and is improving all the time. I shoot a lot of HDR and also keep the original. Is there a way to filter the only HDR versions and thus have a quick way of removing the non - HDR of same photo versions?

  Photomerge has been added in Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC 2015. Do you actually subscribe to the creative cloud? You pay a monthly fee to have Photoshop and Lightroom? If you are then you need to update because many of you have reported back. You'll photomerge until you upgrade.

  What is the format of these photos? They are JPEG files or another format? You also add videos? Sometimes the videos can not be processed and block the download.

  I would try the following:

  • Export the latest library of Photos to a folder on the desktop.
  • Remove the photo library (and empty the recently deleted album).
  • Restart the Mac.
  • Then add photos to Photos, but open them in the preview to check, if they open correctly, before you import them back. And only a little at a time, if you can identify the photo issues.

When I re-import them in Lr, the changes are not there. My workflow is to do nothing after development or export them to the original with a new file name destination.   And others have explained, Lightroom does not apply the changes to the file. All changes are stored in the catalog, and then applied to the image when it is displayed in Lightroom. If you want a copy of the image with any changes so that you can share with others or send it to a laboratory to print, then you must export a copy of this image by using the export dialog box in Lightroom.

  You can add an adjustment layer that could darken your entire image to as dark as you like. Once you have that layer target of the adjustment layer mask layer and paint with paint black low opacity on the box of the desired highlight image

  Click Start-> computer.   Click on the pictures (or any folder your images can be found in).   Select the size you want, and then click on organize-> folder and search options.   Now, click on apply to records.  Who will set the selected size for you open all the files.

  It seems that Windows media Encoder and photo IE10 Viewer are the root of the problem, and it is about the whole MS Platform in desktop for what anyone associated media.  As easy as it is to use another browser or image viewer I find I like the windows photo viewer ability to preview multiple images and IE10 and 11 are more now then fix everything that exists.

  The issue is having to restart or log out and back in just pass leak VRAM that can go up to 1400 MB and count. What said GPU - Z and ESTR.  The memory of the system seems to be in check most of the time.  Get off my GPU memory Windows.

  I mean leak even with the left running only windows desktop and essential tasks to keep it that way.  I have games that will never saturate 1.5 GB of video memory on my setup. Darn Far Cry 3 does not work.   I'm ranting, namely. At the same time being a little in-depth play play of this recurring problem.

• 'Could not complete the command because of a program error' when you try to merge HDR photos.

  I looked around, a bit online, but have not been able to find a solution to this problem on one of the forums. I use Adobe Photoshop CC on a Windows 10 PC. Many positions using other versions of Photoshop or Mac instead of a PC. While I was trying to use the suggestions that they mentioned regardless of version or BONES, none of them seemed to work. I have had no problem blending of HDR photo using the PLC-> merge to HDR Pro tool, but it doesn't work now. I tried to reset the photoshop preferences, disable the "generator" and change the default printer in XPS writer, but none of these suggestions seem to help at all. I'd appreciate any help from someone from Adobe who knows his business or another user who has solved this problem. Thanks in advance!

  Not sure what happens if you remove the card and put in a similar SD card. I would like to test it so that you know what to expect.
