Frag disc doesn't end, it just continues to run

I put my internal Disk Defragmenter to work on the c drive of windows vista, but it rolls and without completing the task. Is there anything else I can do to achieve this? Are there reliable downloads available from microsoft to use?

Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

If the system or Mode restore safe work not and you do not have a Microsoft Vista DVD, make a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

I just ran the last update for my iPad and now it just continuously reboots to the black screen with the Apple Logo. I left plugged in all night and still no change. Hard restarting does not help, neither do not connect the unit to aMacBookPro. When I do this, iTunes complains that it can not connect because the iPad 'expires '. Now it is disconnected, but I can't turn it off. Even close the lid will not extinguish it. Any ideas?

You can navigate to the BIOS screen by pressing the F10 key as soon as you switch on the device.
You can enter the BIOS and choose the option which disables the ' Fan always ON ", and this should solve the problem.

Playback options - play once, looping or just continue to play

29 Firefox fails to come out properly and continues to run in the Task Manager.
It is a continuation of a thread found here:

Moses responded by top wire and suggested:
(1) download a fresh installer of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).(2) the release of Firefox.
(3) rename the folder
C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox
TO
C:\Program Files (x 86) \OldFirefox
(4) run the installer you downloaded in the #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.
I followed these instructions carefully but no joy. When installing 29 FF, not only refused to leave (using "exit") and continue to run in the Task Manager up until I killed him after the opening of links in Thunderbird, but I find that he refused to come out after a simple navigation and links.

Good luck for all Mozilla projects. Having installed 29 FF twice and then back return 28 twice, I'll wait and see how this plays out. Please don't send me the standard "start in safe mode", 'restart with disabled modules', 'reset Firefox' stuff (the last time that completely destroyed my browser). My setting should not accept cookies unless I make an exception. Until the FF developers find a way to do this is functional, I'll just have to manually delete the history.
Furthermore, John99, you want to maybe privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown set to 'False', not 'true' If you want to stop the automatic deletion of the history at the exit (attempt).
I've been running for about 6 hours. without experiencing the bug 'suspended '. So, I can live with that for now until this bug is fixed. It should be fixed... browsers are supposed to be able to do things like that.
On the other hand, I could find things go wrong... but so far I'm not having a problem.
I for several hours and will let you know later if things change.

Speech recognition will not start and continue to run
I am running vista 32-bit Home Premium edition. I finished the speech recognition session setting the microphone. I finished the tutorial. However, no voice recognition program continues to run. Method 1:
I suggest you to follow the steps and check.
(a) click Start
(b) type services.msc in the search box, and then press enter.
(c) scroll down to Windows Audio and Windows Audio endpoint builder of Point
(d) both should be started and set to automatic if one or both are arrested.
(e) click the name to select it.
(f) click on restart the service at the top left.
(g) repeat for both if necessary. If some are not set to automatic, and then double-click the name and on the drop-down list to set the startup type to automatic and apply and ok your way out.
Method 2:

If you have a sound card, I suggest you uninstall the audio driver from the Device Manager and and then install the latest audio driver version from the sound card manufacturer's website.
