  What you can do is upgrade the memory and the HARD drive. But as much HARD drive will not improve the performance of laptop computers, but only the HARD drive space.

  Have you tried to install the OS using another drive or maybe you could start Notepad using a Live CD Linux Live CD or WinPE or PartBE?

  Please check because your problem could be related to the laptop computer part faulty (maybe the HARD drive) or defective recovery disc.

  Now it s not possible to say what could cause this and, therefore, you should try starting with other disks.

  Hi all. I'm trying to 'fix' L300 my brother-in-law. It does not start in windows, I tried the safe mode, the repair option, all what I can in the start menu.   My laptop comes with a memory chip Samsung 1 G standard and I recently added a 2 G kingston DDR-667 to the other location. Vista recongnizes the total memory than the 3G system. My question is if this laptop supports 4G memory if I just use 2 2 G Samsung chips?

  Another weird thing is that as soon as I added this new chip, Everrest indicates that dual channel has been opened! Samsung 1 G and 2 G Kingston? How these two different chips can open the channel double?

  The usuer mannual says that the memory maximum expansionbility for this laptop is 2 G.

  Any explanation?

  Recently, I connected my laptop to my HDTV UMC of 22 "via a VGA cable. It worked fine for about a month, until the day my TV says 'no signal' when I tried to connect to the laptop. Now, I tried the last month trying to solve this problem and have had no luck.

  PC World wanted me £40 just to "have a look" load which I of course said no because this can be something simple to solve.

  I'm not sure, but your wireless network adapter should sound like Realtek RTL8187B. The other may be the normal Lan device.
