  Your best bet is to have the apples to test the battery. Only they can determine if it's the battery or something else that is causing the problem.   Hello, I have an iMac 27 inch mid 2011 (bought on 28.05.2011 including Apple Care). The screen went blue and the iMac last weekend had problems at the start (screen stuck on gray - boot loop). I figured well known GPU problem , so I took it to my dealer.

  Diagnosis: GPU problem, but given that the replacement program ends Apple decided that I have to pay for repair costs: around 600 euros.

  Apple has decided that they will replace the video card for free for four years after the first retail computer sales. I am deeply disappointed by Apple since I am an Apple user since 1992 and it feels like they have let me down. Apple knows clearly that there is a problem with the video card. It seems that I have no chance that my iMac was not showing no signs of video card problem earlier. I can't use my iMac a lot because of work, so if I had turned on the iMac, a little more or let run together weeks I would have had more "luck"?
