  Is there a solution? I can not even find what the problem... And tecnic store seems to not be able to solve either...

  Your question is really strange. If your laptop is supported for Windows XP Home edition, and it is undoubtedly supported, then install WXP and more later all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities one by one.

  A question: is BT software stack installed on your laptop? Check in Control Panel > programs and features. If yes remove the system.

  I Hare recently upgradedmy Toshiba Satellite L855-149 to the most recent version of windows 8 6.2 and since I did then the Synaptics touch pad stopped working, I guess because the driver does not work with this version of windows 8.   To be honest, the issue described doesn't sound like a software / system related problem, but nevertheless I think that you should try the s for laptop system recovery using the Toshiba recovery disc (of course if it is available).

  In case you n t have this recovery media, I recommend you try the system reset using Microsoft own disc. essential drivers are available on the Toshiba driver page.

  If the system recovery would not work, a hardware problem (HARD drive?) may be the reason why the laptop can not boot the system properly. But it is just a presumption

  However, I think that's a good point to begin troubleshooting

  It seems silly now, but something went wrong and I m afraid recovery disks are now useless. It turns out that you can't change anything or force the cell to the recovery image installs successfully.
