  Yes - OUT Authentication plugin is a kind of plugin access to the message you get is valid - because I assume that somebody was trying to publish to your FMS without going through the correct credentials. It is therefore the reason why this message is generated. I hope that now things are clearer to you.

  Are you sure you can fix the display by name server? If the server does not have a static IP, you must add the name/IP of the windows dir\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file.

  On the contribution to opt for this swf file, I expect an XML response from the server.
  Under debugging, when I used Mozilla Firebug to see the response XML generated from the server, I am disappointed

  It is often an indication of doing things in the right order.

  Step 1: Connect to the computer that has a screen of XWindows
  Step 2: Say that the screen not to accept remote requests by publishing "xhost +".
  Step 3: Connect to the computer / user who is to use the XWindows
  Step 4: Tell what to display on the computer to be used for display by using export DISPLAY =: display.screen (host)

  (3) enter ' xhost +'
  (4) enter ' su - oracle'
  (5) enter ' export DISPLAY =: 0.0'
  (6) runInstaller (or use some program installation is required)

  The most common mistake is running xhost after su. It will not work. The xhost must be issued by the first user - one who owns the screen.

  If you want to connect to SQL * Server since SQLPLUS then you must use is the gateway of database for SQL * Server (DG4ODBC) or gateway for ODBC (DG4ODBC) database.
  You can do this by using the connector supplied with SQL * Developer.

  Hey all, I started having this problem with a new facility.  I'm under ESX 4.0 on IBM Blade Center (8730 MT).  The VM is Windows Server 2008 and have recently started giving me this error message.  I can not access the consoles via vCenter Server or individual ESX servers.  I tried to uninstall and reinstall the client with no joy.  Please notify.

  I try to acess manually the worker compilation .exe file and it says that the installation of xilinx tool should be checked. and that it could not load a file. (SEE ATTACHMENT)

  Xilinx 10.1 (my chassis is crio-9104 using a virtex-II Bridge)

  I read that xilinx has no full support for WIN 7 not yet. and seen on their website too. But I do not see other ppl with a few problems on the server for compilation with WIN 7 OS, but seems to have solved the problem (although not similar to mine). Which means they made it work somehow. (xilinx Web site says also that he has LIMITED support for win 7)

  I'm really stuck here. I'm still in my learning and (just trying to compile the tutorial VI!) and I don't want to waste time. I feel really stuck here. any help would be great!

  Ok. I think I got it. I've reset my network connection and asked to labview to compile. could not connect to compile the server. While crossing retry to connect, I launched the server compile manually, by clicking on the compilation server.exe and then done labview link. I guess I have overlooked some instruction somewhere that compile server.exe must be launched before making an attempt on the compilation.

• Trying to understand HT203325: cannot connect to the server with the account of the user of a network

  It is a kind of home network issues.  Basically what I want to do is set up a unified environment with the profiles of school boards.  I have a couple of iMacs, a couple of the MacBook and some iPods, iPads and iPhones.

  I would like to run the server on one of my iMac, but this note from Apple shows that I'm having problems.  I don't have a machine that I can run like a dedicated server, I need all machines to be accessible by all users of the Open Directory.

  More I read the note, less I seem to understand.  Forgive me, I'm not an IT professional.  I put in place quite a while Apple (10.4 & 10.5) servers and we had no problem with network users that connect on the real server.

  It was that home directories have been shared with AFP or NFS.  I thought that I saw that they are now shared with AFP or SMB.  Note trying to tell if the server is editing on the one hand, that no other client can mount and access a share until the server has removed it?  This seems to contradict the network share point.

  Is there anyway to overcome this problem?  I tried google, but I see a lot of messages that point to the note from Apple, but not really one that helps solve the problem.  Could I run the server on the two iMacs, put on an OD and share the home directories of the other?  So I think that it would be the base directory is never hosted on the same computer where the authentication takes place.

  Any clarification would be appreciated.

  Try it.   But I wouldn't expect that you are trying to do will be reliable, and I would not recommend using a server as an interactive workstation - the two tasks are usually in opposite directions.

  If you want to store shared files, that activate the OS X client, or install and use a NAS box.   There is no server need, if networked storage is the goal.

  Running a server means implementation of DNS services locally and many other tasks.   It was possible to get out for the most part without doing that, but 10.5 started to get flaky without services local DNS and security and network authentication are now commonplace, and this does not at all well without local DNS.

  Servers should also be available at all times, and - as often happens - shared systems may be rather less stable that software is modified, the systems are closed down, or otherwise.

  NFS is available on OS X for several years, and some people have manually configured access remotely via NFS.   It is much more common to see the AFP and increasingly used CIFS/SMB, however.

  Of HT203325: users can be local, as is typical of most of the OS X client configurations, or they can be so-called network users - users with their connection directory located elsewhere and often with access and the same password on multiple systems.   If users are configured as users of the server network, then do not allow users to connect directly to the server.   Who - is the server that serves files and directories of itself to itself - is not reliable.  Not in this technical note, and not by what I saw.

• Unable to connect to the server under any account except in safe mode - Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard.

  My Windows Server 2008 R2 does not all connect directly to the server - level of the console or via the desktop remotely.  The symptom is that Active Directory is not running.  I tried to connect computers MacBook with OS X (10.5) to active directory.  I can log on to your desktop and see all the network shares, so all users seem to work OK - performance is slower than usual.  Logging indicates the user ID or password is not valid, but they are working on the jobs or when we book in safe mode.  DCDiag does not work because it cannot log in with credentials.
