  I try to install Oracle Portal, forms, reports and discoverer 11g (11.1.1.2.0) for Linux x 86-64.
  I installed the jar file generic weblogic 10.3.5.
  
  When I try to install forms and report server configuration step fails when creating weblogic domain.
  
  Help me please install portal and reports.
  Is there a patch I'm missing or the version of weblogic is incorrect?

  You cannot configure Fmw 11.1.1.2 against WLS 10.3.5. They are not taken in charge or compatible.

  If you want to use WLS 10.3.5, you need to 'install' 11.1.1.2, but do not configure. This is an installation option. After installing 11.1.1.2 successfully, you need the patch to 11.1.1.6. After connecting, you can then run the configuration (config.bat).

  Version 11 is much more complex than previous versions. I urge you all to review the product documentation prior to installation. Alternatively, you can refer to the following MyOracleSupport note:

• Generic Apache, WebLogic Server plugin 1.1 + forms + reports

  We are planning an HA configuration for application forms-States. Environments should be divided between two VLAN (FrontEnd and BackEnd)
  VLAN FE contains the Web (Apache WebCache) layer
  BE WHAT VLAN contains WLS Server + forms and reports.
  
  The closest match to this configuration, I found in a document

  In this installation/configuration, step by step, we use Web Tier utilities bundle at the front.
  I assume that the combination of support is OHS + mod_wl_ohs.
  
  Could we replace the Web Tier utilities bundle with a generic combination Apache + mod_wl (WebLogic Server plugin 1.1).
  
  The idea is
  
  --> Ssl--> [restrict] ssl-> 2 or more [generic Apache + WebLogic Server plugin 1.1] - > | Firewall | -> 8 x [WLS + forms + reports]
  
  Platform is RedHat Linux 64 bit, SW of Oracle all the newer versions.
  
  Would it be an alternative care?

  You can do so using the WLS Plugins 1.1, like mod_wl (for generic apache) and mod_wl_ohs (for OHS 11 g) is the same.

  He prefers to use the server of HTTP Oracle 11 g with mod_wl_ohs because it is tested it in combination with other Fusion Middleware products, such as forms and reports. If you use a generic Apache, there are verses differences Oracle HTTP Server. It would be easier to configure and manage the OSH/mod_wl_ohs compatible together. For example, use of a configuration console and all two are updated with 11.1.1.x patchsets. If there is a problem specific to Apache (but not mod_wl), then Oracle can also address this question more easily if the OHS/mod_wl_ohs. Currently, there are no problems known between the two, but I'm not aware of a lot of generic customers using Apache as well as Fusion Middleware products.

• What forms/reports generator to use for R12.2.4 Apps?

  We are working on the upgrade of R12.1.2 to R12.2.4 and I read Guide version 12.2 of the Suite Oracle E-Business Developer (E22961-12) of March 2015.  On page 1-5, it says to use Oracle Forms and Reports Developer 10 g.  However when I go to download the said developer suite, Oracle said it is no longer supported and I would like to download the forms and reports of 11g developer.

  Does anyone know what is the correct version to use for the custom forms and reports in R12.2.4?

  You must continue using Forms & Reports Developer 10 g 10.1.2.

  You can. If you have sufficient resources, it would be OK. However, I'd rather have the CM node on node 1 or 2 to avoid having other nodes of level application that requires additional AD tasks like patching, upgrading... etc (unless you want to use the shared application files).

  If I implemented Cm on FORM/REPORT server, the what is the advantage and disadvantage.

  I prefer this option more that you reduce the load on the database node, and you reduce the number of application-level nodes that might make you save more time at the AD task execution (mentioned above).

  If you use the link in the column when you click on the need of the column value, you need to navigate to the next page and all the data accordingly select value here.

  My shop a report and oracle. No editor of BI. I was told there is a way to print the apex docs by calling report and oracle. We are low budget. I explored the possibility of xsl - fo, but it seems to me that I need to know some a lot of xsl - fo or xml if I want to print the total partial total...

  I installed Oracle 11 GR 2 reports of forms of Oracle 11 g with Weblogic 10.3.2 on a windows 2008 R2 (64-bit) server and a server.

  I also thought it was IPv6 but this should be fixed in 11.1.1.3 (more I disabled IPv6 on my server).

  There are some Metalink notes with different causes of this behavior and all lead to the same solution: change the hostname with the IP address :).

  Another option might be to create an entry in the hosts file located in

  %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts 
  

  with the host name and ip address of your server (if it is still allowed in current versions of windows)... I didn't try, but it might work as well.

  I installed and configured Oracle weblogic 12 c (12.2.1), forms, and reports 12 c (Professional 64-bit Windows 10, 16 GB RAM, i7 processor platform) and be able to start the server administration Weblogic, wls_forms (wls_reports not yet configured).   I'm not sure what exactly I missed during installation and configuration (Oracle® Fusion Middleware, installation Oracle Forms and Reports, 12 c (12.2.1), E66264-01) for the installation and configuration. Please help me

  Did you follow that?

  Steps in order:

  • Ensure that the machine has the static IP address (or the loopback installed and configured adapter for Windows)
  • 8 RAM minimum concert
  • Open a shell (DOS) and set the PATH to include the JDK (8U51 + 64 - bit) first in the list
  • In the shell, run the WLS installation program and follow the instructions: java-jar fmw_12.2.1.0.0_infrastructure.jar
  • Run forms and reports 12.2.1 installer
  • Run the RCU THAT found in C:\Oracle\Middleware12\Oracle_Home\oracle_common\bin
  • Run the configuration (config) (if on Windows, do not forget the shell has administrator privileges) (C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\oracle_common\common\bin)
  • With a shell with administrator privileges, start Node Manager (startNodeManager) and then start Admin Server (startWebLogic) (C:\Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_Home\user_projects\domains\base_domain\bin)

  Once the servers have been launched successfully, the configuration will complete automatically.  This process also ends configurations required by design tools, the server startup if necessary to complete the steps.  They can be stopped if you are simply interested in examining the Builder (s), but obviously will not be able to run anything, if the servers do not work.

  I hope that between this overview and documentation, almost everyone should be able to get a good start.
