My husband had opened places an ad on Craigslist, when a pop up appeared on the screen to alert him to disable the software pop up advertising with a 1-855-453-2 * phone number 8. This pop up to continue and we cannot see anything online. Force Quit does not get rid of this stuff. Any suggestions are welcome.

If you use Safari, you can run it with the SHIFT key. This may also work in other web browsers. If it is not, disconnect the computer from the Internet and close the tab which produced the popup.

Could not open the xls for some reason any
When I try to open a XLS file with numbers 3.6.1 I get the error message ' cannot be opened for some reason any. "
I tried to change the type of file csv and txt but neither technique gives readable results.
I also tried to fix HD Mac (in fact a SSD) with disk utility and reboot, but that did not help either.
Thoughts?

Change the extension (.csv or .txt) is not any change in the type of file.
Assuming that, since you posted in the numbers for the Mac community and state what version 3.6.1 a number you're on a Mac (and not using iOS 8 on your iPad), you can try opening the file using LibreOffice or Apache OpenOffice. Both are free to download and use. If none of them opens the file, it is probably corrupted. If they can open the file, there may be a compatibility problem between this file and the numbers. Try registering LibreOffice or Apache OpenOffice (like a MS Excel file), then try opening thaat version saved in number.

I haven't used my laptop for a while and during a power outage, I wanted to us my laptop. He did not move.

For some reason any everything suddenly I can not export from lightroom to JPEG
My desktop computer is fairly recent. I was able to use lightroom and photoshop and able to export raw to JPEG without any problem until a week ago. Lightroom allows me to edit, but when I choose to export it freezes for some reason any. So I had to edit in lightroom to photoshop and export via photoshop, a pain a bit everyone can offer me guidance to fix. Should I lightroom to uninstall and then reinstall? I have no idea.

My Abobe photoshop 4.0 is not compatible with my Windows 7 a mild wear. It was, but for some reason any won't work now. I thought it was time to try a new version of photoshop and some sort finished with a cloud, and apparently will have to pay for access to Photoshop elements, which is everything I wanted in the first place. Is there a way I can get out of this oblogation to $120.00 and go to Staples and buy Photoshop elements 14?

I don't know what you bought, but Photoshop Elements only not part of the cloud
Also, to install or run version 4 with Win7, did you do a RIGHT click on the program and select a compatibility mode from the option list?

Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

If I understand correctly, you cannot open some files of numbers even from backups, but others continue to work. To limit this problem, I would suggest starting with the following steps:
1. first of all, run disk utility and check for questions on your hard drive, as hard drive problems can lead to situations like yours.
Disk utility (Yosemite): a disc repair
2. then, you can test this in a new user, to refine, if it's a question broad system or specific to your username.
