fpga access register on host
Is it possible to use records in the LabVIEW FPGA as the front panel controls / indicators?
I had difficultiy find this range of FPGA option.
When I tried to drag / drop this feature in my host, that's what I got?
I need to create a custom using terminals on the front panel interface to pass values to my registry?
Maciej
Test is a use case. It is also useful when you want to create reusable subVIs so that you can switch between the different references to every call of the VI.

Need sesstion of multiple access to the host of the virtual machine in vSphere Client multi
Hi experts,
We have already deploved EXSi 5.1/vSphere client5.1 for one of our environment engineer.
We need multiple/simultaneous access to vm hosts who are resident on the EXSi5.1.
are aware of our solution, the company PC (multi place) access to vCenterServer via a WIFI/vSphereClient network. and all pepole dedicated the user account for access vCenterServer/VM hosts.
but when some of the pepole tries to access VM-Host1, they use different account, they will share the sesstion. first open console will also open later attempt to access...
I checked the CONFIGURATION of terminal SERVER and configured to request user by initial information to connect and will be overwrrite user setting of... but seems it has no effect.
any advice would be much appreciated.

Is it posible to allow access between the host and virtal machine without wired network?

Is it posible to allow access between the host and virtal machine without wired network?
VMware player
My virtual machine is filled to the physical network adapter and use the static IP address.
Brad
Setting of the virtual machine: filled
Change that to each host only (what Continuum called VMnet1) or NAT (VMnet8). Both use a separate virtual NETWORK card to connect the physical computer virtual host, independent of any NETWORK adapter on the host.
... Since the machine host (win7) could not get IP, ping fail to VM (192.168.1.5)...
Because the connection between the guest and the host is through a separate NETWORK card, you must use the 'other' IP address. Access a prompt on the host computer and type IPCONFIG to view the IP address of VMnet1 and VMnet8 NIC. Then use this IP address instead of 192.168.1.5.
And when you have changed the network management modes (i.e. of bridged to host-only), Windows does not automatically renew its IP address. The virtual NETWORK card uses a different subnet if you need to renew your DHCP lease or change your static IP address to work with the new subnet.

Emergency aid - Vcenter Server down - cannot access the ESX host
Hello
Use two ESXi hosts and a Vcentre Server (virtual)
When I added the hosts in the center of Virtual Server, I chose the option of locking down (I forgot the actual box, I chose) but he said something like on the virtual circuit can manage hosts?
In any case the VC went offline, do not know why and I can't access the ESXi hosts using the VI client using the root username-password. I get the followign error:
"You are not allowed to log on the server: server name.
Yes, you need to disable the lock mode on ESXi - go to the console and in options, select turn off lockdown mode.

Communication problem between the FPGA VI and VI host-PC
Dear Sir
I am trying to establish a communication between a FPGA a PC host using the FPGA FIFO.
The communication still has a few problems and I do not know what cause them.
LabVIEW gives me the following reason "transfer has not completed within a stated time period, or in the specified number of retries."
What is the problem with my labview program? How can I solve this?
The project are attached.
Best regards
Beurms Jasper
Hello, Jasper.
Based on your feedback that a good approach might be to use DMA FIFO of the FPGA on the RT controller and use the network stream to send all on the network.
Please note that (based on your original code), may also be useful to take a look at the use of DMA FIFO with interlacing.
PS: I mention this because there is a limit on how many DMA FIFOs, you can use onach RIOtarget.

ASA 5505 VPN cannot access inside the host
I have access remote VPN configuration on an ASA 5505, but cannot access the host or the AAS when I connect through the VPN. I can connect with the Cisco VPN client and the VPN is on on the SAA and it shows that I am connected. I have the correct Ip address, but I can't ping or you connect to one of the internal addresses. I can't find what I'm missing. I have the VPN without going through the ACL interface. Because I can connect but not going anywhere I'm sure I missed something.

Unable to access the remote host
Here is the configuration of pix of my client, the problem, here is... whenever it uses a Cisco VPN dialier, it can connect to the VPN, but cannot access any host on the distance, but with the same vpn Dialer & VPN pcf file, when it is used with a connection high speed which is not route with this PIX (or not behind the PIX) It works very well. Yet one thing I noticed, it's only when I give a static NAT, it is able to access on the remote & not through a NAT GLOBAL PC when the PC is behind the PIX.

Best practices for the management of user access in ESXi host without 'root '.
What is the best way to make the management of the user access to the ESXi host after you disable the default root account. Is it better to create induvidual accounts
Via vCenter or intergrate Active directory or any other specific way. Please help me to clarify this point. Thanks in advance for your answers.
With the release of ESXi 5.1 it is possible to create an account on the ESXi host and assign them Full Admin privileged but there are a lot of admins of loggin in each ESXi host and user account creation.
I would like suggestions to add the ESXi to AD and add the authorization based on domain accounts.

Allowing access to ESXi host to other subnets
Hi all
I use the free version of ESXi and it is in course running on the network. 10.32.125.x I noticed that if I try to connect to the host via the Client vSphere from another network, such as 10.32.126.x, I can't. I can't ping or SSH host either form the 10.32.126.x network. All right if I'm on the 10.32.125.x network, which is the same network that the server is running on (10.32.125.63 is the IP host address). I can access services on thin virtual machines from other networks, just not the ESXi host itself.
Any ideas of how I can allow access of networks other than that on which lives on ESXi?
Thank you

You try to access your client vSphere ESXi host, make sure that your DNS and default gateway are defined and correct? Is your default gateway on the ESXi host on your router?

VM do not have access to the HOST AD
Hi, I hope someone can help me with a problem I put in place of a test of the product view Horizon.
I have TWO areas of windows that are independent and not connected somehow (with the exception of a few cables entering the host Vmware box). Lets call this area has
My users are on the same domain as the host VMware and VMware infrastructure.
The Office current VMs (complete machines with vsphere client) are machines connected to the OTHER domain (domain B). People are running VSphere on their physical A domain workstations, connect to Vcentre (area A), and then log on to the virtual machine by using passwords and user names from domain B.
I have installed and configured the Horizon view of domain A, plug in and set up a pool with an existing desktop VM I installed view agent, but when I connect using the client to view, I get the message error "the source Office attributed this office is not currently available.
If I connect the virtual to the domain computer has, as well as domain B by assigning a second NIC attached to the field has, the customer discovers connects and opens a black screen (different problem), so the problem seems to be that the VM needs to connect to active directory domain A. leaving the VM with a connection to these two areas is not an option (for security reasons).
Is there a way to bypass this apparent requirement?
DBagini wrote:
The problem seems to be that the guest OS (VM) of domain B must be able to communicate with the view connection server.
That is right. You can see from the diagram on page 75 http://pubs.vmware.com/view-52/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/horizon-view-52-architecture-planning.pdf
Connectivity between the virtual desktop computer (the guest of domain B in your case) and the login server is indicated by the JMS connection line.

File HOST (Mac) system is currently shared in the Parallels virtual machine and is accessible through Windows Explorer and works correctly in the Virtual Machine environment, however, after installing vCenter Converter application on the Windows virtual machine these shared folders are not accessible from the conversion tool in the selection of the target destination of the file VMware (s). I can't select an existing folder on drive "C:" to write the image so that there is not enough space available for the VMware image and it must be written in a different file system, while the image is being created.
Anyone know a way around it to show the target to write the image on the host (MAC OS) file system or is it a bug?
Thanks for the reply. It seems that the maps are not displayed if they were created as actions by the hosts. When I created a mapping directly from Windows, then this mapping appeared and the conversion worked fine.

Hello
I use card FPGA 7966R with Module of e/s 6587. I have two sets of screws FPGA, one that uses 6587 mode series (Serdi channel) and the other in parallel mode (Serdi connector). I'm trying to select one of the FPGA VIs via the host VI and I don't know if it's possible.
Some things to note:
- All IOs have the same names, FIFO has the same data type and name.
- Because they use the IO 6587 controller in a different configuration, I can't parallelize them and combine them into a single VI.
