  For some reason, some images are not appear on facebook since I updated to the latest version of Firefox. It's weird because say for example, a band I liked on facebook picture messages, it will appear in my news feed. However when my friends post photos, nothing appears. Just a white box. I checked in the viewpage tab, nothing is blocked. I deleted all cache, cookies, etc., but the problem persists. Even tried disabling all my addons but get the same result. Firefox running 10.0.2

  System Restore helped to heal the cause (last option of course)

  not sure about the Windows update that seemed to start the problem, but it is 2 instances of run once Wrapper were running.   I have found that if black screen you started the Task Manager, then selected and close it, either run it once windows Wrappers would begin.

  Anyway thanks for your help, we are now healed.

  Well, I think that I have finally confirmed that it was a problem of Windows Defender.  I was able to restore to the point before restoration 4 Windows Defender Update.  Everything is back to normal now.
