for the bios HDD test what is failure id: 9GE399-559609-XD6U3G-60R103 average?

My computer laptop girls crashed after watching a movie she downloaded from the internet, the screen only I get is launching repair of windows 7 and windows boot screen 7.  If I go to repair screen about half an hour later I get a blue screen, and if I go to the windows start screen I get a black screen.  I tried deleting antivirus programs but no avail, any suggestions?

Duane

Hello

This is a code generated by the "F2" diagonistics integrated. In this case, this means that the HARD drive has gone wrong and needs to be replaced.

If you see a failure code after the full system diagnostic tests, write it down and contact HP support. Otherwise, the agent may ask you to go through the process of diagnostic test again to get the failure code.

The failure HP code contains four fields of six characters each, such as XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXXX, where X is an alphanumeric character.

Have a failure code does not mean that your computer is still under warranty. The date of start of guarantee on the computer determines if it is still under warranty. The agent can help you with this when you contact HP.

The BIOS displays error codes and messages. The error code consists of two parts. The first byte represents the field replaceable unit (FRU), and the second byte represents the test that failed. If you receive an error code, contact HP with the help error Code

  • Y at - it a default password for the bios on a Compaq tc4400? Need help!

There must be a way to remove a unknown password!  I disassembled the laptop and removed the battery cmos for 3 hours and it didn't work.  There must be an easier way.  There should be a default password for the bios of HP or Compaq?

    Welcome to Alzur.

How to cut the power on password or bios password is easy.

Remove the battery and power supply.

Remove the memory cover. "On the merits".

Remove the memory stick. "If there is."

You should see a label and a piece of plastic tape.

Peel off the tape and you will see CMOS_CLR1.

Use small flat head screwdriver and make contact with the 2 copper looking contacts.

Replace the tape in plastic, memory, memory and battery.

    Power and missing BIOS passwords.

Just tested it and it worked very well.

  • Reset the State of the permissions for the BBM integration tests

For the purposes of testing, I want to cancel my BBM surveys application registration and clear all permissions for this.

Now when I remove and redeploy the application, he recorded again but do so without up permissions dialog window to ask if I want to allow it to access BBM or not.

What should I do to get that back? If I go to the window of permissions of Applications in the settings (which is extremely buggy, incidentally) and disable the authorization of BBM, it does nothing but block the application to use BBM.

Try to change your application id then. (The in the bar descriptor). That * has * to work, by definition. If it isn't, then you're doing something wrong, I think. If you change the id app, it's actually a different application.

  • What is the password for the BIOS on my Satellite A100-376?

    Hello!

Yesterday I did update the BIOS of my A100-376 Satellite from Toshiba (PSAAR) to version 5, 90 - WIN. Everything is ok, but now when I'am trying to enter the BIOS Setup by pressing F2 at startup, BIOS ask me a password but I don't know what it is because I do not have. What is the problem? Something is wrong? Please help me.

    Thank you!

    Tiago

    Hello

are you sure you didn t set a BIOS password or some of your friends/family? Because it is impossible that an update of the BIOS is setting a password. My friend has a Satellite A100-778, while he did the same update, you did and there is no problem.

Maybe you need to just press 'Enter' when trying to get into the BIOS. Otherwise, I would say do the update again and try to find out who put the password. :)

    Welcome them

  • Pavilion tx1410us - error messages from the BIOS disk Test

My first post here so greetings and a happy new year to all.

I have a Pavilion tx1410us who seems to have a hard drive problem. I have Vista (Partition 2 - 60 2 GB as/dev/sda2) and Ubuntu 10.10 64-bit (1-1 St 20 GB as/dev/sda1 Partition) on the first partition and am getting ATA DMA error messages 2 and on the console when running Ubuntu.

When I had Vista on the first part of the disc I was getting a lot of errors on Vista.

I ran check disk for bad blocks, but several seem to be coming.

Last night I ran the test of the drive from the BIOS twice and twice got them the same "Test #2-07 failure" error message. The text is perhaps not quite correct, but the "#2-07" is certainly.

Does anyone have a reference to what the BIOS messages mean?

With the errors appear to come from the same part of the disk that would lead me to believe that it's the hard drive itself which is a failure, but I want to be sure that it is not the disk controller until I get a new hard drive.

It was close in the past, but we are now very careful to use only on a surface hard and keep the vents unblocked so I think I can have escaped heating problems that seem to dog these machines.

If someone is under Linux, you can install the monitor CPU cmdlets and the temperature of the system that can sit on your desktop and show you the temperatures constantly. Very useful. Interesting to see the speed at which the processor gets hot when editing or video processing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Andy

    Hi Andy,.

The error message definetely is hard even though I'm not sure what #2 refers to other it can tell the difference between the short and complete test.  This, and the fact that more unusable blocks are appearing constantly in all point to the failure of the HARD drive.

    Best wishes

  • To replace the DVD drive with the second HARD drive on the Probook 6570 b as for the BIOS setting

After you replace CD/DVD player with HARD drive in the Bay of correspondence, I had a problem with the BIOS. After starting, I received a message 'there is not a boot manager' and CTRL + ALT + DELETE. So is that posible F9 and start to use Option manually hard. Please tell me what I should do to fix this problem.

Thanks for your advice. I remember what I had to do in the BIOS. I had to choose the Boot Option and excludes "Boot from Bay upgrade". That's all. Of course subsequently followed "save all".

    Help

    Hello Indiafan,

Thank you for your message.  If possible, you will need to go to the website of your computer manufacturer to find the latest upgrades to the BIOS for your system.  They should have instructions on how to update your BIOS after installation as well.  Please let us know if it did or did not help to solve your problem.

  • Spectrum of HP x 360: password for the BIOS default administrator

    I'm doing a BIOS update.

HP support assistant tell me there's an update of the BIOS available. Many attempts to install it all failed. The installation continues for hours and never complete.

I thought that I would like to download the file to update the BIOS on the support site and install it manually. I typed in the serial number of my computer, so the site could identify relevant updates, but this failed with a 'unable to detect"error message.

As a result, I was introduced to three different updates to the BIOS and no way to decide which did not suit my system (two of them have the same date, so goes the latest isn't the problem).

I thought I would go into the BIOS of the computer to see what version is currently there, hoping that would tell me what the update is appropriate. Then asked me a password. I don't know what is the password.

I looked at the manual in the hope of finding a default password. The manual says:

"If the BIOS is protected by an administrator password, enter the password"

Very useful. Enter the password. I would have never thought it. But what is the password or where I can find it?

Note that I never put a password, so there is no chance that it is something other than the default.

    Hello

The last revision of the Bios listed for your laptop is F.32 Rev.A (March 7, 2016) on the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp74501-75000/sp74985.exe

About the bios password, it's a bit confusing - your laptop is listed as a model of consumption, while HP SpareKey is a facility for the books of class business, so maybe I need to think it more

    Kind regards

  • Advice for the real world test device

I keep running into problems of developing applications of BB where my code works perfectly well on all simulators, but as soon as I do the direct product of dozens of reports to be "unable to connect" is from (or another bug) flood from a random set of devices (the last wave is of Tower owners on Sprint and of course the app works fine on the tower for the Sprint Simulator using the same operating system) I am not able to go out and buy a Blackberry for all models on the carrier, and the labor to do these tests is beyond what my company can manage anyway.

I'm looking for is advice of some experienced developers.  What do you do to get around this?  How do you verify that your code will run on real devices?  When you get hit by a real single bug, how to solve it?

    Thank you

    ~ NN

    Agree with Simon.

deviceAnywhere is one that comes to mind, there are at least another company that was in the penultimate a DevCon, but I don't remember his name.

Each new customer has a new experience with networking and you slowly build your code to handle the case.  Have to say that we are lucky, because we mainly deal with businesses, so use BES connections for most.  And the United Kingdom, there are only 5 carriers, so it is easy to code a quick test and determine what APN settings to use for each.

Debug object, a method I would recommend is to write your own journal and provide your users with an easy way to email it to you.  Indeed, offer to send when you know you have a problem.

    Hello

The unknown BIOS password cannot be deleted or removed easily.
The unknown BIOS password can be removed ONLY by a certified maker Toshiba.

To my knowledge, the Satellite M30-742 PSM30E-7100V-EN was released in Europe (probably for the British market)
Then, probably, you should contact the ASP from Toshiba available to the United Kingdom in order to remove the BIOS password.

Here is a link to all Toshiba ASP available worldwide:
