The error started right after the installation of the Intellitype software for the first time? If this isn't the case, then analytical anti-malware couldn't hurt.

  After the start under Vista sp2, I have a warning block that has itype.exe No. disc as the title.  It says disk, enter harddiskx where x is a number, usually 2, sometimes 3 or more.  He proposed to cancel, try again or continue. IntelliType always seems to work although I don't use it that often.

  It is a new problem that began shortly after the installation of SP2.  I tried to do a restore, but he leaves with unidentified error message. I have uninstalled/reinstalled 7.1 Intellitype.  If I take out of the routine of starting intellitype I do not get the message.

  It seems that some of the IntelliType fails to load components at startup.

  You must also uninstall the Intellitype software on your computer and restart the computer, when you uninstall software the computer restart and check if you have the same problem.

  Then you can go on installing the software afterwards.

  I suggest that you remove the Intellitype software, using the Windows Cleanup utility. Here is a link you can follow the installation of the Windows Cleanup utility.

  I had the same error today and found the answer to my question.  Acrobat attempts to retrieve a file on a removable disk, which is no longer present.  In my case, it's an SD card.  I reinserted the card in the reader and acrobat then asked if I wanted to recover the file, to which I said no. Acrobat no longer shows the message at startup.

  What operating system is involved? Assuming that Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64-bit for now.

  There is a known No Disc error associated with the elements first 13/13.1. The Adobe fix is the removal or disabling of the OldFilm.AEX file. Let us determine if this applies to your situation.

  The file OldFilm.AEX that you remove or disable renaming in OldFIlm.AEXOLD is located in the path of 64-bit Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 of

  I managed to install Adobe Premiere elements 11 on my PC:

  Dell XPS 8300

  Quad Core Intel Core i7-2600 (3.4 GHz, 8 MB of Cache)

  • 1 GB graphics Radeon HD 6450

  • 16GB DDR3 1333 RAM

  • 1 to 7 200 RPM (2 x 500 GB RAID 0) hard drive

  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

  When I open the application and click on 'New project' I get the following error message:

  AdobePremiereElements.exe - no disc

  There is no disk in the drive.  Please insert a disk in the drive

  \Devices\harddisk2\DR3

  I can "Cancel", "try again", or "continue".  The only thing that works is to hit 'Cancel' (several times).  Premiere Elements then open, but the error message will keep recurring.   Adobe support (Chat) doesn't have a lot of help.

  Anyone who encountered this?  This seems to be a common error in earlier versions (version 9), but I can't seem to find a good solution for this.   Help!

  UPDATE: just as an info... Although it is possible (but unlikely) there is a pre-installed software to interfere, there is no other software (or virus) installed on this computer.

  When you try to start again CS5.0 I get an error box "Encore.exe - No. disc.  The box says "there is no disk in the drive.  Insert a disk in the drive\Device\Harddisk8\DR8.  There are 3 buttons: 'Cancel', 'try again' and 'continuous', none of them get rid of the error box and I can not open yet.

  I reinstalled again, no effect.

  I disabled a device in position 8 and the box error message changed to "there is no disk in the drive.  Please insert a disk into drive\Device\Harddisk4\DR4. "I have reactivated the device and the error box has returned to the original"... \DR8. " »

  Stan, John, I wanted to thank you for your help and the problem of 'no disc' is corrected.

  Here is the solution:

  -J' have been able to get in again by opening an old project that did not involve an ISO file

  -I didn't once again, I opened an old project that had an ISO on a HD file (HD auto changed its name since J: K: note, I had not been able to return to the J: indicator because the missing ISO file was not resolved then J: remained "in use" and unavailable)

  -In the old project, I changed the location of the ISO file of the drive J: missing on my C: drive using the Build menu

  The 'no disc' error went, that still works normally now.

  I hope this can help someone else.  Once again, thank you.

  I am running XP Prof with SP3 and made a scan with the perfect system optimizer and it did remove a lot of files he said were copies and since then, Information System says that it can collect Information, cannot access windows management instrumentation software. I tried to use the administrative tools in the Management Console Microsoft and add snap - in following the instructions from microsoft on their site, but still did not help. Also tried to restore as soon as possible and the recovery of deleted files from the optimizer software. Nothing has helped so far. I am also on a network with my laptop which runs on Windows 7, but the have not enabled since I stupidly paid 39.99 for this software now appeasrs to have screwed up my computer. Restoration did do 1 restore and I tried 5 times and it said could not files to an earlier time which is an another prolbem I've had for a while with system restore doesn't work does not correctly. If anyone can help me I would really appericiate it. Thank you my friends.
