  N.. completely different. For your mobile network, with a strong network carrier (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) Remove and return Service books

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  For the wireless, there is no sort directly 'reset' nothing beyond removing and reconfiguring of the WiFi network configurations. Beyond that, things as device WIPE, reloading the OS, and other very drastic measures would be required. And, important to note, I have no way of knowing if this is really necessary... you did not no matter what description of what happens, so it is not possible to understand your situation and you give more targeted recommendations.

  You can make your own ringtones. There are several programs available in the App World. I use mp3 ringtone creator by Javatekmedia. You put any song you want on the sd card is sur la carte sd, y acceder access with the program, set the starting point, choose the length, and then save it.   The SD card in my blackberry 8330 came from another smartphone. I can use all my ringtones and images. But the SD card is inaccessible because it's encrypted content. Is there anyway to move the data to the phone and then reformat the SD card and then bring back the data on the SD card? I would use a larger but need my ringtone and photos SD card. Help

  My email icon disappeared from my screen.  My verizon email account is listed in the "setup."  I tried turning the power on/off the phone; no change.  I have remove the e-mail account setup and then entered it again and still no luck.  How can I get the email icon to reappear on my phone?  Help!

  The first thing to do is to press your menu button and select Show all or show that one is available. If who does not show your icon, you will need to reload your OS. Not to worry, it's really easy to do. Plug your phone into BlackBerry Desktop Software, click Device > backup and make a backup of your data. Once this is done, click again on the device, and then click on restore. Find the backup file that you just created and load it onto your phone. This will restore your email to your home screen icon. It's a good idea to do regular backups so make a habit to backup your phone at least once a month.

  To switch between profiles, simply click on the profile icon and then scroll down and click on the desired profile (sounds like you want, then click on that).

  To change a profile, follow these steps:

  2. scroll down and click on advanced

  3. in the list of profile names, select Loud, then press the Menu button (on the left of the trackball)

  Now you should see the options in the case and the case you are looking for.  I think you were accidentally go into the profiles of Exception, which is more than you want to.

  I had to wipe my computer and consequently lost everything on it.  I do not have the disks provided with the phone (as numbers) and let me know what version of the desktop software is compatible with my phone.  The program on the phone is v4.2.1.96 and the platform is 2.3.0.78 I watched the software on this site and could not understand anything myself. Any help is appreciated.  If someone needs more do information let me know.
