It is being tested for Windows 10. If successful, the plan is to update Certification matrix with the details.  Exactly when that will be available may not be shared at this time.

I need the OEM version of windows Vista 32 bit for Toshiba Portege M750 - 10G.

    Hello

There are several methods to reinstall Vista.

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

With a Toshiba, you press 0 (zero) to start to start the ro process of factory of the recovery Partition recovery.

And if you do not score a manufacturer of recovery on your hard drive, you should be able to make your own recovery from her disks to reinstall the operating system.

Go to programs > name of the manufacturer of your computer > then their system or recovery tools software topics for them, depending on how it is formulated.

If you can't find any reference to it, contact the manufacturer for advice on how to make these recovery disks.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Siebel 8.1.1.11 on Windows 2008 32-bit

    Dear all,

We intend to improve 8.1.1.5 8.1.1.11 and currently on Windows 2008 32-bit.

Siebel 8.1.1.11 will work on Windows 2008 32-bit for HER, SWSE, etc.?

The "Certifications" tab does not have Microsoft Windows 2008 32 bit as an operating system supported. This means that we cannot spend our 8.1.1.5 existing on Windows 2008 32-bit to 8.1.1.11 unless we move to Windows 2008 64-bit?

But "Siebel Support for Windows 2008 () ". DOC ID 781428.1 "( )" indicates that Windows 2008 32-bit is supported for 8.1.1 or.

    Thank you

    Lino

    Hello Lino,

Thank you for using Oracle communities.

Regarding your query on 8.1.1.11 with Windows 2008 32 bit. You can always 8.1 patch1.11 atop 8.1.1.5 and application will work fine.

Problem here is that Windows 2008 (32-bit) is end of life (EOL) of microsoft. So Siebel will always work for Siebel 8.1.1.10 and 8.1.1.11 (including Patchsets) Siebel and Oracle supported on a technical level, but we don't plan to list the versions of Windows on My Oracle Support certify once can no longer get support from Microsoft.

Visitors can run Siebel 8.1.1.x on Windows 2008, 32-bit, but we dealt only with issues related to the Siebel code and can not help in Microsoft problems, since we are unable to get help.

So since you are running on W2008 32-bit 8.1.1.x pre-8.1.1.11 version then you might well spend Siebel to 8.1.1.11 and stay on the subject.  (As it was in the old SRSP will who honor us)

But of course, you will need to plan to move forward on W2008 R2 version.  This version is ONLY for 64-bit as matrices a with R1 W2008 32-bit line.

Note: there is a hard stop on the end of this year with the Innovation Pack 2014 (aka Siebel 8.1.1.14): as we will be upgrading all the compilers and relying on Win 2008 R2, we can support 64 bit OS only at this time (because 32-bit OS will not exist for this and future patches). However, the Siebel application will be a 32-bit application.

    I hope it helps.

    Best regards

  • OBIEE 11 g + Windows 7 64 bit?

    Hello world

Small question, but no matter who has been able to install OBIEE 11 g on Windows 7 64-bit?

I got the 64-bit Windows Installer (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-enterprise-edition/downloads/bus-intelligence-11g-165436.html). But whenever I double click on setup.exe, the DOS window is displayed for about half a second and then disappears and nothing happens. I tried 32-bit installation, but who soon realizes that my OS is 64-bit, and it gives right now too.

Based on the certification matrix (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-enterprise-edition/bi-11gr1certmatrix-166168.html), it looks like Windows 7 32-bit is taken into charge but not 64-bit.

In the past, there has always been a sort of work around or indicator command line we could throw so that he can install anyway. Anyone know a work around?

    Thank you!

  • conflicts of Outlook and firefox on Windows XP 32-bit

    Problem reports and fix:
Latest Firefox on Windows XP 32-bit.

Earlier, Microsoft Office updates have been applied in the past months.

There were a lot of problems where Outlook and Firefox seem to share the same video address space, parts of Windows Outlook appeared in the windows of Firefox and vice verse. It's a pain. I needed to have one or another stop for each other at work and then things got worse than that, Firefox crashing very often. So I did a system restore to the 01/01/2015, which has removed the MS Office updates. Then Firefox and then didn't start because he didn't like the system restore. Reinstalled Firefox on top of Firefox [uninstall] and it starts now.

Now, Firefox and Outlook work well. Will not apply to MS Office updates as MS is not stable or worrying questions about Windows XP.

The problem has been fixed. You are implying that restored system restored a video driver update and that was not the case. Yes, the video display problem in question, but it doesn't seem to be a video driver issue.

I posted with the solution so that it would be here if someone had a similar problem. I don't know why you trying to tell me how to fix something I said has been set.

I'm unable to install 32.0.3/Windows 7 64-bit Thunderbird lightning calendar.
My original calendar disappeared earlier during an update.
I tried to download lightning - 3.3.sm+ CT - windows.xpi, but every time I try to run it, it only adds the file as an attachment to a new email.
    Can you help me please?

Problem has now been solved by another thread.
Apparently, you will need to use the 'Speed' icon to install it. I didn't know the machine had nothing to do with him, but have used I am now running.
A big thank you to all.

  • Embedded search Google on our site shows no results. Windows 8, 64-bit, Firefox 30

We integrated into our Google search site. It has been brought to my attention by one of our employees that Firefox does not show the search results after a click on the search button. The question seems to be limited only to Firefox. Tested the problem on Internet Explore 10 and Google Chrome and both work as expected, showing the results on our results page.

I use Windows 8, 64-bit, Firefox 30. The user whose question is on Windows 7, 64 bit.

I used the Web console and there was an error message
    "TypeError: google.search.Search.apiary5337 is not a function". "

I'm not sure that it is the root of the problem or not, but why would that work in Chrome and Internet Explorer and not Firefox?

If you need to check it out, the website is http://www.dmns.org/ . The search box at the top right of the page. You will see that the page redirects to our ' / results? q = searchterm "." We are a scientific institution so if you type 'science' in the search box, you will be redirected to the page ' / results "with the query string of 'science' for the search term. But in my case, the search results below are white. If you search even if Chrome or IE results show very well.

Oh, I don't have any add on installed on Firefox.

Any suggestions or a fix would be great.

    Thank you.

    Carlos Mosqueda

    Problem SOLVED.
It is probably still a bug in Firefox. Our Google search < script > that call the function Javascript to Google has been within the Body tag. I moved the Script tag in the head and now it seems to work as expected. In the new Firefox, are not allowed within the Body element < script > tags?

A few videos that use the Flash plugin contain a menu entry in the context menu that allows to disable hardware acceleration in flash player.

To disable the mode you will need to edit the file C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg as explained in the knowledge base article protected.
